About this condo rental
Located in Folly Beach, this charming condo for $462 per night is a great option for your next break. The City of Folly Beach has scheduled beach renourishment for this spring. The project will start at the West end of the island at the county park progressing towards the pier in blocks. The completion is slated for August. While this is welcomed news given the recent erosion from storms and high tides, we realize the potential for disruption based on the project’s timing. We are committed to ensuring your vacation experience remains enjoyable. While most of the beach will remain publicly accessible during the construction, there is a possibility that certain sections of the beach, typically about 500 feet at a time, may be temporarily closed off. The active work area moves every 5 to 7 days on average. Due to so many external factors, we have no way to predict an accurate timeline for when the project will be at any given location. However, if we anticipate in advance that the project may affect your stay, we will be reaching out to you. In the small chance the project directly affects your beachfront vacation, we will work closely with you to discuss options. **According to current pacing and projections of the renourishment project, we expect the project to be completed at Chas. Oceanfront Villas by mid June, barring any unexpected delays. If you’d like to enjoy a perfect day on the beach, or relax in comfort and style, you will find a perfect vacation at “Sea Folly”. Located at the only oceanfront condo building with TWO oceanfront pools, open seasonally from April 1- October 31, Charleston Oceanfront Villas #212 “Sea Folly” offers breathtaking views in the heart of Folly Beach. The interior of “Sea Folly” has been completely transformed by it’s new owners. The tile floor throughout the living, kitchen & dining area provides a chic atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Check out the historical Folly Beach pictures in the foyer to get a sense of what this special town is all about. The kitchen has been beautifully renovated with brand new cabinets, counter tops and new, stainless steel appliances. The dining area has a fun shell light fixture to illuminate the large dining table with seating for six. A high top table and two bar chairs next to the window are perfect for sipping coffee or eating breakfast before heading out to the beach. The living space in “Sea Folly” is gorgeous with an extra large sofa, which transforms into an extra bed for guests, a flat screen television and wonderful art work The master bedroom suite has a king sized bed and beautifully renovated walk in shower. One of the guest bedrooms contains a California king sized bed and an updated bathroom. The twin bedroom has it’s own bathroom that also shares access with the hallway. Soak in the coastal breeze or Carolina sun from your expansive oceanfront balcony or from two oceanfront pools hugging the Charleston Coast. Wander the sandy beaches of Folly Beach or stroll the local shops on Center St., just steps from your villa. Visit the Folly Beach Fishing Pier to try your luck for some fresh sea fare. No bites? NO problem. Gather the group and head to the funky and fun “downtown” Folly for a great local dinner or live music and dancing. Visit the island park with a playground or watch the sailboats cruise by from the Folly River dock. Visiting historic Charleston for the day? Walk the Charleston Battery, explore the Market, picnic at Waterfront Park, or take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the Holy City. If there is time, visit an antebellum mansion or Plantation, adventure to the Aquarium, stop at a local hot spot to catch the latest Charleston gossip, or take a sunset cruise in Charleston Harbor. Shopping, restaurants, and entertainment of Center Street, Folly Beach’s downtown area are all a short walk from “Sea Folly”. My family and I loved the location and the beach was beautiful! Walking distance from restaurants and shops. The condo was cleaned and beautifully decorated, Kitchen was fully stocked and the set up was perfect for our family. My favorite part was the large balcony overlooking the ocean.

This condo was close to perfection. The kitchen was well equipped with quality cookware, appliances and kitchen tools. Hands down, it was the best kitchen I’ve seen in a vacation rental. All the beds were comfy, as was the seating in the living room. The living room had a sleeper sofa making it not quite as comfortable as the loveseat, but that is to be expected. The beach decor was nice and not too kitschy.
I was traveling with my 89 year old mother and was pleased that all the bathrooms had taller height toilets and grab bars in each of the showers. She enjoyed sitting on the balcony to read, listen to the ocean and enjoy the amazing oceanfront view. When we were leaving, my mother said “I would stay here again.” That is a resounding endorsement!

The condo area at Folly Beach was a great set up for the location when visiting the beach, downtown Charleston, Yorktown, and Sullivan’s island! Walking distance to many shops and restaurants!

We took our daughters and a friend to Folly Beach for a birthday trip and to visit the College of Charleston. The condo was beautiful and the proximity to Charleston made it perfect! We absolutely loved Charleston and driving into the city once or twice a day was no problem because it was so close. We also loved Folly Beach and this condo is close enough you can walk to everything. Management was also very responsive when needed and great to work with! We will be back!!!!

Amazing location on Folly Beach!
We met one of our favorite couples in Folly Beach, bringing both of our little kids with us (2yo and 10mo). The condo itself is as described—we found the large patio and kitchen table ideal for all of us to hang out and enjoy. The beds were also really comfortable, which is not a guarantee when you stay someplace! Our only complaints are minor and wouldn't prevent us from staying here again. When we arrived, the floors were sopping wet...I had to use a towel to actually dry the floors. The hair dryer in the beachside bedroom was broken, and we didn't have any paper towels.

We booked this trip three months ago easily on the VRBO site. Very smooth, contactless check-in. Beautiful condo and beautiful view. Good vibe. Plenty of balcony seating for the family. Comfortable Down couches in the living room, tv’s in all 3 bedrooms . Walking distance to Folly Beach restaurants and shops. Perfect for all ages and VERY VERY casual if you don’t want to get fancy! Anything goes. Perfect for all meals home or some in , some out. Harris Teeters and Publix very close. We ate at quite a few Folly Beach establishments Including wiki wiki, Taco boy, Rita’s, and Blu hotel to name a few. Lots of action across the street at Loggerheads beach grill- a fun spot with live music outdoors on the weekend. Missed out on the Lost Dog for breakfast but we will be back. Frose (wine slushy) was great at the corner pastry and coffee shop (Scones were amazing also). Mr. John’s saved the day with a skimboard!
My husband and son caught a shark on his birthday aboard Write Off the Rip charters with Capt. Will -Inshore 1/2 day charter.
We explored downtown Charleston and experienced some cool restaurants such as 5 Church and Leon’s (both totally different). Cool market spot for shopping (flea market style). Charleston is amazing and clean. Lots to see and do.
Washer /Dryer in condo a huge bonus! And the beach gear credit is legitimate when you see the offer pop up in your email box. Even if you utilize the full credit without adding extras you only pay $25 for delivery to your door (ready and waiting for your 1st beach day). They pick up as well on the last day). Our minivan days are over so this was very helpful.
Most importantly the BEACH! Warm beautiful water. The condo makes it convenient being steps away to the sand and you have the view 24/7 from your room! Bring your own garbage bags down to the beach because they don’t have waste baskets situated on the beach.
As for my only “unit” complaint ..the sliding door off the main living room is hard to open. The management office offered to have it looked at but it meant taking the door off- we passed. You also have a sliding door to the balcony in master bedroom ..another bonus. NO A/C issues at all.
Renting bikes next time for sure!

Beautiful condo with a beautiful view. Within walking distance to everything. Great restaurant right across the parking lot that had great burgers! Unit was very clean and check in and out was so easy. Pool area was maintained and clean as well. Definitely will stay here again in the future.

Best condo on Folly
We’ve stayed several times at Folly Beach and this was the best, most comfortable condo we’ve stayed in. It felt like home away from home. So beautiful and clean and newly renovated. We got sad news from home and had to leave a couple days early But we’re glad we had the comfort of this condo. Thank you!
