My friend and I really enjoyed our December stay at Palm Escapes. The 11th floor, oceanside condo was comfortable, well equipped for cooking and quiet. The ample parking garage was right across the street. Our hostess, Kim, responded quickly to questions, and the arrival letter was very informative. Despite the cool weather we enjoyed walks on the beach, but the most memorable was sunrise each day!! The colors were amazing! We would consider this location next year.

The unit we stayed in was very nice. The overall rating was only 3 stars because the property’s indoor pool, hot tub and gym area need serious upgrades. Plus the hot tubs were only lukewarm.

Property was well maintained and nicely appointed with indoor and outdoor pools and saunas. Access to the beach was outstanding. Room was clean and well kept with complete accoutrements. Property owners were polite and responsive. Definitely a place to return to on our next Myrtle Beach vacation!

Very happy with the apartment.The bedroom air conditioner was very noisy.Also the ice maker did not work,Only stating this to help other tenants.overall very happy with Kim communication.Would consider to rent again.Breath taking views.

This property has a great view and is just a football field walk to the ocean. It has a boardwalk that leads you right there! The room is decorated super cute and makes you feel at home, plus the beds are comfortable. Will stay here again!

This property has an excellent view with two sea-facing windows in addition to the balcony. We appreciate the instruction about parking in the welcome email, it made our life easier. We enjoyed our stay. We did not bother the host about the dirty kitchen range because we were busy enjoying the view; but this place could use a deep-cleaning.

This condo couldn't have been more perfect. I felt so at home. The view throughout was breathtaking. Everything is so close by. Easy for us “old” people to get around. Kim was very helpful and made everything go smoothly. Can't wait to go back.

This place was absolutely beautiful! It was our first time in Myrtle Beach and being right on the water with the view from the balcony was amazing. This place had everything you needed and more. It was a bummer that the pool was closed during our stay, but we enjoyed the hot tub and the beach.

We greatly enjoyed staying at this property. Communication with the host was very clear regarding the property. The unit was updated and cared for well. We had everything we needed to cook meals. We enjoyed the morning views from the balcony and even saw some dolphins! I liked that the building and unit and lock codes to enter instead of a key card.

Communicate was great previous to the stay and there were no issues during the stay that required communication. The condo is exactly as described. The view from the balcony is spectacular. Right on the beach looking straight on to the ocean. The balcony is also very good sized, especially compared to others in the area that are quite small. It is clear the owners want their guests to be comfortable and enjoy their stay, as they provide nice towels, kitchen is appointed nicely and beach towels & beach accessories are available for your use. The owners left a handwritten note & welcome gift, a lovely personal touch. We would recommend this property.

The location was great. This was a clean, comfy, well decorated unit with everything we needed to have a relaxing vacation on the beach. The beds were comfy and we had plenty of linens, beach towels and beach chairs. Kim and Joe thought of everything and were super helpful ! We spent every morning drinking coffee on the balcony enjoying the sun and ocean breeze.

PROS: There is a code to enter so you don’t have to deal with keys. The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped. There are sand toys and beach chairs. The parking garage is across the street. The view of the ocean from the balcony is beautiful. It’s a corner apartment so there is an additional view of the beach. It is well decorated and they leave a basket with a note, a bottle of wine and a treat. The owner was highly communicative and offered suggestions while we were there. CONS: The building is old and not well tended to. Even there is a reception desk, there is never anyone there. Even though the luggage carts have a sign saying that they are only for luggage, I observed a luggage cart being used to take down trash. That is highly unsanitary. The elevator broke down and we had to walk down 11 flights of stairs. The stairwell was very dirty with a “projects” feel. On checkout day only 1 elevator was working. Considering there is a cleaning fee, the place should have been immaculate. It wasn’t. There were potato chips inside the cabinet around the trash can. One of the sofa cushions had a big stain. One of the beds is placed immediately to your left when you walk in. The parking pass is falling apart. Such an easy thing to fix. The towels are in a basket on the floor right next to the toilet. Gross. There was a leak in the drain pipe which prompted more communication with the owner. He entered the unit twice, once when we were there while getting ready to go out. We were told not to use the sink for several hours. That was inconvenient.

It was a nice place. The owner keeps the kitchen fully stocked which is convenient. Short walk to the beach. Nice view but sunrise and sunsets are blocked by nearby buildings. Nothing that is the owner's fault but there was a number of individuals smoking marijuana on their balconies which unfortunately filtered my way when I was trying to enjoy the ocean view. Overall a decent place. Thank you for letting us stay.
