The room was spacious, the bathroom had a gorgeous shower that my 6’7” husband could stand UNDER, and the staff was very helpful. The only complaint was that the bed was a little soft for our liking.

The location is good and the parking situation is very good. The breakfast room is pleasant and adequately stocked, with exceptional service. The rooms are very old dated. Our bathroom sink was inside the room. There was no closet, just a rack with a few cheap hangers. The portable fridge leaked. The bathroom was cold with an annoying fan and poor lighting. The rooms need to be renovated to adhere to modern standards. My friend stayed 4 days and moved 3 times and said all of the rooms in every building are equally unacceptable.

This was my first time staying at Grant Street Inn and I loved it. The location and facilities are great. Most of all, the staff was wonderful. The breakfast is amazing, too!

The place was really cute and is in a great location. The staff was all very friendly. Coffee, tea and hot cocoa out all day long. I also used the fitness room and liked it. My only complaint is that the bed and pillows were a little too hard for my liking. I also wish that housekeeping would have come to take out my trash at least once while I was staying, but housekeeping never came over my stay (not a huge deal since I was only there 2 days/3 nights). Otherwise, I would stay again and would recommend it to others

We have stayed there several times over the past few years. Love the location, but a lot of variation in rooms & beds. Also, the breakfast isn't nearly as good as it was in the past. Missing simple item sand normal breakfast fare.

From the cheerful greeting on arrival, through friendly service at breakfast every interaction with the staff was a delight. The location is convenient, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. I would stay here every time I come to town

Great location walkable to campus and many restaurants. Easy and professional check in even though it was late. Big room that was quiet and well appointed. Nice breakfast and even hard copy NYTimes Sunday paper available - multiple copies! Old school in a good way!

Great place to stay. Since it’s an old house, it’s a bit noisy. You can hear everything in the adjoining rooms and common area. Other than that, it was awesome.

Sink into a welcoming, immaculately kept charming experience. I was warmly greeted and enjoyed how everywhere I looked there was attention to detail. I felt like I was a guest of very gracious hospitable host; the decor, luxurious bedding, thoughtfully equipped bath, delicious breakfast. Yes, there was fast wifi, good lighting, available electric plugs but no, you won't find a mini fridge or microwave or work desk -- and isn't that nice for a change? I want to ho back to Bloomington just to stay at the Grant Street Inn.

If you are looking for a nice and quiet stay in Bloomington, this is your spot. The property is lovely and the place was spotless. On-site parking was convenient. The property is in a great location, just a short walk away from Bloomington's wonderful and varied restaurants. Check out the wide variety of unique boutiques and shops as well. Of course, the Indiana University campus is a short walk away and offers great architecture and green space to enjoy.The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the chorizo brat, hashbrown casserole and a cornbread egg scramble. Other items were available for breakfast like hot oatmeal (with various dried fruits, nuts, seeds to add), breads and bagels, a wonderful carrot cake coffee cake with a cream cheese frosting, cold cereals, and yogurt. The coffee was hot and fresh. Orange juice was also available. Although the furniture in our room could use some updating, it met our needs. The only negative thing about our room was that the bathroom was very cold, so we had to leave the door open, again, not a big deal. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at the Grant Inn was very nice! The breakfast and service was excellent, best breakfast at an overnight in a long time. The Inn is charming and a perfect location to enjoy being close to IU. Our room was comfortable and spacious but the bed was uneven on one side, made it feel like you could roll off. The shower trickled out with barely any pressure. Enough to get the job done but could be just the age and infrastructure of the building. There are multiple buildings and that is the one thing we would request for in the future is a room with better pressure. It would also be helpful to change out one or two of the outlets to add a USB charger plug as well, we’ve gotten spoiled by having that at most stays and that would be a nice update. Other than that we would definitely stay again! No long hallways for late night kids running up and down lol.

The property was nice and clean. The staff was very helpful. The food was delicious. The room was cold! Not sure what was going on with the heat in the rooms but it was very cold! Management was aware of it after we heard another room had the same problem.

The Grant Street Inn was quaint, well-located, and staffed by warm, helpful people. The breakfast was wonderful. Our only concern was how dark and dated our room was. It really needs to be updated. In addition, the sofa bed was terribly bumpy and uncomfortable. You could feel all the wires in your back.

Liz was fantastic when we checked in. She was very helpful with helping us with suggestions of places to eat and shop at. The place was extremely clean and the history of the house was awesome. We will stay there again.

The facility was old but beautifully kept and had more of a historic feel. Very clean and service was wonderful. Location was within 2-3 block walking distance to anything I wanted to do within the Univercity area.

Grant Street in has a wonderful location, very nice quiet ambiance and I have stayed here for many years. I am sorry to say the it has become tired and needs some serious refreshing! The location overcomes the sub par condition of the property but management needs to update before that is not enough for me for sure

Grant street Inn is very quaint and beautifully decorated. The staff is very very friendly. Great location if you are in Bloomington to visit the IU campus. The floors in my room were very creaky. It was annoying after some time. Wish they could fix the creaky floors. Will definitely stay here again

Checkin was easy! Super nice staff! We stayed in the main house, it’s an older Victorian home. Our room was on the second floor, so carrying luggage up a flight was a chore. Room could use a little updating, but a nice place to stay! Breakfast was delicious, snacks in the afternoon, walkable to campus and downtown!

Delightful accomodations. Somewhat dated, but that's part of the charm. Bathroom clean and uptodate. Only recommendation: in Annex 315, it would be nice to have access to a microwave in the lobby, where the icemaker is. Other than, just can't beat it for charm and location.

We just love staying at the Grant Street Inn! All the rooms are different but each is unique. All the staff are helpful and friendly...especially the lady who helped us with breakfast!
