About this condo rental
Located in Emerald Isle, this attractive condo for $304 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This ocean front condo was just remodeled, refurbished after Hurricane Florence. It has taken 2 years to get everything completed but it has been worth the wait. It is pristine now. The kitchen has all new cabinets, granite countertops, new appliances. Everything you need to cook is provided. Dining table seats 6, with beautiful light fixture for added charm. The sectional living room furniture is very comfy and sofa has a queen bed. Master bedroom has a new king size bed with full bathroom including a large shower. Second bedroom has a new queen bed also with its own full bathroom. Third bedroom has 2 single beds and a half bath just down the hall. The condo is open floor plan for family living but bedrooms provide privacy. The slider off the living room exits onto the deck with table and 4 chairs for enjoying the outside.

Definitely couldn't beat the location. Absolutely loved being steps away from the path to the beach and having the pool across the parking lot.
The place is very quiet. We felt completely safe with the kids running ahead of us to and from the beach.
Everyone staying on property was extremely nice and friendly which just made our time so much more enjoyable.

We were lucky enough to book this property over the Memorial Day weekend to visit with my Marine son. First of all the check on was super easy and the management staff were on point!! The condo was clean and ready to go. The three bedrooms were a perfect size for my small family and my son’s Marine buddy. The location of this condo could not be anymore perfect, just steps away from the beach access. We were able to walk back and forth for multiple visits to the beach without needing to load up the car!! I also appreciated the walking/biking trail out on the main road. We ran into one issue during our visit, when the air conditioning wasn’t working. But one call and just a couple hours and the condo was cool as a cucumber!! I would love to come back next year for another visit with my son. 10/10

The apartment had been "cleaned“ for our stay, but was still VERY dirty !
Sand on the floors, garbage behind / under furniture and beds, windows and sliding doors were full of finger / handprints, mold & mildew in the bathrooms and the entrance door was filthy!
This place urgently needs a deep cleaning !!!
There were also a number of things which were broken or not working. A complete list would be too much here… The short list : exhaust fan in the master bath runs, but is ineffective. Shower drain in second bath is clogged. The master bed desperately needs a new mattress. One children‘s bed has a broken headboard. Kitchen floor has a "soft spot“ which has been covered by a plywood board and a piece of carpet (seriously ?), etc. , etc. …
For the price of this rental, the owners / managers simply need to do more !

We had a wonderful time, this condo has a beautiful view of the ocean, and is situated close to the walkway to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

The condo was not very clean. It had a rotten section of the floor in the kitchen that you could almost step through and was dangerous. The bathtub and shower was stained and dirty. There was mold on the shower. The fridge smelled like fish. My feet stayed dirty from just walking on the floor.

Great location. Comfortable nicely decorated
Great location. Near beach and pool. Nicely decorated and very pretty. King bed very comfortable. Nice to have linens and bath towels provided. Kitchen has everything to cook. Minor TLC cleaning needed.(hidden areas) Sub floor in kitchen needs repaired.to highlight the beautiful new floors. Very nice remodeled unit. With everything you could need. Fit our family of 6 comfortably. Very nice gated community. Pool was nice. People were very friendly.Our first visit to emerald Isle. We loved it.

Convenient location
This location has a beautiful beach view from the deck. It was an easy walk to the beach. The condo had plenty of room and didn’t feel crowded. There was always plenty of parking and the pool wasn’t ever crowded. Great place to stay!

We had a wonderful beach vacation at this property. You can’t beat the location on the island, access to the beach, and proximity to the pool. There is plenty of parking in this safe and secluded villa property. Most of the occupants are owners, the grounds are well kept, and there’s not much competition for pool chairs or places to set up on the beach.
The property itself is nice for a small family. Our family of 4 fit comfortably in the three bedrooms. The TV has the option of Netflix, Disney+, HBO, and other applications that will require your own login. The WiFi is easily accessed, and fairly fast. We didn’t have major issues, but there were some concerns I would like to point out to future guests.
The major flaw in the property is the entrance; there isn’t a bolt lock, and the doorknob lock is old and loose. The screen door to the property is beat up and gives a poor first impression. Multiple windows were unlocked when we checked them the first night. The floors were very dirty and the property seemed generally unclean. There aren’t any cleaning amenities available. The hand soaps were 90% empty, but filled with water. We had to purchase Draino for a clogged drain, paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, and all beach supplies including beach towels, everything except chairs. We left sand toys and a pool noodle for the next guests.
The kitchen is disorganized and full of left over items from previous guests. There is a lot of stuff, but not a sorted kitchen to cook and prepare meals in. There are also multiple low spots in the property. It seems like there were new vinyl floors put in without addressing sub floor issues. Most notably, a large low spot in front of the dishwasher.
For those staying in this area for the first time; regular beach umbrellas will not work on this windy beach. Most people buy a product called a Shibumi, which retails for $250. You can purchase them at Ace on the island.
The owner was responsive and did say she would address the cleanliness issue of the property. Overall, I’d give this a 3/5, and for the price would stay here again if ever in this part of the country.
