The Flute Player is one of six cottages in this small community of rentals. It is in the heart of Medicine Park! Enjoy a short stroll to the shops, galleries & restaurants, or a short drive to the many activities the area has to offer. Flute Player is perfect for your weekend getaway, romantic retreat, reunions or military graduations. Some of the cabin amenities include: fully equipped kitchen, AC & heat, screened in porch, TV with satellite & complimentary coffee, tea & bottled water. Check in is 3:00 pm or after, However we do offer an early check in at 1:00 pm for $25 Wi-Fi is hugh968445 Password is league40volume We also offer a laundry service. We will pick up your clothes, wash & dry, then return them the next day. Let us know if you are interested. Double occupancy is included in the price. After 2 guests, each additional guest is $10/night. Pets are allowed for $20 per pet per night.Guests are required to pick up after their pet. Friday & Saturday nights are a 2 night minimum. Lawton Pest Control services both our cabins each & every month.

Sadly, on the night of our arrival Medicine Park Public Works turned off the water to our cottage in order to fix a nearby leak. Due to this, we were unable to stay through no fault of the owners. Before we realized the city would be unable to fix the water issues, we went inside the cottage and it was perfect. Clean, cute, and just as described. Location is great! The self check-in process was easy. The owners were easy to reach, responded IMMEDIATELY, apologized (even though this was out of their control), didn't charge us, offered to make it up to us down the road... I would love to go back and spend time in this cute cottage!

This was perfect for my short hiking trip. Comfortable and clean with everything you need in the heart of Médecine Park, just outside the Wichita Mountain animal refuge with its many trails.

We stay in medicine park often and this was one of the best if not the best cabins we’ve stayed at. BK Delbert were great hosts and very friendly and accommodating! We’re looking forward to staying there again!

Me & my bestie had a great short stay here. We've stayed in many cabins in Medicine Park but I loved the location of this one. It had everything we needed. The screened in porch was definitely a fave!

Wanted a quiet weekend away and this was perfect. Walk to restaurants and shops. Wichita Mt reserve was short drive. The town of Medicine Park is full of history. Met the owner, Joey. Great host and hostess

Stayed in the cabin overnight so we could have extended time in the Wichita mountains. Loved the peaceful cabin. The kitchen was just the right size and everything seemed well cared for. My teenage daughter loved the loft sleeping space. We enjoyed the added bonus of walking around in Medicine Park along the river and on to the bakery for breakfast. We will be back!

My husband and I came for 3 days/2 nights to explore Medicine Park and the Wichita Mountain Refuge The cabin exceeded our expectations in cleanliness, utilization of space, and just all the little special touches! The screened in porch was wonderful, and the grill provided was very nice! Short walk to Medicine Park stores & restaurants. Short drive to the wildlife refuge. Communication with the owner was excellent. We highly recommend this property!

Everything went well with the following exceptions. A blender that didn’t work. Two hand electric mixers with out any paddles or blade wasn’t really like the procedure of cleaning dishes and silverware. We did clean them.

This cabin was adorable. Smelled good, nicely cooked in the hot Oklahoma weather. Ask the little touches were nice Like complimentary soaps, coffee.. water. Responsive owners.

Property owners had thought of everything except satellite went out in the storm and there wasn’t any cell service and no dvd player 😢. Literally the only missing item.

Overall everything was great, clean, only a few steps to the water, easy parking, there is a loft with a bed that would be fun for kids to sleep, overall a great place.

We loved our stay at the Flute Player!! We were exploring and hiking the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge, which was only 5 minutes away. Super convenient!! When we were at the house, we spent most of our time in the comfy screened porch. The bed was so comfortable, the kitchen well equipped for meal prep and the owners were so nice and gave us great recommendations. One thing that was not a big issue for us, but that I guess I didn’t realize from the photos, was that this unit was up a few steps back from the place where we were able to park. We would definitely stay there again!!

Our family came for our third annual Memorial Day vacation to the flute player at medicine park! The root ball was a blast, local food and shopping was just right and the flute player was a cozy little spot for us to land in between all the fun! We do appreciate that this charming cottage has everything we need to be comfortable, relax and enjoy Medicine Park, Lawton and the wildlife refuge! The wildflowers were spectacular this year, and we saw large herds of Buffalo and longhorn. Every time we come to the flute player we know we are in for a treat!

Had everything we needed for a quick one night stay while visiting Medicine Park and the Wichita mountains wildlife refuge. Loved the screened in porch. It was the perfect time of the year to enjoy it. Will definitely come back!

This quaint little cabin was just as described. It is cute and spotless. Everything you need is there. We ate almost all of our dinners on the front porch. It’s screened in and has a fan and TV. Right across from the walking bridge into town. Pretty much perfect!

The property was spotless, all furniture, appliances, fixtures worked correctly. Well appointed. All we needed was our clothes. Very easy access to the walk across bridge for easy access to East Lake Drive and all the fun.

Perfect house-walking distance to town restaurants/shops. Very small town but the kids had a blast playing in bath lake and hiking in wichita wildlife refuge.

Our stay was great in the little cottage. Checking in was easy too. It was cozy and comfortable for the family and our pups. We especially enjoyed sitting in the screened porch watching classic movies and sipping on our beverages.
We did have to use a grill from the neighbor cottage because there wasn’t one available at the time. Also, we made biscuits one morning and there wasn’t a baking sheet pan but we did use the glass baking dish available.
DK was great to communicate with and answered all my questions. We had a great time and will return!

We had a terrific stay at the flute player in medicine park , it was decorated well , the bed was extremely comfortable and we had all the amenities we needed already there for us ! The bath tub was excellent also :) Communication with the owner was prompt and courteous and answered any questions we had. We will definetly be back sometime it was a perfect experience !

The perfect little kitchen made it super easy to cook dinner on Saturday (everything closes super early and we wanted a late dinner!) and the coffee they left for us was GREAT! It was surrounded by beautiful historical shops and buildings and it’s right on the River that runs through Medicine Park. We appreciated the screened in porch with the TV, we were able to sit out there and watch the games while enjoying the weather and still have some privacy. We would recommend this place to anyone, and we will be back!

I stayed here for my once-in-a-lifetime Wichita mountain elk tag. I thoroughly enjoyed this cabin. My wife and two young sons stayed before the hunt and my dad and nephew once the hunt started. Everyone loved the cabin! It's in a great location in medicine park. You're within walking distance of the restaurants in town, but it's also very easy to leave quickly and go to the park. The hosts were very easy to get ahold of and responded very quickly. I needed to add a night and they were very accommodating and nice to deal with.

Perfect cabin for a couple. We were easily able to walk to downtown Medicine Park for dinner, etc. Easy drive to the wildlife refuge. Great trip!

The cabin and hosts were awesome. They had all the things needed (coffee, filters, creamer, hot tea, honey, SOFT toilet paper, linens and towels were awesome, extra pillows, extra blankets, iron and board, magnifying mirror with light in the bathroom, etc.). Overall our weekend was amazing. The little town of Medicine Park was cute and all within walkable distance.
