Wide open spaces, playground, chicken coop, and beautifully manicured lawns offer a place to come and unwind or return to comfort during a busy stay. Rise early to experience the breath-taking sunrises that we regularly enjoy. Sunsets never disappoint here at Skyview Acres. Guests are free to roam the acreage, fish in the ponds, and watch the chicken scurry around. We created this beautiful little guest quarters to meet nearly every need a guest will have who wishes to have a peaceful getaway. The small kitchen has just been updated and now includes apartment-sized refrigerator and range, microwave, and kuerig coffee maker. New pics will be coming soon. A variety of cooking utensils are available to cook full meals. As owners, we are onsite caretakers who enjoy opening our property for the enjoyment of others. Located just 5 miles from Kansas City International Airport and 1 mile to I-435, access to all the happenings in and around Kansas City is a breeze. We are located in the northland of Kansas City with easy highway access to downtown Kansas City (18 miles), The Legends, and the stadiums. Only a 10 minute drive to Zona Rosa's shopping and dining destination. Kansas City boasts a great art culture and a destination for foodies. The bedroom includes a queen size bed, closet, and sitting area. Our prayer is that you would feel welcome and the peace of God while you are here.

I booked this place because it was a great location down the road from The Brim wedding venue! It was convenient for me and my groomsmen to use it for a getting ready room and a place to stay that evening so we can get on a plane the next day for our honeymoon!!! Thank you for the awesome place!

My wife and I were passing through so our stay was only one night but we wish it had been planned for more. Location to KC and airport is convenient and amenities are practical. Loved the Rooster wake up call. We unfortunately did not meet Tammi but according to the guest book, we wish we had. The property is very well maintained in a rural area not far from the airport. It is quiet and it is very low stress. High marks and recommendations from us!

This is a perfect property for staying in Kansas City while traveling. It is super close to the city but feels like it’s a million miles away! The grounds are beautiful like a park. Super clean and has everything you need. We had the best nights sleep here. Highly recommend!

Lovely stay at Tammie’s guest house. We spent a few hours exploring outside, the view from the backyard is absolutely gorgeous. The sky went on forever.

My sister and I got together for a "girl's weekend" and we are so thankful to stay at Tammie's VRBO! The SETTING is BEAUTIFUL! We enjoyed sipping our morning coffee sitting outside staring out over the pond and then enjoyed eating our Chipotle meal at the picnic table watching the sunset. So thankful!

I cannot speak the words to cover how I felt there. Tammie’s heart for Christ was shared with me when I went out of my comfort and spoke what I was going through. She was so kind and listened so intently. We even had a blessed opportunity to pray together. This place is so peaceful, quiet, comforting. Everything was so clean and comfortable too! I would recommend this to anyone needing some “me time”. Perfect!

Oh, where to begin??!! The cottage is practical and restful and beautiful. Bed is super comfy - I suffer from back issues, but not here! Plenty of beautiful property to walk endlessly, for exercise or just to take-in the serene setting. A beautiful, rural location, and yet it lies close to downtown KC, and even closer to KCI airport.. The best part was meeting Tammie, our host. Friendly, warm, and loaded with suggestions and/or information for whatever you're looking to do. Hey - Do yourselves a favor. Book a stay at this oasis of restful love. You will NOT be disappointed! Enjoy.

We had a late night check in & early morning check out. They were accommodating to our schedule. We had an issue that could not be addressed at the time. Tammie was quick to respond & had the issue taken care of immediately. The bed & pillows were soft, not our preference but still comfy. We already have scheduled our next stay there. This home is a bit north of KC but is the perfect getaway. My husband and I went to KC for a baseball game and to explore the city, and this was a perfect place to come back to. The property is huge and peaceful and Tammie is right, the sunsets are beautiful! We will be checking to see if this place is available when we come back to KC!

Very convenient location to the aiport which was super helpful for our 5am flight the next morning. It was quiet and peaceful. We had some troubles checking in but the owners helped us out quickly and communication was great. They even offered to start a fire in the firepit, which we would have loved if we had more time. Such a neat place to spend some time relaxing. Away from the hustle of the city but still just 10 minutes from all the shopping and eats one could want. The hosts are the most kind humans we’ve come across. We will be back for sure! The kitchen and bedroom were a perfect set up and had all we needed to have a great stay.

Such a wonderful experience! The house was clean and smelled amazingly good when we arrived. Such a beautiful country scenery away from the city, but not too far from all the attractions! Miss Tammie the owner was on point and such a kind, sweet individual! I will definitely go there anytime I visit the KC area!

We had a wedding in the area and a 3 day stay. We absolutely loved Skyview acres! Our hosts were the best and the accommodations were perfect. You won’t be disappointed. The bedding was cozy, the decorations were stylish and the kitchenette was modern and the perfect size. We had everything we needed. We will be back!

Lovely, rural apartment just a short distance from Kansas City. I especially enjoyed sitting outside at dusk and watching the fireflies dance across the fields. So quiet and calming! Large bedroom with plenty of storage space, kitchenette and a bath/laundry area. Small refrigerator, toaster/convection oven, microwave, coffee pot and 2-ring burner are provided, along with plenty of dishes and silverware. Tammie was very welcoming and communicative. Would definitely stay again should our travels bring us that direction.

The little apartment was perfectly clean and was very comfortable. I used the kitchen a little and was thankful it had everything I needed. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed an evening walk on one of the farm paths. The atmosphere is so peaceful! Tammie made check in/out easy and was wonderful to communicate with. We hope to pass thru and stay again!

Excellent communication with Tammie! Very friendly and hospitable. The property was very clean and well kept. The view of the property including the pond and the field and tree lines is beautiful. We would definitely stay again.
