Located in Miramar Beach, this lovely condo for $349 per night is a great option for your next trip. Newly renovated!!! This condo has undergone a complete remodel including new granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms and new Black Stainless Steel appliances in the kitchen. It is a wonderful 1072 sq ft condo in the A building with unobstructed beach views from the living room. The 8th (803) floor view is perfect, high enough to get away from the ground noise but still close enough to get perfect views of the beach activity. Sunrises and sunsets will take your breath away. This condo has it all. Plenty of space, comfortable sleeping arrangements, full kitchen and a stackable washer and dryer in the unit. Enjoy the indoor/outdoor pools, jacuzzi tubs and fitness center. A very nice walking trail passes right through the Majestic Sun property so you can enjoy some outdoor walking or running when you get tired of the treadmill. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom with a 42" flatscreen TV. The second bedroom is furnished with two double beds and also has a 42" flatscreen TV. The living room is comfortably furnished with a nice couch, loveseat and a 55" flatscreen TV with Blu-ray player. The couch opens up to a queen size bed for additional guests. Activities in the area are plentiful including Golf, Tennis, SCUBA diving and fishing. Destin has some of the best saltwater fishing in the country and a large charter fishing fleet. This condo requires weekly stays Spring Break and Summer.

Great location and view. Convenient parking. The bed was comfortable. However, the floors throughout the condo were dirty, not just sandy but flat out filthy. It was impossible to walk barefoot without the soles of our feet becoming black. This was surprising and disappointing because the rest of the condo seemed reasonably clean. Having a Keurig would have been nice. The 12 piece steak knife set just took up counter space.

The condo is listed as the ultimate family condo but it is not. There are some worn out board games but that is it. There are no extras in this condo. No child friendly plates, cups, etc. it’s hard to travel with toddlers when the only choices are glass cups or giant cups. The condo feels dated and worn out. The pans were badly worn. You have to hold the skillet on the stove the whole time to keep it flat. Beds hard, finishes coming off of the appliances and the non stick coming off of the pans. If you are flying in as we did, it is a hard place to stay. We are used to staying in places that have beach toys, or beach chairs, basic cleaning supplies like counter cleaner. I understand that it isn’t a full service hotel, but typically you stay at a condo to have some perks over a hotel. With a high end price this condo didn’t measure up with other majestic sun condos we’ve stayed in. Also, there are only 8 towels, so you have to wash towels daily but provide your own detergent. Enough towels for a stay need to be provided or detergent. The location of the condo is fabulous and it could be an awesome family spot but a few updates/additions need to be made so it can be genuinely list it as the ultimate family condo.

The property itself I enjoyed very much. I especially like the private parking. The dishes in the cupboard were still soaking wet I assume from being taking out of the dishwasher previously. The light in the refrigerator did not work. But none of these were a deal breaker. The most concerning issue was not being allowed in to the condo an hour and a half early in the middle of a horrible thunderstorm I even offered to pay money and was told no so even though we were standing at the door trying to get in with all of our belongings we had to get everything back to our vehicle and take shelter there. A little leeway would have been nice and courteous as we are all human beings. But these days business is business even though I did offer the business money. I say this in hopes of consideration maybe in the future for somebody else. This would still not stop me from returning.

We had a great stay at the condo. Pros - easy code access to condo and pool, Quick walk to the beach, easy access to food and drink spots nearby, Balcony views were amazing, most all amenities (pots, pans, cutlery, glasses, dinnerware) were there in the condo minus a couple Cons - cleanliness left a little to be desired, sheets looked as if there were a few small blood stains on them, tub in the master was not very clean, there was no smell of any cleaner that was used when we arrived in the restrooms or condo, one trash bag and no detergent for washing machine, bring your own For the most part, what was stated in the summary was there

This property was exactly as described and we enjoyed our stay very much. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The communication was good and we would stay here again in a heartbeat. The private parking spot was a great addition - we kept our beach stuff in the car instead of lugging up and down the elevators. Highly recommend- we had a great experience!

The view is definitely beautiful but our room was not the best. There were stains on the shower curtain and we had to keep plunging the drain in the tub after taking a shower. This property also doesn't have the complimentary beach chair service that other surrounding properties have. There is also no one at the concierge desk but the other properties nearby still have a concierge. Overall disappointing for the $$ it cost us. I won't be staying here again.

Positives: Great pool, great balcony views even though it is across the street from the beach. Negatives:Bed was hard on my back, very dirty dishes put away in cabinet, no ice maker, balcony door lock broken, no safety lock like dead bolt once you are in, lots of stairs if you have back hip or knee issues to get to the beach.

This was our second time staying at Majestic Sun condos. The area is nice but busy. You have to get to the beach early to pick your spot or you will be in the back. Our kids like the inflatables that you can pay for by the day. The room we were in was perfect for us. It had enough space and beds for everyone in our party. Upon our arrival there was still sand in the floor but wasn’t a big deal as I know sand is a given if you are at the beach. My biggest complaint of this room was that there wasn’t an ice maker in the fridge. It was very hot after we got our stuff brought up to the room and there was no ice for a cold drink. There were ice trays in the freezer but they were empty. We then had to go on the hunt for some ice so we could cool down. Overall this condo was nice and we would stay here again.

We love the area and purposely try to stay in Seacrest when we go. The view is phenomenal and location is perfect for stores and restaurants. This condo offered a great parking spot in the basement garage which made it very easy to just put our beach chairs etc. in the vehicle without having to constantly lug them up and down from the room. Everything was comfortable and stocked with all we needed for cooking. Personally I would upgrade to a Keurig coffee maker. The only issue we had was we were told the day before getting there that the dryer was not working, which is important to do laundry on a beach vacation. We were not offered anything for the inconvenience, and no attempt to fix it was made the whole week we were there. They have a broom, but no mop, which would have come in handy for spills. We had a great time and contact with management was easy. Would stay again.

This resort if fantastic. The view can not be beat. Waves out your balcony all day and plenty to do in the Miramar/Destin area. If you are looking for easy beach access with the best possible view this is it.We have stayed in this resort before and the price on this unit at this time of year was one of the best out there. The unit was up to par too. There were some minor things that need to be addressed in the unit but this issues were minor for our stay. The bathroom had 2 light bulbs that burnt out during our stay, there was a cracked face plate on the electric socket under the counter that would pop off if you used that socket (our son plugged his laptop in there) and the screen door to the outside didn't slide clean but for those of you that have a screen door at home you know that they always seem to have issues every year or so. None of these minor issues affected our stay but its the only "ding" I would give to the unit and our vacation. The cabinets were well stocked with an abundance of cups and plates and dishes for any occasion. A blender, a toaster oven, a full sized coffee maker and plenty of silverware made it easy for us to have meals in the room and fill the dishwasher and still have kitchenware left for the next meal. We will certainly check back to this listing for future visits to the area!!
