Nestled in Ohio, this attractive condo for $125 per night is a great option for your next break. **PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING** The Carriage House is the ideal home base for those that are planning to spend more time in the great outdoors, rather than indoors. This petite studio suite offers simple living with the basic amenities. While the Carriage House was added at a later date as a residence that was separate from the farmhouse, the farm itself and main barn, dates back to the late Civil War Era. It also sits along the John Hunt Morgan Heritage Trail, the route Confederate Brigadier General Morgan took during his raid on Southern OH. With it's rolling pastures, it will be too easy to get lost in a daydream on the back patio. The shared walking trails offer a quiet hike through the woods. On the other side of the woods, you'll find a small catch and release fishing pond, with bluegill, bass, and a few catfish. And in the evenings, the fire ring is a great place to unwind and maybe catch a glimpse of the deer that frequent the pasture on the hillside. The Carriage House is also centrally located to everything the Hocking Hills region has to offer! Ash Cave/Hocking Hills State Park - 24 min (17mi) Nelsonville - 10 min (6.5mi) Lake Hope State Park & Dining Lodge - 10 min (7.2mi) Uncle Buck's Riding Stable & Dance Barn - 20 min (12.4mi) Historic Moonville Tunnel - 19 min (10.7mi) Athens (Home of Ohio University) - 26 min (16mi) **PLEASE NOTE BEFORE BOOKING** - This is a 250sqft Studio Suite (Tiny Home), which means some appliances are small like the fridge and water heater. - This rental does not have wifi. - Hiking trails and catch and release pond are shared with 2 other rentals (As shown in photo #35)

Had a lovely tiny home experience. Close to all the sights, and we were very happy we got to see them all. Loved getting to bring our dog with us. Did have some extra visitors as we were invaded by thousands of dying lady bugs. Overall it was a wonderful experience. Hot tub and fire at night plus a nice cozy bed to get into. Thanks Shannon and Nick.

Great cabin and location to mountain biking at Lake Hope and Bailey’s. It had nice trails on property to walk our dog and enjoy the autumn colors. Morning coffee in the hot tub was the best!

Very comfortable little cabin for our two day stay in Hocking Hills. Loved soaking in the hot tub after long days of hiking and the bed was so comfy and soft. Nothing fancy, but met our needs. My only suggestion would be a swivel arm on the TV so we could watch from the comfy bed.

The carriage house was amazing! Clean and as described. The property is also beautiful with plenty to explore. The hot tub and fire pit are nice touches. If you’re looking for a nice, quite get away that won’t break the bank, this is it!

It is a small cottage that really gives you what you need to get away and enjoy each other and nature. We have Verizon and had enough cell service for calls. Owners provided tv, DVD player and an assortment of movies. Check in and out were easy enough and binder gave great recommendations for food and activities. We did a lot of hiking and the hot tub was great to help relax after having a great time outside. Also the owners created a nice trail around the property so we enjoyed exploring that too.

Perfect for a quiet restful getaway! Loved the hot tub and very comfy bed. Beautiful fields surrounding the cabin -- we really enjoyed watching the many butterflies on the wildflowers! Easy drive to Hocking for a day of hiking.

Beautiful location and super close to both Athens and Hocking Hills parks. Made it really easy to hit the trails in the morning and come back to clean up before going out to get dinner and drinks. Super cozy space and very nicely stocked, always a nice surprise to see many clean towels in addition to paper towels and TP, garbage bags, all the stuff you don't want to have to go out to pick up at a grocery store while on vacation. Would love to stay here again, sometime when the weather is cooler and we can actually make use of the very nice hot tub right on the back porch!

Check in process was easy. The house was very well kept and had all the essentials for a wonderful getaway. The kitchenette had all the supplies needed to cook, and a binder of info on nearby places to eat and things to do was even provided. There is a LOVELY hot tub and fire pit in the backyard as well as nearby hiking trails. Would definitely stay again. Nick is a great and responsive host!

My Wife and I were absolutely pleased with the cabin.It was clean and inviting and peaceful.The Hot tub was awesome after a full day of hiking.We would definitely stay here angain and plan to do so in the future.

This little carriage house was perfect as a base camp for our weekend getaway. We really enjoyed having the kitchenette available for storing our snacks/drinks and the coffee in the morning. The bed was comfortable and warm, and the hot tub was fantastic for relaxing in after a long day of chilly hikes. We would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was small, but it wasn't our focus, it was perfect for evenings with a fire ring and hot tub. Trails were neat and the pond was a little low, as to be expected. Overall a great place to spend the evenings, after spending the rest of the day exploring Hocking Hills area attractions. Will be back for sure.

This was a great little spot for my wife and I to stay for our Hocking Hills trip. It was on the small side but completely doable for two people and a shorter trip. The property is beautiful and is only about 30 minutes from Hocking Hills State Park - and the drive there is very easy and enjoyable. Definitely recommend this place for future travelers!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The place was easy to find and adorable! The bed was sooo comfortable, it was like sleeping on a cloud! The hot tub was a huge plus as well! Perfect for that evening glass of wine and morning coffee! Would definitely recommend!

This property was exactly as described! We ended up checking in a day late because we were too exhausted from our wedding to drive anywhere. We enjoyed the hot tub a lot and even relaxed watching a movie one night. It was small as described in the listing, but we wanted to spend most our time away anyways. We really enjoyed ourselves and hope To be back again! Our only suggestion would be to mount the tv on a moveable arm so you can watch from bed too.
