About this condo rental
1st floor condo in a very family oriented resort that offers many quality amenities that allows you to stay on site . You will have many options to fill your stay with priceless memories. Our condo was recently updated (spring 2017) with two new bathrooms and new carpet in the great room and bedrooms, new kitchen and floors in Spring ‘18., bedrooms painted in Fall ‘19.The deck offers a great view of the courtyard and large pool / water slide/ minimal ocean view. The fall of 2021, the main living area is being painted, new flooring in the kitchen, living area.and bathrooms.The baseboard has been replaced in the entire unit. There is new furniture in the master bedroom, second bedroom and two new swivel chairs in living area. There is a walkway from your front door to the beach, less than 1000 feet. The boardwalk to the beach has been extended, giving you easier access. The beaches are large, very clean and the ocean is usually user friendly. Cleaning fee has increased to $250 (linens, towels and condo cleaning). The laundry vendor and Cleaner has increase their fee. We will give our guests the option to provide their own bed linens and towels for a $175 cleaning charge. You can request this option when you make your reservation.

A Place at the Beach was an excellent place to stay with a family. The unit we stayed in was nice and the hosts communicated well with us. I would recommend this to a friend.

We’ve stayed at this complex many times, but this was our first time in this specific condo. The location was really nice - not too far from the pool, beach, or parking lot. The condo was updated and clean. It was a nice fit for our family of six. Communication with our host was good and he was very responsive. We’d definitely stay here again!

The rental was nice and the owner was responsive: we were very disappointed with the resort for advertising such a beautiful resort pool with water slide…. Not open and no explanation. The whole focus of the advertisement was the pool area. So we got to look at the pool from our “pool view room “.

Atlantic Beach is a fun family destination and A Place At The Beach is a great place to stay and enjoy it. The pools, common spaces and boardwalks to the beach were clean, nice and well-maintained. Paul and Deb's place was comfortable and had everything we needed and they were gracious hosts. Would definitely recommend for a family beach vacation!

This is our third stay at APATB, and the resort is great for families with kids – always something to keep everyone entertained and happy! We noticed an increase in resort staff this year which we appreciated – everything felt a little cleaner and better taken care of. The outdoor pool is always a hit with the slide and plenty of seating, and the indoor pool is a great option when the weather is questionable.
This condo is all about location. It has a direct view of the pool area, and thanks to the first-floor locale and new walkway, makes for a very easy walk to the beach - no stairs! The floors are great for easy sweeping, the mattress in the master bedroom felt brand new, and the large counter space with big mirror in the family room is great for additional counter space.
The kitchen could be better stocked for cooking – frying pan/skillets, plastic cups, and another cookie sheet. A black out curtain would be great for the front bedroom – the lights from the walkway stay on all night and that bedroom never gets dark. We very much appreciated that the owners provided a ton of toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent, some coffee k-cups, a few trash bags to get us started – and lots of towels. Definitely would stay in this condo again!

This property is wonderful. Pools, playground, mini golf course and more. Wonderful room that was well stocked with everything we needed. The staff was nice and the grounds were very well kept. We will stay here again.

We had a great return visit to this Wonderful Property!
We arrived ahead of schedule and Paul welcomed us with an early check in!! Already looking forward to next years visit to our "New Favorite" Vacation spot!

This is the third condo my family has stayed in at A Place at the Beach, and it is definitely our favorite. It was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The updates made to the bathrooms were great and the proximity to the pool and beach were so convenient. Paul was an excellent host who was quick to help us out when we needed information. We had a wonderful stay and will hopefully be able to return next year!

Our condo was bright and very comfortable. Its location in the complex is central to complex amenities. Our only complaint was the shortened office hours upon check in and check out.

This is our favorite place to stay as a family! Love the pools, cleanliness, and proximity to the beach. Everyone is so friendly, and we will definitely be coming back!

This condo is the perfect location for easy access to the beach and pool. The updates are well done and overall it feels very welcoming. There is plenty of space to spread out and just relax!

This is our second stay at A Place at The Beach and it did not disappoint. Our condo was great- loved the space in the full 2 bedroom layout. There is something for everyone. We had two units with a broad age ( pre- teens all the way up to grandparents). Everyone had a blast. One of the best family vacations we have had in a while.

Paul’s place was perfect for us. My husband and I were in the area to visit our Marine stationed at Cherry Point. He stayed with us for two out of five days. There was plenty of room for all of us and since both bedrooms have tvs we could all have our own space if necessary. The men shared a bathroom and I used the master bath. The condo had everything we needed and was super clean and well maintained. I loved sitting out on the balcony which overlooks the pool area and water slide. (Which we all used)
The walk to the beach was short and easy. Paul was a great host and I would definitely stay again.

My family and I (Two adults and one full year old) Had a wonderful time at your apartment. The location was perfect for us! My son and I probably did 30 to 40 runs down the waterslide each day we were there! It is a short walk to the beach in the pool and playground are right there. We played Mini golf over by the office. The facility was clean parking and access were easy. The Atlantic Beach area had everything we needed but we liked the secluded location and the almost private beach. The apartment was clean and as described and I would Recommend this apartment. We will hopefully be back again circumstances allowing later in the summer or early fall with luck.

Condo was as described. Owner communication was great! We booked last minute to visit our son. The owner was very helpful with making the last minute rental and late arrival smooth. The property is old, but well maintained and clean. You can tell the owners take pride in it. It was nice to have washer and dryer and full kitchen. The beds were comfortable. If you are used to sleeping in total darkness, you may want to bring a sleep mask though, especially in the front bedroom, as the corridor light stays on and shone through. This was definitely not a deal breaker, just something I noticed. The view of the outdoor pool and playground was nice. The beach was lovely. My daughter enjoyed finding seashells. We enjoyed a game of putt putt. The property felt very safe. My little one did not have to constantly hold my hand, like in some other places we’ve been. The community was very laid back. There was easy access to anything we needed. I especially loved that the area is not commercialized and crowded like many other beach areas. But there was still plenty to do. We took a fishing trip from Beaumont and had a nice dinner at Table 9.

The house had been newly remodeled. Everything was clean and easy to use. The house was approximately 100 ft. from a beach access point. The landlady was very helpful in providing anything we needed to make our stay more enjoyable. We would rent this house again.

The facility was amazing. However, the condo had roaches, and I did let the owner know. And I am hoping the security deposit that he stole from us, he uses for pest control.
