Nestled in Deep Creek Lake, this lovely house for $304 per night is a great choice for your next break. Prepare to be swept away by the majesty that is Overlook Point. Creature comforts surround you in the Great Room with expansive cathedral ceilings, bright open window and lustrous hardwood floors. Add in the addition of a cozy stone, gas fireplace, plush leather furnishings and a large flat screen TV and you will never want to leave! The open floor allows you to prepare fabulous feasts in the state of the art kitchen, complete with gorgeous granite countertops, as you mingle with friends and family. Continue down the hallway of the main level to a full bath and two bedrooms. While one offers a King sized bed and the other a Queen, both rooms boast exquisite decor, flat screen TVs, and ceiling fans. Finally enjoy the true essence of Overlook Point by stepping out onto the expansive deck. Phenomenal lake and mountains views embrace you, as you take in the peaceful setting surroundings and everyday stresses just melt away! Boasting a King sized bed, private bath, flat screen TV and serene wooded and lake views, the Primary Suite in the upper level is sure to please even the most discerning guests. The additional futon in the loft area is ideal for the younger ones in the group. the property is beautiful. The land and the view is stunning.
However ... the rental was not what was promised.
We were told linens were provided, for 10 people. Only 1 blanket in the whole property. So we gave that to my friend who had a baby with them. We didn't bring any, so we had to go to Walmart to buy one.
On the second day, we tried to get into the hot tub, the water level was super low and it wouldn't get above 62 degrees. We rented the cabin JUST for the hot tub. It wasn't fixed before we left the property. I felt cheated.
There was NO room to put a weeks worth of food for our family. We had to put everything on the counters and dining room table, which made it very cluttered, looked dirty and difficult to find items.
The home was not well kept. The sofa downstairs was broken, there was a spill stain on the wall in one of the bedrooms, looks like soda or coffee. One of the bedrooms had a huge cob web it looked like a shelf. Some of the pool sticks were broken. The ceiling fan looks like it has never been cleaned. The remote controls for the TV were corroded where the batteries go. It had snowed and the salt container for the walkway had little amount of salt so we bought our own.
Overall, we were not happy with our stay. We had plans to go out and then come back and enjoy the hot tub, that was our real disappointment. The cleaning crew for the property did not do a good job to prepare for our Christmas stay.

We had a fabulous time at this home. It is beautiful, plenty of room (there were 7 of us) and very well equipped. The view from the deck is gorgeous. It is on a quiet street, but within a 10-15 minute drive of most things you want to do. We had 5 teenage boys, and they especially loved the finished basement area with the pool table and sliding door to the hot tub!

Wonderful property!
This was my family's first fall cabin rental and we really did not know what to expect. We we were thoroughly impressed with the home and the property. The home was big, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed for some relaxing time with the family. We couldn't have asked for a better location. Our one and only disappointment was that the grill was not working properly and needs to be fixed or replaced. Other than that , my family really enjoyed our visit and we think you will too.

Only issue we had was the hot water heater was not turned on when we arrived and we did not realize it until the next morning when we all needed to shower. Otherwise we would definitely return to this area and unit!!
