About this house rental
Nestled in Beech Mountain, this charming house for $418 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Relax and enjoy a slower pace of life in a great Beech Mountain location! Our 5BR/3.5BA, 3500 sq. ft. custom built mountain home can easily accommodate 2 or 3 families & is perfectly set up for guests of all ages. This is a 3 level luxury home providing ample space for everyone! (** If you need more room or your preferred dates are taken visit our other property, VRBO # 1232701. It's on the same street!) The main level has a beautiful large great room with floor to ceiling gas fireplace, 49" 4k TV, cathedral ceilings & hardwood floors. An upscale kitchen, with KitchenAid appliances and granite countertops. Half bath also located on the main level as well as the spacious main level bedroom en suite with a 49" 4K TV. This bath offers a double vanity, tiled shower, Jacuzzi tub and walk-in closet. On the second floor you will find 2 bedrooms, one overlooking ski village with a queen sized bed, 32" TV. While the other has a twin over a full bunk bed, this room also has a standard sized crib that may be used for our small adventures. There is a full bath in between the two bedrooms. The loft area has a wet bar with granite countertops, pool table, Winmau Blade 4 dartboard, 43" 4k TV, a gas fireplace and a desk area to do any office work; all overlooking the great room and out into the mountains. The lower level has 2 bedrooms, both with king beds, one with a 49" 4k TV. A full bath in between the rooms as well as a large great room. The lower level great room has a leather full size pullout sofa bed and love seat, 49" 4k TV, wet bar with granite countertops, chalkboard wall and a Foosball table. There's also two very large outside decks on the back of the house stretching across the entire back of the main & lower levels. Outdoor dining set, gas firepit table & gas grill. Our house comes with the ability to request Beech Mountain Club membership privileges (Beech Mountain Club transfer fees apply-currently only allowing a transfer of membership. Please inquiry prior to booking, if wanting to use the club). The club has a gorgeous private 18-hole, ridge-top golf course featuring spectacular views of mountain ranges in North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. 10 clay tennis courts, outdoor heated swimming pool, pickleball and a wonderful fitness facility. These activities are seasonal. The Club's expansive recreation program covers everything from art classes to mountain hikes and provides wonderful dining options with unbelievable mountain views. From mid-June until August, you'll find age-specific day camps and in the colder months, there's a winter clubhouse and private ski lodge on the slopes of Beech Mountain Resort. Beech Mountain has a lot to do & there's always something happening in the area! Some notable events would include: -Land of Oz -The long running annual Woolly Worm Festival -Concerts every Sat. in the summer on the decks at 5506' Skybar as well as Mile High Yoga (great way to start your day!) -Beech Mountain Resort -June is Family Fun month with different events each weekend. -At nearby Grandfather Mountain you'll find the famous mile high swinging bridge & in the summer Grandfather Mountain Highland Games. -Beech Mountain Resort hosts mountain bike trails & lessons in the summer. In the winter you can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, the Beech Mountain Brewery, coffee shops, great restaurants, tubing, sledding as well as the Burton learn to ride center. -Also, very close to the Overlook Barn Beech Mountain has so much to offer and you'll be right in the center of everything! We're located within walking distance to the Beech Mountain Resort with seasonal mountain and slope views, minutes to numerous restaurants, bars, outdoor activities & one of our personal favorites, Fred's General Store. We have been going to Beech for the last 12 years and this house was one of the best that we have rented. Plenty of room for 2 or 3 families and the location is so close to everything.

We celebrated my 70th birthday here, with family for some snow tubing at Beech Mtn, of which you could see the slopes from the balcony. This house has everything you will need in a home away from home. The basement with foosball and basketball hoops were a hit with grandkids and us adults. Pool table and darts upstairs with a bar area in both areas. So, if you want a place for a large party, look no further. Jennifer, the owner, was great about communicating in a timely manner. A++.

Our family celebrated Thanksgiving at Beech Mt. We enjoyed ice skating at Snow Mt. and on Saturday before heading home, we cut down Christmas trees at Clawson Tree Farm.
Cutting down our tree in the mountains has been a tradition for us for 34 years. We might be adding Thanksgiving in the mts. to it! Enjoyed your place immensely. It felt like home away from home. The grandchildren loved the blackboard wall!!

This house was perfect for our family to stay for a long weekend. It had everything we needed, was neat and clean and a well stocked kitchen with many cooking utensils. It is very close to ski slopes if you are looking to ski. The owners were very nice, great communication and worked with us with several situations! You won't be disappointed if you book this house!

This was a very nice and well kept property. Had fantastic amenities in every single bedroom. The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the fireplace worked perfectly... It had everything we needed to accommodate four couples and we did not feel cramped at all. Cannot recommend this property enough!

This place was amazing. The host was super friendly and responsive. This place was especially good for kids. There were a ton of games and activities like mini basketball, Foosball, and video games.
The kitchen is very well stocked. There are 3 floors so we were able to spread out at night. I would definitely stay here again!

Rented this for a family trip of 8 adults and 2 preschool age children. Absolutely loved the house and area. The house has everything you need, plenty of space (3 stories, 3 hangout areas, 2 decks), comfortable beds. We were there in the summer and found plenty to do in the area. Overall an excellent place that I'd be happy to return to.

Celebrated my birthday there with my sons, daughter in laws and grandchildren. We each had our own rooms and space. But we also had a wonderful time in the living room. Cooked all our meals there but one. Kitchen well equipped. Games, movies, pool, and kids loved big chalk board. Jennifer was very accommodating and very personable. She made everything so easy. Plan on returning next year! Well worth the trip. Loved the snow too!

A few years ago we decided to start a new family tradition of skiing and Beech Mountain has become our destination of choice. This by far has been our favorite place to stay! The house was perfect for our large family of 9! The home was spacious enough for us to spread out when needed, but also cozy and warm. We were able to walk to the ski resort, even though it’s a bit tricky in ski boots, and even walked up to the village for the Christmas Parade! The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking and baking, beds were super comfortable, and all enjoyed the pool table and foosball table along with the chalk wall (lots of tic-tac-toe!) The only thing we felt there could have been more of were kitchen towels and dishcloths as there were only two total that we could find. Thank you for offering your beautiful home! We had a fantastic stay and hope to come back next year!

This was an excellent house and communications with the owner were excellent. However, the managing company that is used for check in, etc. is way below expectations. Did not provide us a code for entry and when contacted, it was the next morning before I received any communication back from them. Luckily the owner answered by call and was able to provide us her personal number.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed this property and all of the amenities. It was very well stocked and extraordinary attention to detail – we wanted for nothing. Although we did not travel with any children I would certainly recommend the property if you have children, as they are where many activities and spaces for kids to be comfortable.

Our family of 10 had the most wonderful vacation thanks to Jen! The house had every amenity you can think of for a large group and it was 2 minutes to Beech Mountain. We will definitely come back to stay again!

This house was fantastic! The photos were good but it's much better in person. The weather wasn't great with our stay but the house made for a great retreat area. Very well equipped and very nice. Everything was clean, comfortable and ready to go. Plenty of room for the family to spread out and do their own thing. It's very comfortable and homey, book it now! We will definitely visit again.

This beautiful property was perfect for our family ski vacation. Plenty of room for our adult kids to spread out and relax. The pool table was a big hit. Before we arrived, Jennifer called concerning an issue with the home. All was repaired before we arrived. This property is in a great location, the owner is very responsive. This was the most amazing house. It was everything you could imagine and more. The house was perfect. We had 6 adults, 11 year old, 4 year old and a 6 month old. There was plenty of room and the layout great. You never felt crowded. It had everything you needed and more. The hosts were so gracious. They provided so much information that was helpful. The location was perfect. We were able to go back and forth to the slopes very easy with kids. We will definitely come here again. Thank you Jen!

Awesome Thanksgiving Family Gathering
My family of 11 gathered at this home to celebrate Thanksgiving 2021. The accommodations were perfect. Unfortunately too cold to enjoy the gas fire pit/table on deck. Kids old and young enjoyed the games, especially the pool table. Beds were very comfortable. Fun was had by all.....I highly recommend this rental and hope to get to rent it again in the future.
