About this house rental
Located in Sunriver, this lovely house for $431 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Our house is one of the most unique homes in Sunriver. Hidden from the street in the quiet north end of the resort, it is located on the Woodlands Golf Course and features rare views of Mt Bachelor from the back deck. Fort Rock Park is only a short distance away. Enjoy a beautiful walk or bike ride along the network of Sunriver bike trails and end up at the river, the trail north to Benham Falls, the Mall, or the Deschutes River. Approach the main house along a dramatic 70-foot breezeway that connects with a wrap-around deck. Inside you will find new hardwood floors, new carpet in the bedrooms, and fresh paint throughout. The large wood-burning fireplace features a striking brick fireplace, the outside portion of which can be viewed through an 8-foot skylight set into the vaulted ceiling. Firewood is provided. The main house is kept cool in the summer with central A/C. The separate studio apartment stays comfortably cool at night in the mountain air. There is room for everyone to gather and enjoy each other in the central living area of the main house and also enjoy some privacy in the separated bedrooms. The central living area is surrounded by huge walls of windows and sliding glass doors that open onto expansive decks overlooking the golf course, pond and mountains beyond. The main floor of this 2-story house features an open floor plan with the kitchen, dining area and sunken living room. Also downstairs are a King Master and a separate wing with a Queen Bedroom, a 4-bed Bunkroom perfect for kids, and a shared bathroom. A new washer and dryer are located in a hallway closet of this wing. Up a sweeping staircase is the King Master Loft, a unique "open bedroom suite" that overlooks the living area. Because it isn’t entirely enclosed it may not be the best choice for light sleepers, however its spacious design and lovely bathroom make it the most coveted sleeping area in the house. Across the beautiful covered breezeway is a detached studio guesthouse with a queen bed, kitchenette and private bathroom. We are happy to provide you with cable TV, HBO, and a Roku box for your viewing pleasure. Board games can be found in the living room cupboards and there are a variety of books for you to enjoy during your stay. You might find yourself spending most of your time on the expansive decks and grassy lawns that surround the house and are ideal for enjoying the fresh mountain air in Sunriver. A 6-8 person, private, hot tub and a gas BBQ are both located on the deck overlooking the beautiful views. A badminton set is in the garage and there is plenty of room to play on the front or back lawns. The kitchen is fully stocked with new appliances and all of the dishes, utensils and tools you will need to prepare your perfect vacation meals. A portable crib and portable high chair are kept in the home for families with small children. A double garage is attached to the guest studio and contains 9 adult bikes, 3 kids bikes, and a 2-child bike trailer for you to enjoy on your adventures. Helmets and a bike pump are provided. There is a basketball hoop in the driveway. A Level 2 EV destination charger for your electric car is located in the garage so you can be ready to explore after charging up overnight. Be sure to bring the cord for your vehicle as this charger is just the outlet! We offer a dog friendly home with a nominal pet fee of $10/day per dog. If your group has more than two dogs we are happy to negotiate a reasonable fee. Please let us know if you are bringing pets when you book. We ask that you keep your pups off the bedding and furniture and not leave them at the house alone unless they are crated/kenneled. Dog "booties" are provided for your furry friends, to protect the new wood floors. We hope you will give them a try. Your rental comes with 10 Recreation Plus passes to the Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic and Recreation Center, so you and your family can enjoy a variety of activities during your stay. Please note that the SHARC facility was intermittently closed due to Covid19 and is operating with limited hours and capacities during the pandemic. SHARC will only be open to people with Recreation Plus passes so you will have access that many people will not. Please visit the SHARC website to see what kinds of fun you can have! Please note that the cancellation policy is set to strict because the house is in high demand, partly due to it's size. However, we make every attempt to work with guests who need to cancel late due to a documented emergency. A cleaning fee of $275.00 will be collected. The house sleeps 12 per Deschutes County regulations. This large home comes with a well-stocked kitchen that fits multiple cooks, a roomy great room with a cozy wood-burning fireplace, private views of a pond and the golf course, a long dining table that fit everyone in our group, and a very attentive home owner who answered any questions we had within minutes. It's a good choice for a large group, and it's pet-friendly to boot. We had a nice stay.

The layout and location of this home were perfect for our family trip. It was nice to have the separate apartment for our aunt that joined us on the trip. We particularly enjoyed the open living space, large deck, well-appointed kitchen and all of the fun bikes! Deborah (the host) was extremely thoughtful and responsive; it's clear she wants her guests to have a wonderful experience in her home.

We have rented lots of places in Sunriver over the years and this was an absolute stand out. We were really impressed with the house, it was so comfortable and well maintained with a really nice hot tub and great bikes in the garage. We really appreciated our week here!

The house was wonderful for the family reunion that we had. One of the nice things was the back patio and the green yard that the kids got to play in. The pond behind the house was fun because the kids got to look at the polliwogs that were swimming there. The kitchen was Full of all the utensils you may need. There were lots of bikes to choose from for all our kids. Thank you again for the wonderful weekend!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was spacious enough for multiple families, was well stocked with everything we needed and the hot tub was so nice! Loved the view of the pond and golf course. The host was a great communicator and everything about the house was easy to figure out. I highly recommend this vacation rental!

Contacting Deborah was easy & she replied right away with the check in instructions. It’s a great location with golf course & a water view. Very peaceful & close to the both paths. The one issue we had was the step down into the kitchen. A couple people fell going up the step. Maybe something bright by the step would help see it. Other than that the place is great!!

11 Hickory Lane is a favorite place for our family gatherings. The three sleeping areas (each with a full bath) is the perfect fit for our group. We appreciate the easy flow of the large living/dining/kitchen/deck area, too. A bonus is the small apartment in the garage area, with its extra kitchenette, refrigerator, and full bath.
We were able to easily reach the host. She made sure that any issues we had were resolved quickly.

The home was just as described. There were 10 of us and 1 dog. easy access to everything. Kids loved riding bikes to the park area each day. We hired a chef for our last night's dinner, she had been to the house before and said it was the best kitchen with selection of equipment and size of the kitchen to operate in.
Our dog actually liked the doggie socks, she didn't slip on the floors. The seperate guest house is a bonus. very nice for the couple who preferred to be private.

Great family location
This is a very comfortable, although a little dated home. It was perfect for the 10 of us in our family plus the dog. Kids and dog enjoyed the garden. All humans enjoyed the hot tub , and the bikes! A quiet safe location on a cul de sac with views from the patio. A bonus with all the Sharc passes was that we could launch our own kayaks from the Marina using the swipe on the pass!

Fun in the Snow
The house and guest apartment easily accommodated our group of 8 adults and 4 children. Plenty of room for hanging out together and the kitchen is well equiped and large enought for several cooks. We arrived to a snow-covered property and had additional snow during our stay so we didn't have to go anywhere for sledding,

We varied in age from 16 months to 66 years. The house and location were exactly what we hoped for. Everything we wanted was within walking/biking distance: the river, SHARC, grocery store and golf. Non stop fun for all. We hope to return again soon.

Can’t beat the location of this resort town, super easy access to everything Bend has to offer! 20 minutes from downtown and 30 minutes to the Bachelor area.Communication with the owner was incredible, can’t say enough great things about their patience, understanding and helpfulness in such a crazy time to travel. The property is definitely not the most updated but the space is HUGE and very cozy. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to relax and enjoy Bend!

Great winter getaway location!
We had an amazing stay in Sunriver! Can’t beat the location of this resort town, super easy access to everything Bend has to offer! 20 minutes from downtown and 30 minutes to the Bachelor area.
Communication with the owner was incredible, can’t say enough great things about their patience, understanding and helpfulness in such a crazy time to travel.
The property is definitely not the most updated but the space is HUGE and very cozy. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to relax and enjoy Bend!
