My family enjoyed this stay very much. We had enough room for all 10 of us and a short walk to the beach. Would love to stay at this location again! Only problem I had was when I booked the room it said there was a hot tub, but there is NO hot tub at this location.

The house is clean, had everything we needed, great entertainment area, and wonderful ocean view. The only downside is the bedroom on the second floor has white blind and curtains that are pretty sheer. It gets light pretty early and it was hard to sleep in. Other than that we enjoyed everything.

the house was old, had broken window, doors, blinds. property needs up-keep. So not worth the $399 a night we spent. Other homes for that price so, so much nicer and cleaner, and new.

The view is amazing but the property isn’t being maintained. The railing on the stairwell has broken caps, the BBQ was destroyed. The patio furniture was a safety hazard and the kitchen was swarming with ants. There were several windows without screens and there was bo extra linens for the pull out sofa. One bathroom didn’t have a working door and the dryer was broken. There were hairs all over the place. We are very disappointed with what we paid for the property. We received a text on the second day asking how it was going and we shared out concerns and they finally offered to send out maintenance which wasn’t the point. They weren’t going to do major work while we are here.

The only downside was that the dishwasher had quite a bit of mold in it. There were wet dishes in it when we arrived. We saw the mold when we unloaded it. We washed those dishes and all other dishes that we used by hand after that. Not really too much of a problem except knowing all the dishes in the cupboard had probably been washed in the moldy dishwasher. Also, we could not get the barbeque to turn on. I called the property manager on Friday, telling her that we had already bought our steaks for the 7 of us for Saturday dinner. She sent a person over Saturday afternoon. By then we had determined that the starter didn't work so we had bought a barbeque lighter at the store by the time he arrived. (Left it in the kitchen drawer for the next visitors.) The barbeque was pretty grimey, but after we let it run on high for a half hour, we were able to clean it pretty good and able to fix our steaks that evening. Not insurmountable problems, but, the dishwasher should really be thoroughly cleaned!

Fun stay!
Cute comfy house. We didn’t have internet the first day or so because connecting was confusing and the instructions weren’t complete. Walking distance to the beach. We were enjoying a bbq with some music and an old grouchy lady down the street called the police on us. The officers were nice. But that lady was not.

Retirement
Spent 3 nights. Super easy check in. Great house - way more room than the 2 of us needed, but will definitely stay here again. Great ocean view, very clean and had everything we needed/wanted.

Great for a Weekend Out of Town
We had a wonderful time at this house in October. Plenty of room for the 6 of us, including a baby and a toddler. We definitely plan to stay here again soon!

Amazing view. Plenty of room.
We loved the beautiful deck and the amazing view from it. The kitchen had everything we needed. We were happy to discover that two of the sofas became beds and the large couches in the living room were perfect fold sleeping. Our teenagers loved the little basement room and ended up sleeping on the chairs because they were so soft. The tv’s and fireplace took some time to get working because there weren’t any instructions anywhere. Beach access was .19 miles walk. You can also drive and park to the main access point which is still only .5 miles away. The beds were comfy and the large windows let you view the ocean from the main living room and kitchen and the loft and basement. We saw deer in the yard twice and found a couple star fish out by the “secret beach.” We tried HWY 101 Burger and it was great! We couldn’t get reservations to Tillamook, but we got ice cream at Safeway and made our own cones. We also used the BBQ on the deck too. The laundry room is in the basement and could use some TLC, but I liked that there was a doorway from the driveway right into it so we could bring in our sandy beach stuff and not dirty the house. The bath faucet upstairs was broken and I texted Meredith Lodging and they came within a few hours and replaced it! We were so grateful. We will definitely come back.

Needs
We didnt have Wifi and there was only 2 rolls of toilet paper for the entire house. There was no hand soap in the bathrooms and few towels. I didn't see any instructions on how to check out. Typically when we rent. House theres some direction...but this house was just renting a house. It could have been the Covid 19 restrictions but not sure how that would effect the wifi. We tried calling the owner but got nowhere. I'd still stay there again. It was a nice house. Needs a little fixing up as it had a broken gate in front but overall it was decent. My family and I enjoyed it. Oh, and to the owner you have a shower upstairs that shoots out only hot water because the knob wont allow you to adjust it. It may be old and stripped. Not safe for kids. There's also a window upstairs that doesn't close all the way, could cause you some serious damage in the future.

Rose Bowl Stay
Loved the house! A few things need to be fixed though... The upstairs curtains don't go up! that was frustrating! and the heater didn't work the last day, but used space heaters. The dishwasher could be upgraded, does't dry the dishes. Sorry for sounding so whiney...still loved the house. Great view of the stormy weather. Excellent Barby too!

This was our first experience with renting a vacation home and especially during a family holiday such as Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely do this again! The home was peaceful, a great view, deer, quiet, a wonderfully equipped kitchen and as cozy and roomy as could be. The decor was very beach themed and there was a view from every side of the house. The only thing was it did rain most of the time but it did not stop our great time.

I recently rented this property for beach getaway weekend for a group of friends. The property and it's views are really quite wonderful. There are large windows on the main and upstairs floors, which provided a beautiful view of the ocean. There was plenty of room for our group. The staff were friendly and seemed to care about both the property and our needs as a renter. There were a couoke of notable issues. We had to continually reset the breaker when using the microwave. Additionally, the three "real" beds were quite comfortable; however, the two hide-a-beds were not useable for adults. If you have a larger party, you will need to bring your own mattress/cot. Other than these two items, we really enjoyed our stay.

Other than the lockbox/key not being in its proper place, it was a pretty great place to stay. We were given a new lockbox & housekey within about an hour, & were compensated by having a later checkout time on Sunday-our Daly of departure. This was really appreciated. The hide a bed & ottoman upstairs need to be replaced pronto. Very uncomfortable & old, & the bottom of the ottoman completely fell out when we tried to move it to fold out bed. Unacceptable! Also the ancient furniture in the basement should be replaced with another normal bed. The place was otherwise very clean, with a great view of the ocean. Wouldn't stay there again unless better sleeping arrangements were available.

We enjoyed our stay, the weather was perfect, sunny with a slight wind. We feel the maintenance should be more thorough, main level TV/cable would not work, wi-fi kept going out, broken blinds, micro light out, kitchen faucet broken, needed some dusting (cobwebs), washing machine somewhat moldy (just needs to be cleaned), minor but useful. Beds downstairs were extremely uncomfortable, felt like sleeping on springs. If a few small things were updated, this house for would be awesome. Location was quiet, views are amazing, size was perfect for 8 people. Thanks!

Lovely view of the ocean from this home atop Roads End. Perfect for three or three couples with three separate bedrooms providing privacy and solitude for all. Well furnished kitchen, multiple sofas, and minutes from downtown Lincoln City all make this a welcome respite on Oregon's magnificent Coast line.

The views from the deck, living room, kitchen and upstairs were terrific! It's a bit of a climb uphill from being on the beach and the house has stairs, just FYI. The downstairs unit is dark and feels like the basement it is. The main floor bedrooms (with queens) and upstairs with the king were much, much nicer. We had four adults in our group and it was a good size for us. I think it would feel tight if you added many others.

The view can't be beat, and the house is cozy and spacious at the same time. Our main complaint was the internet; no matter what we did, we couldn't get strong enough signal and it was pretty much worthless. In addition, we only used two of the three bedrooms, but I'd like to come back and all the other reviews about the third bedroom mattress would prevent me from doing so should we have more guests the next time as it appears that mattress had not been replaced. Finally, only providing one key without any keyring seems a bit careless, one misstep and it could have easily been dropped through the slats on the front deck. Overall, however, we really enjoyed the house.

The house has a great view, clean and comfortable. I really liked the beachy feel of the house. The only issue I had was the front bedroom bed needs to be replaced. It sinks in the middle and uncomfortable. Otherwise the house was perfect for us and look forward to staying there again.

This is an older home that has some character and great views of the ocean (when it's not foggy), Beach access is a short walk away. Kitchen was ample with all the appliances, pots, pans, utensils, etc. that we needed. Living and dining areas are very comfortable. Two of the three beds were fine. The one in the south bedroom needs a new mattress badly. Also the outside door knobs/locks need replacement. The older patio lounge chairs are ripping and need to go. Home was clean and ready upon arrival. We would definitely consider Owl Lookout again.

This is the place to be if you have 10 people but also want a little privacy. We were never in each other's way and the two updated bathrooms were sufficient for us all. Proximity to the beach made it easy for us to get there and back (in case we forgot something at the house). The kitchen was big enough for several people to maneuver around and was stocked with plenty of nice dishes, utensils and appliances
