Located in Ohio, this attractive condo for $109 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Come take a vacation at this peaceful country setting within reasonable distance to the Hocking Hills State Parks. The Sunrise apartment is located above our 3 car garage and is a studio type room with a queen bed, a couch, TV screen with a Samsung DVD player. Bring your favorite DVDs. We have Verizon phones which do fair, but their internet service has dropped drastically and we will not provide any Internet service anymore until we find a better solution. We do encourage a technology free vacation. There is also a small table with 2 benches, a bar with 2 bar stools, a fully furnished kitchenette, 1 bathroom, and another bedroom with a full size bed located on the other side of the bathroom. This bedroom also has an entrance from the stairway. Towels and linens are provided. Country Lane Lodging also offers another vacation apartment at this location that sleeps 5 with 2 bedrooms. Sunset unit is located out in our barn on the far right. (google Sunset Apt. Tarlton, OH) We have an above ground pool that is open during the summer months for guests use. Enjoy the trails in our woods, roast hotdogs in one of our two fire rings, and enjoy our mini farm, with miniature horses, and Snowball the barn cat. Get up early to see the sunrise from your window. Complimentary coffee and snacks. We are located 45 minutes southeast of Columbus, 15 minutes from Circleville the home of the Pumpkin Show, 25 minutes from Tecumseh (outdoor drama) and 15-20 minutes to Rock House one of the Hocking Hills State Parks. There is a IGA with fuel, a Dollar General and a few small diners in the little town of Tarlton just a few minutes from here. And plenty more to do to keep you busy for a number of days. The property is beautiful. We hiked in Hocking Hills every day so we didn’t miss the tv access, (which the owner was upfront about in the listing). We had no problem receiving internet service on our phones through our provide (Visible by Verizon). I relaxed on the Hammock in the sun one day which was lovely. We would definitely recommend to others.

It is just like the pictures. Very clean and comfortable. Sweet family as we had a little bit of interaction. We wished we would have had time to explore a trail or two. Gorgeous country, property and accomodations.

The Sunrise unit was perfect for our stay. Kitchenette had all the eating & cooking basics, beds & bedding were comfortable, bathroom was spacious & well-appointed. We spent most of our time at Hocking Hills, but will return to enjoy the beautiful woods, pool and grounds on our next visit!

The property was extremely well maintained, the owners were very respectful to ensure our privacy and the check-in/check-out process was flawless. We loved staying here! The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and in a beautiful, rural location with a lovely yard. The Stoltzfuses were very friendly and glad to help with any needed information. We would definitely stay here again!

The Sunrise Apartment was everything we hoped it to be. It was very clean and comfortable in a very quiet country setting. There is no TV reception but we enjoyed several of their available DVD's at night. We were greeted by their friendly outside cat several times and we loved waking up to the sound of birds singing and seeing the lovely sunrise! The location was perfect because we came to do some hiking at Hocking Hills. All the people we met in the area were very friendly and there are restaurants, yummy ice cream and gasoline near by. We would highly recommend the Sunset Apartment to anyone who is looking for a quiet get away while still having plenty of activities to do during the day!

Excellent rental! Super easy check-in/out. Very clean, comfortable and has everything you need. Absolutely gorgeous property with cute and friendly farm animals. The pool was very relaxing. Gas station, diner / creamery, and Dollar General a few minutes away. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay here. The property is 30-45 minutes away from the most popular Hocking Hills attractions, which was fine with us, as it was in a quiet, rural area. If you are not comfortable with driving one-lane or skinny two-lane roads with no shoulders, you quickly figure out the best routes to take. As mentioned in the description, Wifi is pretty spotty, and you may want to take the owners' advice and take a technology break - good advice when you consider the beauty around you. The fall colors really presented themselves during the week we stayed here, and it was fun to look out the window at sunrise and see ponies and goats playfully running around. We kept our food expenditures low by buying groceries instead of eating out, and the kitchen has everything you need to accommodate you. Clean, reasonable, nicely located and complete, I would recommend this unit and stay here again.

We stayed 7 nights/days in the Sunrise apartment, 3 adults, 2 children. We, and our Grandma who traveled with us, appreciated the privacy of the separate bedroom. There was a comfortable amount of room in the great room for our 2 children's cots and still be able to move around easily. We enjoyed the kitchen to be able to prepare our own meals also while visiting. The grounds are beautiful! The owners allow guests to walk their trails behind their home and visit with their cute animals. The ponies are very gentle and like to be petted. The property is nearby family and amazing activities which we were grateful to see and do. During our visit enjoyed visiting Flint Ridge, Butterfly Ridge Conservation Center, Alley Park "Frontier Spirit" , Fox's High Rock Petting Zoo, Ash Cave, Conkles Hollow and Hocking Hills Visitor's Center. We enjoyed our stay very much!
