Situated in Hilton Head Island, this charming villa for $518 per night is a great option for your next vacation. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! Desirable Captain's Cove community!!! Drive right up to this 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom townhome right across the street from the beach! If the beach isn’t your thing, we are also a short walk from the Palmetto Dunes Tennis and Pickleball Center, The General Store, The Palmetto Dunes Outfitters with bikes and water sport rentals, restaurants, and 3 world class golf courses. This villa is perfect for a couple or two to enjoy off season, or for a large group in the summer. The location and size also work great for group tennis or golf trips! Upon arrival you will be delighted to park right in front of our villa and walk up just a few steps to our front deck that has a tiny little peak of the ocean. The entry opens up into a large great room with beautiful lagoon views, and a kitchen that is stocked with everything you need! Stainless Steel appliances, a full-size commercial grade washer and dryer, and a sunny breakfast table complete this updated kitchen. Beautiful hardwood floors run throughout the entire first floor. Dining and Great Room: The spacious second dining area seats 6 comfortably and opens up to the great room. The entire space has a comfortable and relaxing vibe for your whole group to enjoy. A 65” smart TV and plenty of comfortable seating enhances the space as well, along with the great lagoon view! Living Space: Off the great room is a wonderful, bright Carolina room where you can enjoy watching the wildlife and passerby’s in the lagoon! Just off the Carolina room is a large deck with a few steps down to the grass. There is a charcoal grill area right out back as well as a dock. Feel free to bring your kayaks, or rent from the Palmetto Dunes Outfitters, and launch them right out back off the dock. If fishing is your thing, bring your gear! Bedrooms: There are 2 master suites downstairs. Both first floor masters have king sized beds and full bathrooms. The first master has an updated walk-in shower, and double sinks. The second master has also been updated, and offers a tub/shower combo. Upstairs there are 2 more bedrooms. The first bedroom is a spacious room with a queen-sized bed, and plenty of extra space for a port-a-crib or extra gear. The second bedroom has built in bunk beds and a separate twin-sized bed. Between the 2 bedrooms is a full bath with a walk-in shower. There is also a loft area upstairs with a desk. How far to the beach: Simply walk out the front door and across the street to the private beach access for the Captain’s Walk and Captain’s Cove villas. Pool: Enjoy the oceanfront Captain’s Cove/Captain’s Walk pool right across the street. A short 2-minute walk, and you are at the pool with adjacent beach access, in addition to outside showers and bathrooms. There are also gas grills located by the pool. The pool deck is open all year long and the pool is heated March 1- April 30, and October 1- November 30. About us: We purchased our Captain’s Cove in 2019 after owning a nearby 2-bedroom villa for many years. We are from Cincinnati, Ohio and travel to Hilton Head frequently. We love having all the extra space and find that it is not too large for just the two of us, yet plenty spacious when the kids and friends come to visit. The location is one of our favorite things about it, with the beach, tennis, golf and so many restaurants all being right around the corner! We expeciall love driving right up the front door! Pets: Not a pet friendly rental! However, off season, we will consider small non shedding dogs under 20 pounds for long term rentals. All pets would need to be pre-approved by the owner, or you could be asked to leave immediately if a pet is in our villa. The sunrise in the morning on the front deck, and the sunset in the evening on the back deck couldn’t be more peaceful to start and end your days. No matter what activities you chose, coming home to this very comfortable and spacious townhome on the beautiful lagoon will offer you all the comfort you need while on vacation. Palmetto Dunes collects $25.00 weekly for a car pass. This is not included in your rental price. We do not provide beach towels.

Stayed a full week with our adult kids and their spouses (some only stayed part of the week). The house was very clean and spacious enough to fit all seven of us comfortably. Everything worked as expected, including the [shared] charcoal grill in the back. Host was friendly and responsive via text. Walk to the beach was short and easy, even when carrying cooler, chairs, etc. Captain's Cove is inside Palmetto Dunes, a very nice neighborhood with lots of bike/walking paths, tennis and pickle ball courts, golf course, beautiful landscaping, and lots of shade trees. We played PB on two different mornings and the courts were in excellent condition. I recommend calling at 7:30am the day before to make PB reservations and then showing up 10-15 min before reservation time to check in. General store was a short walk away and was a convenient way to stock up on necessities like coffee and beer and also a good place for soft serve ice cream. We definitely plan to come back to Captain's Cove in the future!

Our family loved everything about this place! Great location with a very short walk to the beach and pool. Private beach area was not overcrowded. Perfect amount of space for 2 families including 4 young kids. Great selection of beach toys and kitchen amenities. We loved visiting the lagoon each day too. We used the gas grills by the pool which were very convenient and easy to use. All the beds were very comfortable and the kids loved the bunk room. Communication with the owner was excellent and they were diligent in ensuring we had all we needed. Highly recommend!

What a lovely time we had for our family vacation. The condo was as pictured and the location was fantastic — so close to the pool, the beach and all things Palmetto Dunes! Communication with the owners was great and we had zero issues of any kind. We would definitely stay here again!

Was very happy with the property. Very close to the beach, lots of available activities. The condo was nicely decorated with plenty of space for all 7 of us. We could all eat together at one table & kitchen large enough for several people to work together at one time. Plenty of kitchen supplies & baking equipment. Only complaint

Phenomenal 5 star property and location! Conveniently located at the front of Palmetto Dunes! Three min walk to the beach and pool. Immaculate property! You could eat off the floor when we arrived! Five star amenities! Very nice kitchen, furniture, bathroom towels, laundry, beds, lines etc TV's in all the rooms. Perfect set up for families! The upstairs is like a little teen getaway. Our kids loved their own space. Backyard has beautiful pond with fish and room to kayak etc. We liked the rental so much we booked next year already! Total 5 star experience!

Decided on an earlier than normal trip to HHI (April 29-May 6) and the weather was perfect! Sunshine and 75-80 degrees for 6 of our 7 days.
Amy and Jeff were great hosts and the condo was supplied with just about everything you'd need for a week at the beach.
The decor is attractive and comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans and bakeware. The closets had loads of hangers plus extra pillows and blankets. The outdoor storage closet had 6+ beach chairs plus a large assortment of beach toys for castle building.
There is outdoor furniture on the front porch and back deck AND you are a two minute walk to the beach!
There is a pool at Captain's Walk with lots of lounge seating. It's a few minute walk to the tennis/pickleball courts. Palmetto Dunes is located close to grocery and retail shopping and local restaurants are abundant. (Island Bagels gets five stars for breakfast from us!)

We had a wonderful weeks stay at this property. Close to everything you could want-walking distance to the beach and private heated pool. The home itself was clean and spacious. The kitchen is stocked with everything that you may need to cook a feast! We were traveling with a baby and had ample space for all our equipment. Close to the grocery store, shopping, restaurants, golf, renting bikes and gorgeous walks on the beach. Amy was wonderful to communicate with and easy to reach by text. Don't hesitate in booking this property-you will not be disappointed!

This has to be one of the best properties and some of the best owners around. Our stay was blissful and so easy - the owners were incredibly communicative, the property was spotless and had the most wonderful amenities. It was a short and beautiful walk to the beach and the pool, and the lagoon in the back was the perfect place to spot wildlife. HIGHLY recommend!

You simply cannot go wrong by choosing this rental. It’s large, incredibly stocked, beautifully furnished, and so close to the beach and pool at Captain’s Walk. The lagoon behind the unit kept us entertained with gator, fish, and heron sightings. The grass is lush all the up to the lagoon, quite unusual for a lot of other lagoon front properties. The Sattlers’ have made sure your time in 499 Captain’s Cove will be the best.

The owners were really great as far as early communication, clear instructions and checking in with us during the stay. The home is in a great location with access to the lagoon for fishing and watching wildlife, the pool and beach were very close to make trips back for food, ice, etc. whenever you wanted it was that close. The area was very well kept, family friendly with plenty to do. Really recommend the lagoon fishing charter at the outfitters right up the road, we walked there and had a blast fishing in the lagoon with a great guide. Looking forward to our next trip already.

This was our first time staying here. The size of the property may look smaller from the outside, but that is deceiving. Once you walk in, you quickly see how nice it is and how much space you have. We had a total of 6 adults, 2 kids, 1 toddler and 1 baby and everyone was happy.
Everything was clean and well maintained. The beds were all extremely comfortable.
Right outside the back porch is a lagoon, which adds to the experience. It is a short walk across the street to the shares pool and to the ocean, but not a long walk at all and very doable.
The owners are super nice and helpful. They were quick to respond to questions and made sure all went well.
I’d highly recommend this location to anyone looking.

We loved the proximity to the beach! This home was super clean, and allowed room for our family of 5 to spread out. We spent time fishing in the lagoon and many hours at the beautiful beach just across the street! We also took advantage of HH Outfitters for Surf Lessons and Kayaks. We've been coming to HHI for decades and have always stayed on the beach. This villa is located just off the beach on a lagoon. The peacefulness of the lagoon setting is the best kept secret on HHI. We loved starting and ending our days on the lagoon facing deck. We rented kayaks for the week and launched them from the property. What a treat. The updated villa is spacious, comfortable and came equipped with everything we needed. Palmetto Dunes is beautiful. We biked, ran and hit the beach and pool. Our entire family commented that they'd love to stay there again. We can't end this review without commenting on how great the hosts were to work with. They stayed in touch with us before, during and after our stay and even helped us recover some items that were accidentally left behind. Make your reservations now! You won't be disappointed.,

We will definitely be renting this property again! The condo was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked for being able to cook and bake. The owners were fabulous with checkimg in to make sure we had everything we needed. They allowed us to check in early also, and let us know when the cleaning was complete. We had our 4 year old and a 22 month old with us and I didn't feel worried that this property wasn't toddler friendly. Thank you for such a wonderful vacation for our family!

The condo was exactly as advertised. Very clean and nicely decorated on the inside. The outside was immaculate as well. The entire family enjoyed sitting outside on the deck in the back. We viewed numerous types of birds and other ground animals. The beach is a very short walk from the condo and the entire family enjoyed riding the waves. The pool area is also very nice. Amy was the perfect host and was always available to answer questions. Thanks for a wonderful family vacation! We created many cherished memories!

We were a group of four friends (originally thought eight were coming, but...life happens) coming to the island for a week. We'd never stayed in Captains Cove before but we love being on the lagoon and so close to the beach and the Omni pool bar. The villa is plenty large enough for a bigger group with two generously sized living areas, great front and back decks, and four large bedrooms. We loved every single thing about it. Amy and Jeff were so easy and accommodating, and just wonderful hosts. Rent this villa, you won't be disappointed!

We had the perfect stay at Jeff & Amy's home in Palmetto Dunes, Hilton Head, SC. It was exactly as advertised. We were within walking distance to the beach & the community pool. The back deck was tranquil & relaxing. We had plenty of room for all of us (Party of 5) to be comfortable. We enjoyed both walking and riding bikes around the island. The bike rental shop is within walking distance of the townhome. We are already planning our next trip. I just hope that this place is available once we have the dates for our next vacation! If you rent this house, you will not be disappointed.
