About this house rental
Situated in Mountain Village, this attractive house for $300 per night is a great choice for your next break. Our 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom cabin style home offers very affordable accommodations, only minutes from Telluride. Secluded 2 acre lot at 10,000 feet, with fabulous views of the San Juans Mountains, towering aspens and spectacular sunsets enjoyed through the wall-to-wall windows. All the amenities, including a gas and wood fireplace, large high-def TV, high-speed wireless internet, wifi and plenty of parking. At half the price of in-town facilities, you will appreciate easy access to Telluride's festivals and fabulous dining yet relax in peace and quite at the end of the day. The world class Telluride Golf and Ski Resort is just five minutes away. Bike, hike or just hang out at one the world's most historic resort towns. This is your home away from home. Our long term tenant and caretaker lives in a completely separate unit in the downstairs. He works in the service industry in Telluride. We feel it is important to support affordable housing for the town's employees. Over the ten years we have been sharing our home, our guests have come to appreciate what we have. Seclusion, privacy and value. A great many return year after year. Location: Our home is in the Ski Ranches, (300 Beaver Pond Ln. Telluride CO 81435) one mile from the entrance to Mountain Village Ski & Golf Resort. We are five miles from the town of Telluride with access to Hwy #145. The town is accessible by road or by Gondola. We often drive to the parking in Mtn. Village (free) and ride the Gondola (free) to the ski area or into town for shopping or dining. Most everything from the Gondola is within walking distance and there is no hassle with parking.

This rustic home has it all with its unique layout and gorgeous setting. Being surrounded by the beautiful golden aspen was heaven to us. Not to mention the wonderful windows that brought the outside, inside. Plus, there is a view of a mountain and even more views of mountains just down the road. We also enjoyed the trails that were just steps from the property. The house has plenty of room and the king-sized bed was very comfortable. Mountain Village is just a couple miles down the road. There is a free parking garage where you can take the gondola down to Telluride. It is very handy and relaxing to ride the gondola. The views are amazing. I would definitely recommend this rustic home. We will be back!!

We had a wonderfully relaxing week in your home. We loved how it was off the beaten path from Mountain Village and downtown Telluride, but still very close by and convenient. We rented a car so we could go back and forth to the village, where we rode the free gondola every day. Kitchen was well stocked and beds comfy. Love the deck with the views and the beautiful hike to the water tower from the property. We had four of us in the three bedrooms and house was plenty spacious. It is rustic which we prefer. Our weather was fantastic. If you are a hiker, the Bear Falls Trail is a must.

This home provided a great, affordable option for our summer vacation to Telluride. This trip included my wife, 3 kids and mother-in-law. The home served as a great base as our days were spent exploring Telluride and the surrounding areas.

We were able to rent as there was a cancellation. We wanted to experience Telluride in winter and the snow was excellent. Our Minivan didn't handle well in the snow so we rented a Jeep Rubicon in town. Other than that minor bump at the start (and we did read that 4-wheel drive was necessary but took the chance), we enjoyed our stay -- the house is very comfortable for a family and is dog friendly. Telluride is a special place year round just a bit remote.

A very beautiful setting amongst the aspens with lovely mountain views. A rustic, funky, homey house with great stonework and wood beams. Was very comfortable for 3 couples at a reasonable price. Our one suggestion is to please add a blue box for recyclables.

This property is very nice in a quiet little neighborhood. There is a hiking trail that goes right beside the home great for snowshoe hiking. We did have a small issue with pet hair from the previous renter but Mike the owner was very understanding and great in taking care of it with the cleaning crew. Overall the house itself is very nice and unique for sure. Would recommend 10/10 to stay here for your telluride vacation.

My experience with Mike (the property owner) was absolutely amazing. He is very thoughtful and helpful. He was also just a text away to address any of our questions/concerns. He has a gem of a property with a secluded feel and great views, and so close to the Telluride ski resort. My family and I were extremely comfortable during our stay. I would go back in a heartbeat.

This home was absolutely perfect for my family. We brought our dog and loved our stay. The house backs to what feels like a private hiking trail and offers great privacy. The friendly neighborhood dogs gave us a great welcome and our dog felt right at home! This an amazing place to stay and great proximity to all things Telluride.

Great Stay in the Mountains!
We visited Telluride in July for some cool weather! Nice house right outside of town in a neighborhood about a mile past the ski area. Great stay - house was accommodating - enough room, 3 bathrooms, w/d, full kitchen —beautiful scenery! Nice to sit on porch and drink coffee. It was easy to get to town to shop and eat. Also easy to get to hiking trails and to the ski area. The ski area has gondolas that take to to town so you do not have to drive.
Would definitely stay there again - just lovely!

Amazing & memorial time!
Thanks so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We had the most amazing time and the house was cozy and beyond comfortable. We came up to have a week getaway and decided to get married in the most amazing place. We will remember this experience for the rest of our lives and are already looking for dates to book again.

This cabin was in a great location to Mountain Village, Telluride and the surrounding area. Everything in the cabin itself is exactly as advertised in the listing. We loved the hiking trails right off the property. We would definitely stay again.
