About this chalet rental
Nestled in Beech Mountain, this charming chalet for $392 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Slopeside is one of the closest vacation rentals to Beech Mountain Resort and the Ski Village. Walk to the Resort Village in about a minute for mountain biking, hiking, mountain disc golf, outdoor concerts and, of course, the Beech Mountain Brewing Company Taproom & Pub. Take a scenic chair lift to 5506' Sky Bar for Mile High Yoga or lunch, a beer and live music most weekends at the top of the mountain. When the Land of Oz is open, the shuttle will take you right to the entrance of Oz, too! In the winter, skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, dining and entertainment are just steps away, as well. When you aren't enjoying the Village and Mountain, relax in our updated mountain home. Panoramic windows throughout provide a 180-degree long-range view of the mountains for as far as the eye can see. Enjoy the propane fireplace in the living room while you watch the game on a 65" HDTV. Because it's a smart television, you can also log in to your Netflix, Amazon Prime or Hulu accounts and enjoy the same content that you do at home. Send the kids to the loft where they will find a 50" smart television in addition to an XBOX 360 and dozens of games... or follow them up and challenge them to a game of foosball on our full-size table. The sectional sofa in the loft converts to a queen bed. There is also a dedicated bathroom as well as a kids bunkroom (four single beds) on the second floor. On the main floor, you will find two master bedrooms with baths, kitchen, dining room, mud room with racks for your ski gear and the living room, with a 65" television and even more beautiful views of the mountains. Watch deer and other wildlife as they work their way down the mountain each evening from the giant outdoor deck. Most importantly, enjoy the most unbelievable, breathtaking mountain views and both sunrises and sunsets from the giant windows in the cozy living room and spacious dining room. The kitchen is fully-modern and well-apointed with everything you need to make gourmet meals during your mountain retreat. You will even find a Nespresso machine with a sleeve of a dozen espresso capsules waiting for you on arrival.

Awesome house that offered plenty of room for 6 adults and 1 eleven year old. Big windows in the den with 20-30 mile views. Going to the slopes and the village was a short walk down the steps. So after an initial trip to the grocery store, we didn’t start our vehicles again until checkout time. Our stay was further enhanced by 2 days of snow flurries making it a true winter wonderland! Hope to return in the future.

We were impressed with the property, the layout is one of the most efficient and suitable that we’ve seen. Location would be great for skiing. Everything was clean and there were ample supplies of towels, bedding and dishes, etc. We would stay again!

Slopeside was a perfect weekend getaway! The views were spectacular. We spent the majority of the weekend eating and watching movies. It turned out to be a windy weekend a little too much for my mom. She was happy just sitting in the living room admiring the view. Matt was only a text away if we needed anything. We are looking forward to staying at Slopeside again.

Great stay with family, kids of all ages. Something for everyone and steps to the slopes made the typical drudgery of lugging gear a snap. House was immaculate, instructions for use of household items and fireplace very clear. Great location and close to both slopes and downtown. The view was absolutely amazing. Would recommend for families and friends/couples, great for kids. We hope to come again soon!

The chalet is just as pictured, the view and location are unbeatable. Matt was a pleasure to work with and clearly loves sharing his home and helping visitors enjoy the Beech Mountain area. It was a great place to escape the heat of summer, we'd stay again for sure!

We were there for a mtn bike race - location was excellent - super easy 3-4 minute walk to the center of race activity.
House was nicely laid out. Great views off the deck, and a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed our stay.

The location was perfect for those that want to ski and close to the resort but unfortunately the property was dusty and dirty. For someone with severe allergies, it was difficult. and we should not have to reclean whole property when we arrive,

Amazing Location & Fantastic Long Range Views
We had a fantastic stay at Slopeside!
We were set to stay at another location that canceled on us as we were leaving home and we ended up better off for it.
We found Slopeside and the owner was able to work with us remotely while he was on vacation to get us setup to stay at Slopeside on short notice. Despite the short notice, the house was clean and maintained as if they were expecting us.
The first night that we checked in, we found whiskey cubes and beer mugs in the freezer! The place was also stocked with good barware, including custom pint glasses with the beech mountain logo and slopeside printed on them. It was all a nice touch considering how our vacation had started.
And the views and location are truly amazing - i woke up every morning by 6 to make a nespresso coffee and sit on the couch to watch the sunrise out the window. And you simply can't beat being a about a 5 minute walk from Beech Mountain Crewing Co.'s taproom. They also had empty growlers on hand so that you could get them filled without having to buy the growler (unless you wanted one as a souvenir of course).
As the description says - Simply walk down the stairs and you are at the ski village grill, pass through the tunnel and you can buy your lift ticket!
And there is plenty to do - While my kids loved having the upstairs loft to themselves to play on the XBOX ONE and watch Netflix on the big screen, we were able to get them out to hike at the Buckeye recreation center, and made trips to grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock. Even the trip to Chimney Rock and the hike up the outcroppings trail was doable in less than a day,
We will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at Slopeside this week! House was great and had everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable. Walk to slopes wasn’t easy in ski boots so we rented a locker and wore our regular shoes for the walk. Problem solved. Views were amazing, I would have been happy staying inside all day!
