Room smelled like cigarettes and dog. Room was clean in appearance but definitely been used well. All in all, not a bad room for price and what we needed.

The showerhead popped off when I turned the water on. I took forever to get it put back on had to make it myself because I needed to take a shower. I was in a hurry and undressed and did not want to call and wait for maintenance so I fixed it myself, but it took forever to get hot water. Also also smelled like pot smoke. And the bed was not comfortable at all

My day was pretty basic. I work a lot so I was not at the hotel except to sleep and then get up and go back to work. The service was above average. The gentleman that checked me in was extremely nice and welcoming. The condition of the hotel is not the best and I understand that due to the situation here in Portland, there are, some not so typical guests at times so I don’t hold that against the hotel. I do however feel that Management could do a better job controlling people smoking right outside the door and better control or better engage individuals who are loud and obnoxious to give other guests, a better experience .

Went with family tired from travel, two hour late check in, one room smelled like wet dog and pet urine for the two days. Tried Clorox wipes, didn’t help. Very disappointing.

The check in was smooth and the gentlemen at the desk was polite. However, the second day the young lady at the desk was horrible. It was our first time staying at this chain of hotels and we had no idea how housekeeping worked (we decided to stay there because of the location but immediately regretted it.) I simply asked if we could get clean towels and the trash picked up from the hallway. The lady said we had to take our dirty towels to the reception and exchange them for clean ones. As for the trash, she replied with an attitude "we dont have personnel 24 hours to pick up your trash." Never again...stay only if you really need to.

Once we got past the smell, the uncleanliness, the load and rowdy neighbors, we made it our room and began to setup for the night. After pulling out the sofa bed, my son refused to sleep on it because it was filthy and in extremely poor shape. We were able to switch to a different room with an actual bed he could use. The “grab and go” breakfast is a joke. Coffee was empty, decaf is instant, and hot water ran out while trying to make instant oatmeal. There are muffins, but no fruit, toast, or anything else that may resemble breakfast.

This is just my experience, but I was on a business trip and knew I would arrive quite late around 2am. Unfortunately, due to a severe snow storm my in time became 3:30am. Tim, who was at the desk when I checked in told me that a noon checkout instead of the normal 11am would be alright and if I stayed any hour after it would be $10 per hour. Grateful, I accepted the noon checkout. Walking through the halls to my room. There were rolled up carpet pieces and ladders. The halls smelled like old cigarette smoke amd there were several rooms that had very disruptive people causing commotion in their rooms. Yelling and screaming matches were heard all night and into the morning. When I entered my room, the smoke smell worsened and my allergies kicked in for a restless sleep. (I did not request a smoke free room or expect it but this was a bit out of normal wear and tear after a cleaning). The bathtub was full of short black hairs and the shower curtain had mold on the bottom. I woke up to housekeeping trying to get into my room at three separte occasions. Between the hours of 10am and 11:30am. Not sure why two of these times would be before a regular checkout time but it was very inconsiderate to scare me awake after I had thought I settled the late checkout and I thought it may have been other guests breaking in. When I left, I gave my feedback and I hope that their communication breakdown improves, that they clean the halls and rooms better and the smoke smell.
