It was perfect for our group. The decor was beautiful, the kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable, and the game room was a hit with adults, teens, and kids. The bunk beds in the playroom and the swinging bed on the second deck were all great. It was the best time to go to Broken Bow because the weather and fishing were perfect. The hot tub was very clean and set at the right temperature. Everyone gave the house and surrounding area 5 stars!!!

Gorgeous and luxurious- yet comfortable for our 4 grandchildren. We loved every bit of our stay. We were supposed to go out to eat on Saturday night but decided we had a much better atmosphere at the cabin so we picked up food and stayed in. We had no Internet when we arrived so I emailed that night because it wasn’t an emergency by any means, and I actually received an email back that evening that somebody would be by in the morning to fix it and they were. A couple of suggestions for the future would be if the management company could have a highchair or a porta crib available ahead of time. We have stayed at many cabins and this was the first one that did not offer that so we had to pack those which are large things to travel with. Also directions on how to run the television remotes would’ve been helpful. I downloaded the app, but could not find that information. Fortunately, I am somewhat tech savvy, so was able to figure it out once they came and reset the router for Internet. Those are mere suggestions and would never keep me from coming back to stay at this gorgeous home. My entire family loved it and begged for us to come again, and we definitely will! We even saw some beautiful deer on Saturday morning! Communication with management throughout was top notch and the house appeared to be brand new it was in impeccable condition! we spent so much time outside as the weather was beautiful and all of us said it reminded us of Colorado! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

The night we arrived, there was a really bad storm that knocked down all the patio lights. The property management company was amazingly responsive and had everything back up and working the next day. We had everything we needed and cooked our own meals most of the week. Overall, we had a fabulous time!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay and it had all the amenities that we could possibly need. The hot tub was amazing and we really enjoyed relaxing in it. The cabin is located at the perfect location and easily accessible with only 2 entry steps to the main level. This was very helpful for us as we have a handicap family member. He had no issues getting in and around the cabin which was a huge blessing. Thank you so much for the amazing stay!

Enjoyed our stay at The Lightning Bug Lodge! The house was perfect for our family, we each had our own bedroom and bath so it was great. Kitchen and living area were perfect for all 9 of us and we enjoyed the outdoor areas as well. Would definitely stay here again!

This property was everything we were looking for on our weekend away with family and friends. Hot tub, games, entertainment space inside and out, fire pit for campfire (with stockpile of wood provided on site) and full kitchen to cook for large group. Beds were comfy, hot water was endless, linens and towels were great! We had everything we needed! The host was quick to reply to any communication we had and we would definitely recommend this property!

Reviewer Comments: We had a great time with family during our stay overall but wanted to note that the cabin was not ready for check in at 3, as previously stated. We arrived shortly after 4 and the cleaning service was still finishing up. We didn’t want to intrude, however, were thinking the home would be ready to go since we were an hour after check in time. The towels/linens also smelled of mildew after using them from exiting the shower. We ended up re-washing several to help freshen them. We would also suggest adding some thicker pillows and more heavy blankets to the bedrooms. The current pillows on the beds were very flat and all of us had to fold them for more neck support. The current blankets on the beds are fine, however, it got quite cool at night, so it might be helpful especially for the winter months. It was a lovely home and the bathrooms were great. Thank you!

The bunks were perfect for the guys and I loved how all the bedrooms had a private bathroom suited for two. The cabin had all the amenities we could imagine from toiletries, a fully equipped kitchen for cooking our meals, towels, beautiful outdoor oasis with a fire pit and hot tub and a gas grill. I would definitely book this cabin again and the host even had someone check on me when I fell. It was in a fantastic location and I was able to enjoy coffee and ice cream, had choices of restaurants and liquor stores.

Everything was clean and beautiful. We had a couple of questions and the rental agent was very responsive and helpful. If you are hoping to put children in the adorable bunk beds, just know they are located in an open loft that overhangs the den area. Noise might be an issue. Also, three of the four bedrooms face the front of the house and there are not heavy curtains in them. It’s very light in those rooms early in the morning.

The location was conveniently located w/ shops nearby for souvenirs etc. We cooked all wknd long, but noted there were restaurants nearby as well. When we did not have enough propane for the grill, all it took was a phone call and someone promptly made a delivery. The place was exceptionally clean. My favorites were the electric fireplace on the outside deck and the large sized swing on the second floor to relax and enjoy nature. The living room space is a little compact for a large group, but there is alternative kitchen and outdoor space. The second guest bedroom on the first floor (w/o the fireplace) did make a lot of noise with minimal movement. Otherwise, no c/o's and would return.
