Our team wears new masks, gloves and shoes covers each time they enter home to prepare it for a new stay. We clean and disinfect all hard surfaces and high-touch items such as appliance handles, light switches, door knobs, remote controls, etc. We also clean and disinfect all dishes/glassware, silverware, bedding, towels and other linens as well as tubs and toilets. Meredith Lodging has added the extra measure of a pre-check-in inspection to make sure all of our cleaning and disinfecting procedures are complete and to our standard before you arrive. Once it passes inspection, your home sits empty until you arrive for your contact-free check-in. Additionally, if your home features a private hot tub, rest assured it is disinfected, treated and cleaned thoroughly after each departure so that you and your guests can enjoy it with peace of mind during your stay.

Lovely home. Just gorgeous. Enjoyed the location, tall ceilings, and comfortable accommodations. Recommend hand soap in each bathroom and kitchen as there wasn’t any. We purchased our own and left for the next family. Thank you for the stay.

I would NOT recommend this group. The home was nice but hot tub did not work which was their primarily reason we chose this home. Very tired of overpriced listings with amenities that fail. Their response was ridiculous

The home was beautiful. We couldn't get into the key box and the kitchen faucet needs to be looked at, but overall the house was great. We could have used some more parking, but we managed.

The house was extremely disappointing, so much so this is my first ever review on anything. The hot tub was broke which was the main reason we chose this house. Then we discovered the hot water didnt work for showers. 8 adults no showers!! Lastly the temperature control was TERRIBLE. you either froze or were boiling. Never again worst beach house ever!!!

The house is beautiful, the kitchen is fantastic. Views from everywhere. Nice quiet neighborhood. Seemed to be mostly vacation rentals and only a few were occupied. We saw lots of deer, almost every day. On the last day I was sitting on the back porch drinking some tea and 5-6 deer just walked up from around the side of the house and then down into the wooded area behind the house. It was pretty cool to see them so close! Location was great, grocery stores and shopping just a minute down the street.
The only thing I would suggest as an improvement would be to put some kind of curtain on the front door. Its very close to the street and we felt like anyone could see right in and down the hall. We ended up hanging up a sheet so that we could have some privacy when we were walking around down stairs. Other than that, everything was great. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

My wife and I had a wonderful time here. Short walk to beach. Centrally located to the town and easy to get everywhere we needed. We needed to contact the staff and they were very responsive. The house itself was very nice. We would definitely stay again.

Clean and comfortable
Beautiful home with plenty of space for 8. Wide variety of books and board games for the kids. Hot tub was warm, clean, and comfortable. I noticed a lot of other properties with the Meredith logo all around town which was really nice because I was able to identify where I wanted to stay on our next vacation to Lincoln city.

The house had a great layout. A large open living area upstairs with view of the ocean off the decks and hot tub. Lots of puzzles, books, and games and short walk to the beach. House is very new in a new neighborhood. Beautiful homes all around.

Mini Vacation - Two Sets of Grandparents, Kids and Grandkids
Our stay was wonderful!!! We spent three nights - two sets of grandparents, our kids and grand kids. The home is in a neighborhood of like and lovely homes, quiet and peaceful. . .a five minute walk from the beach. The home is beautiful, fresh and clean. The kitchen is well supplied making it easy to cook up meals and serve them. This home is kid friendly stocked with toys, booster chair, kids dishes, etc. We were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend Cascade Cottage.

Great location, Nice view, very nice home
We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the nice home! Would definitely stay there again. Our only disappointment was that the hot tub was not up to temperature the night when we checked in. It was cold and the only night we could use it all together was the first night.

This property was a great little getaway for our family. Plenty of space. Nice open concept and a surprise little view for sunsets and rises. The mattress in the master was not the greatest, but the place was beautiful and fully stocked

Loved our 5 nights here at Cascade Cottage! It's becoming a yearly tradition!!! It was very stormy and the beach was closed off, but we enjoyed yummy meals, games by the fire, and the amazing hot tub, as well as, shopping the outlets. Hope to be back next year. In Lincoln City...Forced to stay in a house called Cascade Cottage....which was inhabited with pigeons, poop all over the place, birds definately in Attic... house was advertized as Pet Friendly, yet their is no place for the dogs to go to the bathroom... lot drops off into a ravine and is within a few feet of the house... could be very dangerous to kids as well.. before we went into the house we called Meredith and spoke to Mary... Mary said she was unable to move us.. . She said they are committed to the property owner and can't cancel... for Any Reason... she did call the owner, and told them the issues, she phoned back and said you arent going to like this.... and refused to move us or refund anything to us... .upon entry into the house we saw Meredith rules handbook.... rules which are not shared in advance, which confirm that they guarantee nothing for any reason, and have your credit card and will use it if needed without your approval. Needless to say, this was highly disappointing... we will never stay with them again...

We stayed here in the middle of July 2018 for a family reunion and couldn't have found the house in better shape than it was! The upstairs was so open it could fit a nice group for dinners. We would definitely stay here again!

This home was well stocked for 10 guest. The best of all homes we have stayed at through Meredith Lodging. It is a lovely home and would be happy to rent this home in the future. The only concern was the mattress pad on the hideaway couch is stain and needs to be replaced.

We had our son, daughter-in-law and grandson from Texas along with our son, daughter-in-law and grandson from Aumsville and our daughter from South Carolina...all TOGETHER! This was the first time for the uncles and nephews to be together. The grandsons are 8 months and 2 months. So pleased with the room set up and how prepared the house was for any age groupings. The blocks and toddler toys were great and the hot tub was enjoyed by the adults. The kitchen prep and dining space was perfect for gathering and preparing together:) We like the quieter atmosphere of Roads End, but also close to the casino or shopping for the young couples. We are planning to make this an annual gathering and the 3 nights for the price of two made it possible for us to treat our children to a wonderful family time.
