You'll enjoy the sunsets, the wildlife, boat watching, and the overall peaceful setting from the entire living area and master suite. In addition, the huge wrap-around balcony and screened in porch provide excellent viewing as well. Not to mention a great place to take a nap. Enjoy all of the modern amenities that you would expect. What to do When You Visit Crisfield: The J. Millard Tawes Historical Museum and Visitor's Center. The Visitor's Center is staffed with knowledgeable, friendly people, eager to point you in the direction of town attractions and areas of interest. Though down at the heels fishing village now, Crisfield has clear evidence of a significant role in Chesapeake Bay oyster and crab industries. There are many empty lots and businesses but we love the quiet. The post-Thanksgiving crab pot Christmas Tree lighting event is a treat. finding new places to walk without driving is a challenge though we love Janes State Park. The hosts are quite accommodating and available if needed, this was our third visit.

We first stayed here two years ago, and loved it. So, when we decided we wanted to return to Crisfield, we knew we wanted to come back to this lovely condo again.
Things were just as good this time around; the condo was again practically immaculate and well-stocked. We again arrived in the middle of torrential downpours, but being able to park under the building and not venture out into the weather with our bags felt like a gift! We did have to reach out to the homeowners a couple times with questions, but they were quickly and easily resolved.
While it's true there's not a lot to the town, that was one of the things that brought us back -- the lack of "bustle" made it the perfect getaway to truly relax without an itinerary! We rode our bikes, took the boat to Smith Island (after visiting Tangier 2 years ago), walked to Johnny Sweets, took a day trip to Chincoteague/Assateague (and got to see the ponies this year!), swam in the pool, and still found plenty of time to relax and read on the deck with books checked out from the public library less than a mile away.
We hope the Hallmans continue to host guests in this condo for many years to come, because we definitely hope to return again and again!

Very spacious condo with a fantastic water view. Kitchen is well equipped. Pool area is also excellent. Parking is super convenient (being underneath the building is a plus).

The photos on the listing are very accurate. The condo was better than we expected and we loved coming back to hang out there after doing daily excursions. The condo is really nice with plenty of space and is really well appointed with all of the things that are needed to have a great and worry-free time! The unit has an awesome and very large wraparound deck that is amazing. We saw some fish jumping in the water, some turtles, and plenty of birds from the deck. Sunsets were gorgeous with the best unobstructed views. The beds, bedding, linens and all were great. Kitchen and bathrooms had enough paper towel, hand soap, toilet paper, etc... Very nice touch compared to other short-term rentals that we've stayed at. Kudos to the owners of the unit for being great hosts!!

We will deff be staying here again. The views from the unit were enough to make me never want to leave. My only complaint is the cooking skillets are pretty unusable. Even with heavy cooking spray everything we tried to make just roasted to the pan.

Loved our stay at this property. The pictures don’t do this property justice. Enjoyed our visit and being able to accommodate hosting dinner with family/friends while visiting hometown. Very clean and well kept property and excellent communication with property owners.

The views of the Tangier Sound are remarkable! We enjoyed watching the workboats depart and return with their harvest of oysters. The condo was so comfortable and pleasant. We will definitely return.

Really enjoyed our stay at the condo. I was clean fantastic views and only short drive to Janes Island state park, Smith island ferry ,restaurants and grocery store. I would not hesitate to stay here again when back in the area or recommend the rental. Thanks you Lolly & Lou for sharing your home.

The condo itself was as described. However, once you leave the condo property the surrounding area can be best described as an impoverished, completely abandoned town. In our estimate approximately 90%+ of business buildings are closed/shuttered. Pretty much no than 2-3 crab restaurants and a pizzeria or two within the community. I would surmise that Dollar Stores are the leading source of employment. Before arrival we had high hope's of at least renting bicycles and private fishing boats. This was not the case as there are no rentals of any kind in this area, for anything. Sadly for us we bought into the beautiful pictures of the condo with the owner's very 'selective' photo's trying to portray the area better than what it is. According to Zillow.com, the area has both a walkability and biking rating of 3 out of TEN. On the second night, during our one week rental, we decided to walkabout the small town. Only to have the misfortune of a few young punks initiate verbal harassments with us. Mind you, there were absolutely no other people whatsoever in the area, even though this was one weekend prior to the Labor Day weekend. The streets were deserted except for my wife and I and a few punks. We did not rent the condo to stay inside the condo for the entire week. As with any type of vacation it was our desire to enjoy the local outdoors by walking, hopefully renting bikes and a small private boat and enjoy many restaurants. Sadly, we did something we have never done in our 41 years of marriage, nor ever imagined. We cleaned the condo, took the trash to the dumpster and left this 'vacation' condo 72 hours after our arrival and drove back to our home in PA. This area is by no means any type of a vacation destination. Unless of course you want to have a gathering for a small group of 'Monks' to quietly meditate and stay inside the condo for an entire week. We urgently implore anyone reviewing our feedback to not make the same mistake we did, and that is to thoroughly do you own on-line research before committing any money for this condo rental location. It was by far our most greatest mistake of being suckered into the beautiful pictures the owners depict on their listing. And upon informing the owners of our early departure after 72 hours, our displeasure and our accusation of their false misrepresentation diversions via text message, the only thing we heard afterwards from these condo owners were... 'Crickets'. Buyers Beware Indeed !!

Great place for exploring nearby islands - Tangier, Smith, Jane’s - and having a relaxing retreat. The condo had everything we needed and then some! It was super clean, the hosts were super helpful in making suggestions about the area, and from the balcony you felt like you were sailing on a cruise ship given the water was so close. Can’t think of a nicer place to spend the week with the family.

We arrived at the condo to find a inviting, well decorated "home" away from home. We booked this condo because we were attending a crab feast in Crisfield and we decided to make it a weekend trip. The condo offered everything that we needed and more! From a fully stocked kitchen to absolutely breathtaking views and sunsets. Sitting on the decks surrounded by water was very relaxing and tranquil. Thank you Lou and Lolly for being awesome hosts and for providing amazing accommodations.

It was very clean, cozy, well-furnished and stocked with whatever you might need. It was so quiet and relaxing sitting out on the wrap around balcony which gave views of the entire complex. We traveled to Deale Island, Chincoteague and visited 4-5 seafood markets. We ate well - clams, oysters, soft crabs, flounder, mako, head-on-shrimp were all fresh and tasty. The weather wasn't conducive for fishing and it was a little early for crabbing . . . so we have to go back! :) This is certainly a gem of a property and the owners were wonderful to work with.

I love this place. It's the best place I've ever stayed away from home. I felt very relaxed and the water view is amazing. Although is was very breezy and cool, I was still throw my fishing rod an catch a few crabs I hope to this place again really soon. Thanks to the host for allowing us to stay.
