Situated in Connecticut, this charming bed and breakfast for $115 per night is a great choice for your next break. The Loft @ Lost Acres is a wonderfully private, rural getaway! This bright and comfortable space is located on the upper floor of the Lost Acres Vineyard service barn. Originally intended for the caretaker, the owners have decided to offer it to the public to enjoy the beauty of the vines & the stunning rural scenery of North Granby. Come to enjoy over 65 acres of farmland, trails & wooded pathways. Oh, and stop by the tasting barn, the wine is AMAZING! The Loft @ Lost Acres is a modern space located above a farm winery barn. It includes a Kitchen (fully equipped), a Living Room, the Dining area, two Bedrooms and a full Bath. There is a convenient stacked washer & dryer down the hall. The beautiful Maple hardwood floors run throughout the entire space with nine-foot ceilings in most areas and lots of windows that create a bright, cheery environment. Space is furnished with vintage furniture, cozy beds, and comfortable seating. Guests will be able to use the entire upper floor of the building (over 1000 sq. ft.) and an exterior seating area located out on the lawn. You will enjoy views of the vineyard and the surrounding farms. Enjoy the views of the horses but please do not approach them. :) Amenities include freshly laundered, soft cotton bedding and towels, hypoallergenic or goose down pillows. The bath has an ample supply of bar soaps, shampoos, a hair dryer and a first aid box. The spaces are accessorized with framed artwork from local artists, mirrors, clocks and decorative items of interest. We offer a quiet, relaxing experience with smart TV, good wifi internet access and lots of books, old magazines, and games to enjoy a special time with friends or loved ones. The Kitchen is equipped with stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave and a wine cooler. The cooler is stocked with wine which can be purchased upon request. The Lost Acres Vineyard was awarded #3 best wine in Connecticut in 2017! The tasting barn is just steps away (Friday thru Sunday) and offers all the amenities of a great Connecticut Farm Winery. Booking events and parties after 6:00 PM is always possible if reservations are confirmed with vineyard owners. Our goal is to leave you to enjoy the loft and all the surrounding amenities and beauty at your leisure. We live nearby so we are always available by text or cell phone. We provide a complete list of emergency numbers in the unlikely event that you would need these services. The Loft @ Lost Acres is located in the heart of Connecticut's best private boarding schools. 7 of the top schools in Connecticut are located within 20 miles of the property. These schools include... Ethel Walker and Westminster Schools in Simsbury; Suffield Academy and Loomis-Chaffee Schools; Miss Porter's in Farmington, Kingswood-Oxford in West Hartford and Avon Old Farms School in Avon, Connecticut. In the 1700's Lost Acres was a political no-man's land known as "the Wedge." In the early 1800's, the Wedge's free-spirited, independent-minded, cider distilling hill farmers populated the area. Lost Acres Vineyard reclaimed this land which now contributes to the agricultural spirit and the natural beauty of Granby. The street is a designated Scenic Road with huge old oak trees, old stone walls and is a local favorite for biking, jogging and walking. Our beautiful community also offers self-serve farm stands, homemade ice cream stores, country libraries as well as upscale evening dining and art galleries. Located in an area with breathtaking views and just minutes from the best waterfalls in Connecticut! The property is surrounded by thousands of acres of hiking and walking trails, a game refuge and state forests. See our local guidebook for more details. We had a great stay here for two nights. There are plenty of places to walk that are within a short drive. We did not have a chance to try the winery but it looked quite relaxing. We expected it and chose for this reason...but just in case you are wondering, it does take a little time to drive smaller roads to get to nearby cities.

The Loft is very clean, modern and beautifully furnished. You will enjoy the comfort from the moment you walk in! Our only regert is that we didn't stay longer! Ken is a FABULOUS host and will go above and beyond to insure you have a wonderful stay. (he even brings batteries for the remote when needed for that nights entertainment! Thanks!) This was our second stay at Lost Acres. We enjoyed the cozy apartment with plenty of bath towels, and wine from the nearby vineyard available in the room. We especially enjoyed Sunday when we were able to sit at the outdoor table with a glass of cold Reisling wine from the vineyard and listen to

The loft is a very welcoming place. It has many nice amenities. The description of the loft and location is spot on. However, I would be remiss in not warning future visitors of the infestation of bugs! I worked on the couch and other living room area furniture while staying there. I am covered in tiny bug bites all over my body including my face, I am so uncomfortable. I hope the owner takes my concerns seriously and deals with the problem immediately.

Beautiful, quiet surroundings, way off the beaten path, but just a short ride to Lost Acres Orchard for breakfast, pastries and lunch. Gorgeously decorated in antiques and comfortable chairs, couch and bedrooms. Winery was not open for tasting but all wines available in the apartment for self pay. AC units most welcome.

Very impressed with the attention to all meaningful details to hosting which contributed to an amazing stay. The site is beautiful, safe and private, the wine is tasty, and the instructions were super straightforward. I would stay again and recommend to anyone.

I came here for a girls getaway and we absolutely loved the cozy loft! It was full of charm and was the perfect size for the 3 of us to enjoy for the weekend! Just steps away from the vineyard with a variety of local wine for purchase available right in the kitchen!!! Granby was an amazing choice to explore all the natural beauty that CT has to offer- lovely parks, waterfalls, and amazing photo opps! You won’t be disappointed with your stay!

We arrived at the loft and were very happy with the accommodations. Very comfy and cozy and quiet. We enjoyed clam chowder and shrimp tacos at the on site food truck. The bed was comfortable however the furniture in the living room could use updating. One particular chair was hazardous to sit in of get up from with very loose arms. Our stay in this incredible country loft on Lost Acres Winery 🍷 was quiet, peaceful and serene. We came to this location to be near our daughter and son in law who we’re expecting our first grandchild, everything was extremely clean and comfortable. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy the winery and the grounds as well as do some more in the area. Obviously when the weather is better. The hosts also we’re very easy to deal with and very quick to respond….very accommodating….I give entire stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars and will be back 😊

My wife and I stayed at the Loft because we wanted a unique and interesting rural location from which to explore a bit of Connecticut and western Massachusetts. It was perfect. Designed from the start as a guest lodging it was spacious, well lighted, comfortable, and quiet. It is next door to the winery/event venue with which it is connected, but is oriented for sight and sound away from that setting. From inside The Loft you would not know a party was going on, even with a crowd having fun. Really, we felt at home. If I were to issue a caveat it would be that the beds would be a challenge to climb into for a person of less than average height. They are lovely, but quite tall. Perhaps there is a stepstool, but we didn't look.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay here! The property was clean and very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Ken was always available for any questions that came up. The grounds were so beautiful and there were lots of hiking trails nearby. We had a great time and would definitely return.

The loft is such an amazing place to stay. . The unit itself was large, very clean and well stocked. Very close to town for eating out but the vineyard is so quiet and peaceful for lounging around and sleeping in. Ken and his wife are so pleasant and helpful, she even let my daughter help with the horses. Oh yes and the wines are delicious! A great place for a getaway and looking forward to a return visit.

We really enjoyed our weekend at the loft. It was extremely clean and nicely decorated. Enders Falls State Forest is nearby. They have nice trails and beautiful scenery. The winery had an event with a food truck and entertainment on Sunday. Sitting on the lawn drinking wine and listening to music was quite relaxing. I would definitely rent the place again if in the area.
