About this condo rental
Located in Mammoth Lakes, this attractive condo for $185 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This luxurious 2 bedroom lower level condo has all the features you need to make yourself at home while enjoying everything Mammoth has to offer! Master bedroom has a king bed, large closet, attached bath, 37inch LED TV and DVD player. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans and lights to provide improved air circulation and lighting. Night bed stands also have lamps and alarm clocks. The comfortable and fully stocked kitchen opens up to the living and dining areas and features gorgeous cabinetry, huge peninsula granite countertop which offers counter seating, and ample pantry space to accommodate your grocery supplies. The living room features a leather sofa sectional with recliner and queen sleeper bed (pic not updated), 45 inch LED HDTV mounted above the wood burning fireplace complimented by Free Showtime (channels 209-222), a DVD player and video library for viewing from the kitchen, dinning room and living room. Free firewood is located on the deck just outside the dinning room. The entrance has a sit down bench as well as storage for ski / fishing equipment. A small supply of games and books are provided for those rainy days. Horizons 4 Condominiums Resort features a year-round spa and dry sauna, seasonal heated pool (Memorial Day- Labor Day), a tennis court, and a recreational room with a pool table, ping-pong table, and arcade games. Centrally located in the middle of town, the town's free shuttle system is just steps from the condo or a you can walk to the Vons shopping center, several restaurants (our favorite is Roberto's), or the movie theater, in just a couple minutes! Our Condo home #165 is meticulously updated and cared for as if we are living there as we visit several times a year. Centrally located in the resort it is just across from the BBQs and picnic area under the pine trees and far enough away from the road for a quiet nights rest. Parking for two vehicles is just steps away from your door making it easy to unpack and start your vacation. We set nightly pricing based upon 4 guests with an additional guest charge of $10/nt greater than 4 to cover extra costs for linens and utilities. This home away from home is non-smoking. A $300 fine will be assessed for anyone smoking or bringing a pet within the unit. We hope that you will Enjoy your stay and come back year after year. Easily accessed, very clean, "as advertised". Water is very hot (a good thing). Stove cooks a bit strange. Temps may not be as high as set. Need to cook longer than expected. Knives REALLY need sharpening. Stayed in early Oct. (shoulder season) and parking was very easy. Only a few cars, most units empty. Many restaurants closed on Wed. Just not enough visitors to justify staying open. Still, for me, shoulder season is best. Great hiking, and no crowds.

The condo was ok for a short stay but definitely not a luxury condo. Very dated, worn carpet, older bathrooms and a smaller kitchen. Mostly clean, nice towels snd well located. Upstairs unit does interfere with peace and quiet at times. We had an ok stay but would not rent again.

The floor above us was paper thin and had kids running around from 8 - 11pm. One of the rooms had a pair of underwear and empty water bottles stuffed under the mattress.

Host was very responsive and friendly. King and queen beds very comfortable. Bunk bed is only suitable for young children. Kitchen is well equipped. Upstairs neighbors very loud. Condo was comfortable and clean.

Exceeded expectations! A great layout for a 2bd/2ba condo. Walking distance to Vons, The Stove, and a shuttle stop for Eagle Lodge. Lots of snow made parking a challenge, but we all made it work. Would stay again.

Love the place, its smaller that I thought but is really cozy and enough to enjoy your stay, they have everything that you’ll need.
Pros: very close to the town free shuttle (walking distance), and to the grocery store too (Vons), its a one level apartment so its very convenient if you have kids or older people traveling with you, the kitchen is well equipped.
Cons: the master room’s mattress is getting older, is not that comfortable but is good enough to rest, I definitely did.
During the weekend was hard to find parking close to the unit.
I definitely recommend the place, We love it and enjoyed our staying.

Good amount of sleeping arrangements on the property. Plenty of pots and pans for hooking up dinner.
Only complaint that I can add is that the front door could use an extra safety lock. All in all this was a great conferrable place for our trip.

We stayed three nights in this condo for our kids' spring break so they could ski one last time this season. The condo was perfect for what we needed. It was very clean and updated. It was darker than it appeared in the pictures but that did not affect our opinion of the property. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals during our stay. The condo is in a good location, walkable to Vons, and close to all the shuttle stops. We had a great time and would stay at this property again.

My family of 4 and my parents stayed in the condo. Met all of our expectations. My older son (13 y.o.) decided the couch was a better option than the top bunk. The bunk had a weight limit of 150 lbs posted and he said was noisy. But it seemed fine to me. Especially for a younger kid. Overall a nice condo. Only wish it had a smart TV.

Overall it was fine. A couple of points however. We couldn't get the tvs to work to save our lives. I didnt call the service company because that is not what i do on vacation.
Also, this is a downstairs unit and the noise from the unit above us was unbelievable. I thought they were going to fall through the ceiling (two diffferent rental parties).
Lastly, we bought and left a $20 dish drainer since there was none there.

This is our second time at Horizons 4 with Carl, love the location and everything you need is at the unit or just minutes walk away from the Vons shopping center. Our 2 little girls love playing in the snow right outside and fires in the wood stove!

The condo was just as advertised - very homey, clean, and nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed. Carl is great, very responsive. We really liked the location, very close to Vons and restaurants, and a short drive to Canyon Lodge.

The cabin was very clean and close to hiking trails and nice nature walks. Unfortunately we went for Thanksgiving but there was no snow but still enjoyed the cabin with long walks and enjoyed watching movies and board games which the cabin had plenty of. We were a family of 5, space was enough but the top bunk bed was wobbly so my son slept on the couch.

This was our first time visiting Mammoth. We found the management company that has the keys and parking permits easily. The condo's location is close to everything. There were 4 in our party, including two kids and two adults. The condo was the perfect size. It is quaint and cozy. We found the condo clean and had no concerns regarding the carpet (as I saw there were concerns noted by other reviews. ) We would stay here again if we come back up to Mammoth.

Carla’s place over all satisfied the needs of my family & I. It is simple looking yet perfect for a family get away. Not fancy or over the top by any means but it’s a home away from home. The condo is centrally located & we did feel safe & that was important because we had our 9yr old nephew with us. I liked that my nephew was able to sleep in the same room as my sister because one of the rooms had a bunk bed. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils & it was clean & the wood burning fireplace was delightful & had an old country vibe to it. Perfect for when the snow was falling outside:)
The carpet was stained though so we placed our own blankets over it to lay down & watch TV next to the fire but I did read that Carl will replace that eventually with hard wood floors. So that will be gone for the next visitors hopefully.
I will return to Carl’s place in the future because he was quick to respond to any issues we had. The maintenance men and on the property were really pleasant & respectful which is comforting.
I thank you Carl for giving my family & I an opportunity to get away & enjoy the mountains. We even celebrated my nephews birthday & he was very happy that you had his favorite DVD…Charlie & the Chocolate factory. So thank you Carl for being a wonderful host. I appreciate you having this place. I will certainly be back:)

The other reviews are correct Carl is great and responsive which makes the stay in his condo so easy and welcoming. The condo has a great open floor plan that allows space for adults and children to enjoy and not feel crammed. Walking distance to everything.. We enjoyed our stay!!!

Please update pictures on website. Overall cleanliness of unit was pretty bad. The carpet was horrible, wet and dirty, would recommend removing carpet for laminate flooring. Also, we were informed our checking time was 4pm, but were not allowed in the unit until after 5pm. Overall our stay, was okay but I would NOT agree with the condo being a "5 stars Luxury" unit in the least.

Love our stay at the Horizon. The location was great. Just a few minutes away from the supermarket. Easily ride our bicycles down the Mary Lake Road to the condo. The place was clean and has all the utensils..
