This charming house has private beach access in addition to a private fite pit area directly next to the beach. Wonderful ocean and beach views abound from the living room, kitchen and dining areas, in addition to two of the bedrooms. Our newly remodeled kitchen comes equipped for 8 guests and features european styling, stainless steel appliances, side by side refrigerator with icemaker, integrated dishwasher, all surrounded by Pratt & Larson tile. You'll be thrilled with this well equipped kitchen. Both kitchen and dining areas have big views of the ocean, in addition to a large sliding door leading to a huge deck overlooking the grassy yard perfect for a quick game of volleyball or croquet and the beautiful, 7 mile Manzanita beach. One step up from the kitchen is the semi-private livingroom - which means one can escape there to kick back and read a book or watch a show on the HD TV while overlooking tne unparelled view of the beach. Or light a fire in the big, wood burning fireplace, sit back and enjoy the full westward oceanview and the full southern view down the beach, all the way to Rockaway! Across from the living room you'll find the master bedroom suite, complete with a generous pillowtop king bed, private deck view for your morning coffee, and private bathroom with european fixtures and large shower featuring Pratt & Larson tile and huge Hansgrohe Rainshower. You'll find two more bedrooms at the north end of the house. The western bedroom also features a generous king bed with private sliding door to the deck overlooking the beach, and one of the best views on the coast! The third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds (suitable for teens and younger). Next to the bedrooms is a second bathroom with european fixtures, fanciful Pratt & Larson custom tile, and a warm shower to greet you after a day of searching through the tidepools. The house comes with quality furnishings and bedding, in addition to high count 100% cotton linens, ensuring your comfort at our Charming Oceanfront House with Fabulous Views! Note: Guest is required to sign a Rental Agreement for your stay.

Nice, clean, well stocked and best of all right on the beach! Our family loved the layout with master on separate side of house from other bedrooms. Mattresses very comfy, nicely updated furniture. We will be back!!

This house is gorgeous and the location is hard to beat! We had some friends visiting from Colorado and wanted to show them the OR coast and stayed here for one night and everyone loved it.
PLEASE NOTE:
1. This house is through another rental company. By renting through VRBO, they tack on an additional processing fee that isn't communicated in the quote the owner sends over.
2. I was very annoyed that this house is listed as pet-friendly but after signing the rental agreement, they charged us a large pet fee for one dog. We stayed here ONE night, had a large cleaning fee, a large pet fee AND these were the pet details sent to me:
You have permission to bring one pet on the premises. You are responsible for the following:
"- please bring your own towels to wipe off your wet pet and clean muddy feet before entering the house.
- pets must be kept off all furniture, without exception, including beds.
- there are no pet food or water bowls at the house; please bring your own.
- if you think your pet will be wet or dirty, and rub against the furniture, please bring coverings for the sofa, etc.
- all pet droppings must be picked up and deposited in the garbage can. We do not provide poop bags."
This is the most anti-pet pet-friendly listing I've ever seen. The house description should DEFINITELY include this information and the pet fee or stop allowing pets altogether.

I rent vacation homes A LOT. What I find makes a great rental is a home that provides the creature comforts we all enjoy and doesn’t go cheap on the little things. This home falls short there. The toaster is cheap and won’t even hold two regular sized slices of bread. The can opener would not even open a can. There was no tinfoil, coffee grinder, pepper, or plastic wrap. No beach towels provided, and although this was mentioned in the listing, I find it to be less than ideal for a beach house. No rugs in the kitchen or any decor on the walls to make the space feel more welcoming. The lights in the kitchen were way too harsh with no way to provide soft lighting. The kitchen table is cheap and provides no cushions for seating. The windows are covered with cheap plastic blinds. There are no rugs to wipe your feet on by the front door or glass door. The windows and glass door need to be cleaned after every rental as this is an oceanfront home.
On the positive side, the beds are extremely comfortable and the living room is nice. The outdoor fire pit and seating area is very nice as well. However, given the price point, I would not rent this home again, unless more were invested in these important details.

Comfortable beds, great fireplace. Good lamps for reading. Bring your slippers —the tile can be a little cold in the morning. It snowed during our stay but we were cozy inside. Will be back.

We enjoyed the cottage, the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen dining area was adequate for the 4 of us, we had a puzzle on one end of the kitchen table and dined on the other end. The family room was great, we could see the ocean from the couch which was really comfy to sit on too. Beach access is questionable, we just walked down the road a bit to gain access that we did not have to traverse over rocks to get down on the beach.

The property was clean and well stocked. High quality dishes, bedding, linens. One mobility note - there is a significant step up to the living room/tv room. This could be an issue for someone with disabilities. We thought it was one level. My father has some mobility issues. We were able to make it work but it was a surprise and I was nervous the first night. Beds were exceptional. This would be an excellent choice for 2 active couples. Or 2 single adults traveling together. Bunk beds for kids but I could see this as quite enjoyable for active adults. Everything you need. Active folks could walk along beach to the little town. We went off season so not a lot open but we brought our own food to eat in. We didn’t use the fireplace but would be quite cozy. I would recommend this property.

This was such a cute house for our family of five to stay in. It was so close to the beach and the deck had a beautiful view of the ocean. The house was clean and well equipped.

We stayed with three kids and a dog at this lovely cottage. The cottage, yard and beach were all phenomenal. The cottage is very comfortable and well appointed. The location is great - privacy, immediate beach access and a lovely 1 mile walk into town. We will be back!

Really enjoyed our stay at The Cottage. Location was perfect and views out the windows were fantastic. The Cottage was very comfortable and provided a relaxing experience. Would love to come back in the summer to take advantage of the outdoor deck, lawn and firepit area.

Wonderful place truly right on the beach, a nice cozy cottage with a lot of outdoor space, and an actual real fireplace in the family living room. Great for us in the winter-time, but I would imagine a wonderful setting for spring and summer.

We had a perfect stay at this Manzanita Beach House located right on the ocean. This was our 2nd visit to Manzanita and we much preferred being right on the beach. The house had everything we needed and the host was responsive to all of our needs. We will definitely be back!

We had a perfect stay at this Manzanita Beach House located right on the ocean. This was our 2nd visit to Manzanita and we much preferred being right on the beach. The house had everything we needed and the host was responsive to all of our needs. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful 3 day weekend on Neahkahnie Beach. The cottage is located on a quiet street and at the end of the beach. Nice large yard for for our dogs. I would definitely stay here again.

The home and oceanfront location were exactly as described. This was the perfect place to get away, enjoy a cozy cabin, gorgeous skies and long beach walks, and feel completely safe and free from worries. Best ocean vacation EVER!

It was a very comfortable retreat...with a lovely view. Two adults stayed at the house which was perfect...a cozy bedroom for each person. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, and living room was homey! A nice outside fire ended our last evening.
