Situated in Wisconsin, this charming cottage for $115 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. FIREFLIES !!!! Summer spectacles. RELAXING hillside setting next to our vineyard with 1 bedroom, full kitchen, patio with bistro table/chairs, electric outdoor grill. Outdoor firepot for watching sunsets. Stroll through the vineyard with a glimpse, of the Mississippi River from 1.5 miles inland. Awaken to the call of the sand hill cranes in the valley floor.. In the evening be serenaded by the sounds of the frogs. From the living room and bedroom observe bluebirds, finches, orioles, robins and other birds in their daily routines. Only 7 miles south of La Crosse, WI dining, shopping, bicycle trails, and hiking trails. Located in Vernon County where many nature activities are available.

The property was perfect for our little weekend getaway during the Lacrosse Oktoberfest celebration. Everything we needed for our stay was there, and it was very nice and clean.
We loved the views from the hillside vineyard, especially at sunset.
Greg was a great host, with bread and wine on the table for our arrival, and he was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He even let us check in a bit early when our plans changed. Next time we are in the Lacrosse area, we would definitely stay again!

Drive the extra 6 miles to this quiet, peaceful retreat! You won’t regret it! The views and amenities are fantastic! Watch the sunset over the Mississippi from the bedroom.
Owners had a bottle of their own wine and homemade bread for us.
Cabin is much nicer than described.

We enjoyed our time here at the vineyard. Greg was generous with his time in educating us about the grape varieties as well as the growing and harvesting processes. Learned also about wine making. We enjoyed the bread and wine samples that he provided. He also gave us tips as to places to go, restaurants, etc. Great place to visit!

Our stay at Greg’s vacation rental was amazing. The photos for the listing really do not do any justice for when you are actually there in person. The location of the property is beautiful. Greg also keeps the property extremely clean. We have no complaints of the property. Our stay was such a great experience and we will absolutely be coming again!

We are from the twin cities area and were seeking a private/semi-private, outdoor getaway out in the country. This spot was perfect, the kitchen had utensils and dishware, there were plenty of towels, and the owner was very nice and came up when the grill stopped working. The complimentary wine and bread were a nice touch. We will definitely come back if we are back in the La Crosse area!

The place was better than the pictures showed - inside and out. We enjoyed everything about it, whether it be the large bedroom windows giving a great view of the bluffs or the relaxing and secluded outdoor seating. We would definitely stay here again!!

Greg met us as we drove up the driveway and gave us directions to the b&b. He is friendly and very hospitable. He offered his assistance if needed. The sky was full of stars when not cloudy. Birds and some bunnies were in the nearby landscape. The b&b was very clean, organized with sight seeing brochures to help us visit places. Restaurant info too. The shower was great with good water pressure. The washer and dryer is a plus. Comfortable beds. Grape vine orchards to walk through. We felt at home there.

Our stay at this VRBO in the Coulee Region was terrific. Greg was an excellent host. Rental property was well furnished and very comfortable for a two-person stay. One of the hardest choices was selecting from multiple locations to have morning coffee! Enjoyed the surroundings very much that included the three varieties of grapes being grown on site along with wildlife (rabbits and birds). Would certainly stay here again if traveling through this area.

We stayed at the cottage for a long weekend away and it was just perfect. The location is far enough away from La Crosse to be out in the country and close enough to go into town to shop and dine. The surroundings are quiet and beautiful. The cottage was well appointed and the bed was super comfy. We would definitely come back.

This property is a gem. My wife and I have stayed at at least 10 Vrbo's and I would say this is the nicest. The view is spectacular!
The place is SUPER clean. The owner has thought of everything.
On a side note, two years ago we had a reservation to stay here. We had a elderly parent emergency two days before our planed stay. We canceled through Vrbo and understood we would loose our deposit (rightly so). The owner contacted us and asked why we would not be able to make it. After hearing our situation he gave us a full refund. Who does that!

This is a lovely property in a beautiful setting! My partner enjoyed the vineyard (being an owner of a winery himself) and along with everything being tidy and clean - it was easy to get to. Greg was a wonderful host!

Great thought went into the setup of this wonderful rental. We were greeted with a loaf of homemade bread and bottle of wine from the vineyard! The view from the windows and yard is amazing. While we didn't need it, I loved that it had a washer and dryer. This part of WI is beautiful! Rolling hills, cute farms and next to the river. Downtown La Crosse is great too, wish we'd had more time to explore. We'd love to return!

This was a beautiful location! The host was very accommodating. I enjoyed the private tour of the Vineyard. It was very educational. I was there for a rest after a surgery. I appreciated the wine & fresh bread! Having the fire prepared for me was much appreciated!! I will definitely recommend this vacation rental to others.

This cottage is as described, Greg was quick to respond and made sure lights were on because we go there in the dark. Perfect location for us as we were there for a family wedding. We enjoyed the time including our coffee on the patio. Would stay there again! Thanks for the wine and bread. Would highly recommend at stay at this cottage.

Beautiful place
The cottage was very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. So many well thought out details. The grounds were serene. A view of grape vines right out the front window. Birds shared their songs in the front yard. Our host was most gracious. We had fresh bread and a bottle of wine waiting for us. Both were amazing! Altogether a great experience. A true hidden gem! We will return again in the future.

This property was the perfect place to come back to after hiking and exploring around LaCrosse. It was cozy and clean. George and Donna even left us a bottle of wine and homemade bread. They had the fire stove ready for us to enjoy a fire.
We also checked out stoddard and enjoyed dinner at The Thirsty Turtle and had ice cream at the local ice cream shop.
Looking forward to our next stay here.
