BOOK BOTH FOR LARGER FAMILIES Summer: Sunday to Sunday Rental. Other: 3-day minimum Principal Bedroom - Queen Bed Bedroom Two - Queen Bed and Bunkbed with Two Singles Southwinds E-13 is located on the third floor and has spectacular ocean and sound views. Views from every window. Great for families or a romantic getaway for two, with easy access to the beach and pool. One pool is located next to this building. Completely renovated. Immaculate condition. 2 bedrooms, 2 full big bathrooms. 2 queen beds, 2 twin bunk beds - sleeps 6. Full kitchen: microwave, dishwasher, glass top stove, refrigerator, new front loading washer/dryer. Free high speed WiFi. 40" HD TV, Blu-Ray player and Roku in Living Room. 32" HD TV and Roku in main bedroom. Southwinds is a family friendly ocean front condominium with two swimming pools, grills, and additional laundry facilities on site. It is a short drive down the road or a short walk down the beach to get to Fort Macon State Park. No smoking and no pets! Southwinds does not allow trailers or boats to be parked here. Parking passes for two cars. Includes bedroom linens, bath towels, and cleaning. Family friendly and great for kids in the summer. In the Spring/Fall and shoulder weeks, great for romantic getaways and slow relaxing. NOTE: No Elevators at Southwinds All remodeling at Southwinds is completed. Southwinds has all new roofs, balconies, landings, stairs, and walkways. NOTE: No Elevators at Southwinds

The 180 degree view from the third level was worth the daily trek. It was our first time at Atlantic Beach, so gave a good perspective! Soooo enjoyed the Morehead Seafood festival Sat./Sun., music, and Beaufort boat ride and waterfront. Could use a bigger pan for group meals. the seafood came out great with some team work. close to Ft. Macon end of island, quiet, Amos Mosquitos was casual, but good menu choices. Neighborhood was friendly too. dog walkers and beach combers. space was more than enough room for our party. enjoyed the deck for morn cup of joe too. felt safe for the five day stay, not like a visitor, and would book again for an outing.

The place was very clean, enough room for our family of four and nice balcony to enjoy when not at the beach! Loved having a washer and dryer so we never had to deal with wet beach towels. Will be back again next year!

As a family of 5 with a variety of ages, this condo offered everything we needed. It has beautiful views of the ocean and sound. The condo was very clean and had all the amenities included a full kitchen, washer/dryer, tv in family room and master bedroom, plus 2 full baths. The owner Mike was very quick to respond if we had questions and friendly. Hope to vacation here again!

It is such a cute property with great views and a very sparsely populated beach. The state park was beautiful and the fort was really interesting and surprisingly fun to visit. The property owner was great to work with! Great vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo was perfect for us, a family of 4. The location was great, close to everything but also far enough that the beach wasn't too crowded. Everything in the condo was exactly as advertised and we had no issues at all. The kids enjoyed the children's books on the shelf and picked one out to read each night. Great sunrise views over the sound and also enjoyed spending evenings on the balcony watching the boats coming in and out of Beaufort inlet.

This condo was the perfect gem for our family of 4. Exactly as depicted in the description and super clean! Very nice condo community with private beach access that is short and easy walk- was perfection. Mike- the property host- is awesome! Great & thorough communication all the way up to the day we arrived & extremely responsive during our stay. Look forward to future visits!!

Great AB condo for vacation
First - I love Southwinds for vacation. Two pools means neither is ever very crowded. The walk to the beach is easy and the people are friendly and nice. It's close to Ft Macon (which is a cool place to visit) and access to all the places in AB as well as Morehead or Beaufort is super easy.
Second - I've stayed in both of this owner's condos over the years (E-5 and E-13) and they're well kept, clean, well appointed, and coordinating entry and timing is super easy. Michael (the owner) is great to work with and makes deciding where to stay for an AB vaca an easy choice.
Instructions for using the Internet, the TV and Roku, and for checkout are right there for you when you arrive, and easy to follow. He provides a list of places to eat and things to do. Or you can do a lot of nothing. Whatever suits you.

The condo was nice and clean and just like pictures. We liked that it had everything we needed. It wasn’t too far from grocery stores. A short walk to the beach. The pools were huge! The owner Michael, was nice and prompt at giving us the code to get in and making sure we had safe travels home.

We enjoyed our stay. We found the place clean and the beds were comfortable. The exterior of the building has been remodeled in the past year. The walk to the beach wasn't too far and the beach wasn't too crowded for a holiday weekend.

Great Experience
This was our first family trip to North Carolina. We enjoyed our time at the property. The condo was cozy and we felt right at home. The condo was clean, inviting, and my daughters enjoyed the bunk bed. I only wish we’d stayed a bit longer. We were looking for a quiet getaway and that’s exactly what we experienced. We will definitely return next summer.

Best vacation ever!
The property was beautiful and exactly as advertised. It was a short walk to the beach and close to so many things. My family and I had coffee out on the balcony every morning to watch the sun come up and maybe a glass of wine at night too! :) We can't wait to come back.

The property had plenty of space for my husband, two small boys, and I. I really liked that it had two full bathrooms to utilize. It also had everything we needed to make breakfasts and lunches while there. I read comments about the walk to the beach being long, but it wasn't an issue at all for us and I'm 5.5-months pregnant.
One thing that wasn't ideal was the internet service. I could not get my laptops (tried 3) or our phones (tried 2) to connect to the wifi. I know this isn't the owner's fault, as the internet service was provided through the condo and not him, which is why I did not reduce my overall rating. I was trying to work remotely and had to use my cellphone hot spot instead.
Mike was extremely responsive and understanding. He made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I highly suggest his condo(s) and will probably come back once the weather warms up again :).

We had a fabulous stay. The unit was super clean. The resort has 2 pools and it’s a short walk to the beach. The unit is on the third floor and doesn’t have an elevator so be aware it could be difficult for someone who may be elderly.

Long weekend getaway
Long weekend getaway With my high school senior and a friend of hers. Location was perfect and the proximity to the beach was great for us. The community pools were accessible and overall I was extremely happy with the accommodations. We will come back to Atlantic Beach and look forward to staying at this property again
