Central air conditioning, washer and dryer and more. Accessible without stairs. 3 TVs (36' Smart TV added to living room in 2018), DVD, Wifi. Notes: This Sea Colony vacation rental features carpet in bedrooms only. Living and dining areas are tiled. primary bedroom is located on walkway. Sea Colony - The Premier Family Beach & Tennis Resort Community - features a half mile of private beach, 12 pools (2 indoor), world class tennis, fitness centers, activities for all ages, community shuttle and year-round security. Sea Colony is ranked among Tennis magazine's Best U.S. Resorts and by Tennis Resorts Online as one of the finest in the world. THINGS TO KNOW Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available. The Sea Colony Recreational Association requires a per person resort fee for guests ages 4 and older. This fee varies by time of year and is mandatory. There is construction in the building through mid-May 2024. There will be noise, but the vacation rental will be accessible at all times. Please use caution when entering the building and obey signage. Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 1 vehicle. This rental is located on floor 9. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

We have rented at Sea Colony for several years and never had an issue. This time was a last minute booking and we knew we were getting a somewhat dated unit when we rented based upon the photos on the WhimStay website. But, it was oceanfront, with a large balcony and that was our biggest priority. Imagine my surprise when I check into the unit and the screen door to the ocean front balcony doesn't work. it's in the wide open position and it won't close - at all. I immediately called Vacasa and a maintenance worker stopped by on his way home that day to take a look. He was unable to address the issues and that was the last I saw or heard from Vacasa for the remainder of my 3 night/4 day stay - even after I called them 4x's to address the issues in the unit. Besides the broken screen door (which left me unable to leave the balcony door open during my stay because of the spring bug issues) the windows themselves were absolutely filthy. I went to the Sea Colony office and they provided me with a Manager in the Vacasa office to contact and she never returned my calls. I was forced to contact my credit card to dispute the charges for this rental. All we wanted was to be able to open the balcony door and listen the waves during our stay while we worked remotely and that was not an option. Vacasa didn't seem to care one bit about the issues in the unit and now it will reflect poorly on the homeowners, Vacasa and Sea Colony. We will never rent a unit that is being managed by Vacasa again.

The property is in a prime Sea Colony high rise. Across the street from CVS for last minute items and also from a strip mall with restaurants, ice cream and bike rentals. We were immediately impressed with how clean the unit was. Beautiful panoramic views of the ocean and pool. Kitchen and baths a bit dated but, again, clean and functional. We would definitely stay here again!

All of Sea Colony at Bethany is Just what you want, lovely apartment-like accommodations with a front row to the beauty of the ocean! Good facilities and local to great activities. Only issue: the recreation passes....an additional but mandatory fee ($25) for each person above five who is traveling. Everything else was great!

Great week at Sea Colony

Great week at Sea Colony

The property was very clean and has a stunning view of the ocean. We really enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning from the balcony. The living room is enormous and the two sofas and chair are very comfortable. Although the TV is quite small and difficult to see from the sofas. The bedrooms were roomy, the kitchen very functional, and the washer/dryer worked very well. The reserved parking space is near the end closest to the elevator which was convenient. It was also well positioned for stashing our beach chairs and boogies boards every evening instead of bringing them into the condo. Highly recommend this unit.

Given the pandemic, I was looking for a vacation that I could drive to, without too many crowds, but still had a nice beach and pool. This place met all the criteria and I loved the view from the balcony. The wifi was spotty but otherwise, had a nice time.
