About this cabin rental
Nestled in Gatlinburg, this lovely cabin for $327 per night is a great option for your next break. This comfortably designed 2-story log cabin is conducive to relaxation and experiencing Smoky Mountain living at its best. From the rustic hardwood floors, open beam ceilings and stone fireplaces, you'll feel like you've stepped into a wilderness wonderland. The Main floor of the cabin is warm and inviting. This is where you will find the loft which features a Queen size bed! The Master Suite is below the Main Floor of the cabin accessed by an enclosed staircase. The Master Suite is it's own space. Just outside of the Master Suite is the lower back deck where you will find our luxurious Hot Tub. We spared no expense and it is fantastic!! Enjoy a home-cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen with dining area, or snuggle up with a good book in front of the fireplace-there are two of them! When you're not hiking in the hills or taking advantage of the nearby shopping in Gatlinburg, engage in a friendly game of pool or enjoy the Arcade! We have the highest quality sit down Arcade that money can buy. It features a 25” LED screen, tempered glass top, lighted trackballs, awesome sound, and LED lights. Unwind on one of the two decks or indulge in a nice long soak in the Spa Crest Duke 601 outdoor hot tub. We spared no expense, and this Hot Tub features a lounger! The master suite features a king-sized bed, an oversized Jacuzzi tub and fireplace. This 'High Haven' retreat is less than 5 minutes from the heart of Gatlinburg and entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Guests have full access to the 3 separate Chalet Village Clubhouses where summer time swimming and tennis are available. High Haven cabin is located at light number #10 off Ski Mountain Road and less than 5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. No need to worry about parking; our driveway is nearly level and accessible throughout the year - there's enough room to park 2 cars side by side. Additionally, the terrain around our cabin is safe enough for the kids to explore under supervision. We do offer Military and First Responder discounts. We are sure whether you are with family, friends or newly married, that High Haven Cabin will become your home away from home. We couldn't have been happier to get snowed in at High Haven! It was so beautiful and cozy. We had time together to enjoy the pool table and the hot tub. Philip and Kelly were so helpful and welcoming with great communication when it came to navigating mother nature's surprises ;) Thanks again for sharing your space!! I planned this stay as a Christmas gift for my 2 sons (ages 16 & 20). It was perfect! The location was beautiful and the cabin was absolutely lovely! We were thrilled to find it decorated beautifully for Christmas! Wonderful memories made and we hope to return! A million thumbs up!

Our stay was absolutely amazing!! Upon or arrival, I was greeted with a beautiful cabin, 20 of the most perfect roses ever, chocolates & the most fabulous wine!! I couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect. My husband & I had never had a honeymoon or for that matter we’d never been on a trip by ourselves. We have four amazing daughters, two of whom are autistic, so our trip taking was not in the cards until now. My husband was the sole provider and I was the caretaker and I wouldn’t change it for the world. The owners of the cabin went above and beyond. The housekeeper made a special trip just for “me” and the guest that were in the cabin before we arrived allowed my roses to be delivered early. Simple put, the most memorable & amazing time!! Thank you so much Phillip & Kelly!!

We had a really relaxing time at the cabin. It was clean and was exactly what we were expecting. The hot tub was great. We really enjoyed the closeness to the park and Gatlinburg. We did see bears a couple of times around the cabin and also had a paw print on our van. Philip was an excellent host and gave a lot of good information.

My husband and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary and High Haven was a great spot for that. Host responded instantly to any questions...we didn't have many, as his check-in instructions were very thorough! The cabin is nestled in the woods, but also very close to the park and the town, so the location is unbeatable. The hot tub was dreamy...and super clean!

Beautiful property in and around the cabin! The convenience of being close to town was nice. I’m from a flatter state so the drive was interesting for me. It was all paved to the cabin and the driveway was accessible, just some winding roads and mountain views along the way. I was excited about my chance to see a bear from the previous reviews. We seen one the first evening and two more while staying at the cabin! It is true about locking your car doors because the bear tried opening my door with his mouth. Most of our meals were cooked at the cabin. The hot tub was an added bonus for viewing the wildlife. A great horned owl flew right in front of us to another tree and hung out for awhile. I really appreciate nature and the cabin was perfect for it. This was one of our first vacations together and I’m happy we choose this spot! ♥️ the owner was also very responsive and reached out right away. This was my first time booking on vrbo and everything went smooth! 10/10 would recommend to my friends and family.

We’ve utilized VRBO properties in the past. This experience was second to none. Philip provided us more than adequate information right down to the details of what’s provided and what to expect when visiting this beautiful cabin and area. The location of the cabin is absolutely perfect. It’s conveniently located in an area which affords traffic free travel to downtown Gatlinburg (5 minutes), the entrance to The Great Smoky Mountains National Park (5 minutes), and Pigeon Forge (20 minutes) while also feeling like your a million miles away from the hustle and bustle. The property allows for great viewing of black bears. We saw several including a mama bear with 3 cubs. We listened for and found the owls on property which were amazing to watch. The inside of the cabin has a warm feeling and is beautifully decorated with artwork which relate to the history of the magical Smoky Mountains. I could tell that the Owner maintains this property to a high standard. I can also assure you that this cabin Owner and Manager truly cares about the quality of your stay and time in the smoky’s. The information and recommendations he provided helped us with efficiency and ultimately allowed us more time to see more of what the area offers. With so much to see and do, and so much competition from other travelers, I felt I had a better understanding of an unfamiliar area and was thankful I found this property and this Owner. This property is in an excellent location if you want to see the black bears! We seen at least one everyday walking by the cabin. The property was very clean, well maintained and set in a peaceful area. The owners are very accommodating and are quick to respond to any questions and issues that may arise. It’s clear they want their guests to have the best experience possible!

Amazing cabin in a great location. Cabin is located minutes from Gatlinburg but far enough away that you aren’t surrounded by people. Bears everywhere! We had bears come past the cabin regularly. Great location to adventure out from. Cabin is great inside. The only issue we had was the master bedroom is below the cabin (basement) and the other bedroom was a loft so the kids are not close enough for comfort at a young age. We had them sleep in the main bedroom on a air mattress in case they woke up at night so we could hear them. This was an easy fix and I would defiantly recommend this cabin. The owners are very responsive and helpful. Cabin is clean and well maintained.

High Haven Cabin is THE place to stay in Gatlinburg. The cabin is clean and super cozy! The cabin has lots of space for large families, or a couple can enjoy the master suite on a romantic getaway! It has everything you need for a long visit! The location is perfect, very close to downtown Gatlinburg and the National park entrance! The owners make check in and checkout very fast and simple.

Words can't express enough how beautiful this cabin was, it was perfect for us and our 2 kids. We seen MULTIPLE bears out and around our area. The location is very peaceful and more isolated than most cabins. & the bed was like a cloud to lay on after a 7 hour drive. We will be visiting High Haven Cabin again next summer!

Everything from beginning to end was enjoyable dealing with High Haven cabin rental. The owners were super friendly, knowledgeable and accomodating. The property was just as expected per thevlisting and informative emails sent by Phillip the owner. Our family loved the somewhat secluded yet still accessible location. We were "out in the woods" but still only minutes from Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge. The arcade machine was a hit with the kids, the hot tub a favorite of the adults and the pool table enjoyed by all ages. The cleanliness was also great! Phillip was great in sending us clips of our bear friends who visited the outside of the property without our knowledge! Overrall a great experience, would recommend and would do it again.

Property was amazing location just mins from downtown Gatlinburg. The views to get to the cabin were awesome! Everything was less then 15 mins to get to from Horseback riding to ziplining. What a great weekend! We definitely will be back more often.

This cabin was everything and more. I am very picky about cleanliness.... we rarely frequent hotels and have never used a VRBO until this cabin. It was clean, cozy, safe and conveniently located to all the trailheads we wanted. Owner was friendly and very easy to communicate with. Our stay was everything we needed it to be and far exceeded expectations! Bonus points for a clean hot tub to soak in and super fun arcade table. 😁
