This two bedroom condo has a king bed in the master along with full bath, second bedroom offers two queens, and the living room provides a sleeper sofa. The Carolina Dunes is located in the prestigious Golden Mile section of Myrtle Beach, known for being centrally located to all the Myrtle Beach attractions, shopping, restaurants, entertainment and within walking distance of two restaurants, a bar and Starbucks! The Carolina Dunes also offers a Large outdoor pool and sunning deck with tables, umbrellas and chairs kiddie pool, courtyard, private walkway to the beach, outdoor showers, lobby, luggage carts, free wifi and onsite parking. - Luxury Linen package included! -4 beach chairs provided for our guests use. -This is a non smoking unit. Smoking permitted outside of condo. -No motorcycles, trailers, or pets allowed on the premises. -25% deposit to make a reservation and full payment due 30 days prior to arrival. -7 night minimum from Saturday to Saturday required in peak summer season and 3 night minimum outside summer season. -Pool heated October 1st - December 31st and March 1st to May 15th

My wife and I have vacationed in MB for over 40 years. We have stayed at Carolina Dunes the past several because we prefer it being a smaller complex - easy access to parking, elevators. The location is convenient to nice restaurants, walking as well as shopping for any daily needs. Condo 504 is our favorite. The unit is nicely maintained and furnished. We particularly enjoy the balcony. It is comfortable and allows us to relax as well as enjoy the view in all types of weather. The rental staff always does an excellent job in preparing the unit before arrival. It is a pleasure to stay here. Just as described!

We had a very enjoyable stay in this unit. Unit was nicely decorated, but like all Condos near the end of the busy season it could use a little touch up on the paint. The kitchen was wonderful, we didn’t use it much, but my wife loved everything about it. We will be back for our next visit to Myrtle Beach .

We are two couples who loved their updated rental with large rooms, a wonderful view, personal touches like games and puzzles for rainy days. The beds were comfy, the water was hot, we didn't have an issues with the appliances. We were very sad to leave. Plenty of room for group activities and alone time. Easy check in and out, professional and helpful management agents!!

This unit was very nice and up to date. The furniture and beds were all comfortable.A few items that need to be addressed:1. the toilet in the master bath is having issues flushing and the plunger in the back gets stuck thus not filling the tank up with water for the next flush.2. some kind of Wi-Fi needs to be provided. To use the open network that Carolina Dunes offers is completely unsafe, and it may have caused an intrusion on one of my family members phones already.

Carolina Dunes is an older building, and we were a little concerned when we got on the very shabby elevators to go up to our 5th floor unit. The foyer was very clean, but the luggage carts, while appreciated, were rickety, old and dirty. First impressions count. The grounds, parking lot and pool areas were all clean and nicely done.
We were very pleased with the condo. It was spotlessly clean, cool, spacious and very tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well appointed and there was a game closet with games, books and puzzles. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of extra linens and towels. The laundry closet was a small stackable unit and the dryer was tiny and kind of useless. Even after emptying the lint screen after each use, it didn't really get things dry. So if you pack lightly thinking you're going to do laundry - don't. We would have reported this - but who wants maintenance in their unit while on vacation? There was another closet packed full of beach supplies - chairs, buckets, toys, boogie boards. Much appreciated. One of the chairs was rusted shut, so when I texted the manager to let them know, they brought us a new chair within 30 minutes.
The location is perfect... the nicest part of Myrtle Beach in my opinion. Close to the nicer restaurants (such as Ruth's Cris) and higher end golf clubs (Grand Dunes), and it's just a few miles to the other touristy attractions. The ocean front balcony is spacious and has nice furniture. Would stay there again!

We reserved this unit for over a week and there was only a partial roll of toilet paper in each bathroom (no extra rolls provided), no spare garbage can liners and no extra paper towels. The carpet etc. is older and needs a little upgrading. There were a few minor mechanical issues (toilet seat loose and door knobs that wouldn’t lock/close). The view from the patio is awesome and the walk to the beach is one minute away, which was great. Not sure if it’s because of COVID, but this unit didn’t have any items of convenience (I.e) salt and pepper, cooking spices, etc., we had to buy all of those supplies.
OverallI we would consider renting this unit for another trip to Myrtle Beach with just a few minor improvements as mentioned above.

There was all day construction noise our entire stay. The weather was not nice, cold and rainy, so we stayed in more than we would have normally. The constant noise made it hard to enjoy the condo and the oceanfront balcony. It is obvious that the hoa (president of the hoa also owned the unit we were in) and management knew that these updates were going to be done during our stay and should have made us aware of that before our stay. For that reason I would be hesitant to rent from them again.

This spacious oceanfront unit was very clean and pleasantly decorated. It was perfect for our pre-holiday retreat. Being in the quieter area of Myrtle Beach and convenient to great restaurants, outlet and other shopping made it most enjoyable for us! This unit offers a king, a queen, a double and a hide-away bed along with two full baths. Our only disappointment was that the double bed is in need of a new mattress. We are already making plans to reserve this unit again next year.
