Nestled in Ohio, this charming cottage for $250 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Located in the quaint village of Winesburg, in the heart of Ohio's Amish Country, the historic Stone Cottage Inn provides all the amenities of home in a rustic ambiance hard to find anywhere else. The peaceful small-town setting offers our visitors easy access to the general store, pizza shop, coffee shop, ice cream parlor, antique store, post office, and the park. Take a stroll on the brick sidewalks, and put your feet up by the fire while you listen to the sound of horses passing by. Two bedrooms, one sleeping loft, living room, dining room, fully furnished kitchen, laundry room, enclosed patio, and a finished walk-out basement are just some of the things you will enjoy while staying at the cottage. A desk with a laser printer is in the lower level for our guests to use. The cottage easily accommodates up to 12 people with two queen beds in each of the bedrooms, and one full bed and two twin beds in the sleeping loft. There are also queen-sized pull-out sofa beds in the living room and basement to accommodate four additional guests. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking for 12+ people, and includes a Kitchenaid stand mixer with a paddle, wire whisk, and bread hook attachments. A short stroll on the brick sidewalks of Winesburg will take you to the general store, pizza shop, ice cream parlor, antique store, post office, and the park. Check-in is anytime after 4:00 PM. Check-out is anytime before 11:00 AM. Your stay at the Cottage includes the entire house. We offer a contactless check-in experience for our guests and maintain a strict level of cleanliness to comply with COVID-safe guidelines. The entire Cottage is sanitized after each stay. Impeccably restored 19th century home with modern amenities and historic charm! This house had everything we were looking for when planning our family Christmas getaway. Good off-street parking in a beautiful walkable little town. There is a lovely church in town that had a Christmas Eve candlelight service we walked to as well. Park next door for the little kids and 10 minutes away from the Sheiyah market in historic Berlin. All in all, a wonderful place to stay and we are so very glad we found it!

This was our first annual siblings vacation since our father passed July 2022. We picked end of October into November for lack of busy season and it was perfect as was the house and property. We brought our doodles with us and they also had the best time, the fenced in yard was perfect! We truly recommend this property and host!! Six ladies enjoyed our autumn trip to the Stone Cottage. The kitchen has whatever you might need and the space was meticulously cleaned and organized. We smiled when we saw that the plates were stacked every other color. I thought the online description was spot on. I’d love to come back!

The house is beautiful and so clean. You have everything you need there at the home. The Beacon Cafe had delicious coffee and food. We also got to walk down to the ball field behind the house and enjoy a game. We will definitely be back.

I met my aunt and cousin at the cottage, and we had the best time. It was spotless, so comfortable and absolutely adorable. The Beacon coffee shop next door is a must and they even sell fresh flower bouquets from a farm down the street. We plan on making this an annual event now!

We have stayed here before. This time The fireplace didn’t work. The TV downstairs didn’t work. No DVD player even though we were told there should be one. Otherwise we enjoyed the property.

We had a wonderful time. It was hard leaving the cottage to explore Berlin. The cottage was beautiful. I enjoy evening with the fire. We made all our meals except one lunch out. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. We would of loved a longer stay. We will definitely be back.

Everything was clean and neat. Enough space for our family to hang out, have meals together made in the beautiful kitchen and game time together in the living room. We had fun exploring the antique shops, the pizza at the local pizza place was great and we were close enough to the NFL Football Hall of Fame!

Our Family of 6 stayed at The Stone Cottage in Winesburg. The cottage is just perfect with plenty of space for everyone and is very well appointed with plenty of towels, extra blankets & pillows, a well stocked kitchen and all in such a peaceful atmosphere. The home is so beautiful with the stone walls and exposed beams and fabulous old floors. The town of Winesburg is really neat as well and is perfectly located a short drive from many key Amish Country attractions. We definitely hope to stay again sometime.

The cottage is as beautiful in person as it is in the photos. It’s centrally located to everything in the area which was very convenient. My family went to the Walnut Creek Bethlehem Walk and came back to a warm cozy cottage decorated like it was right out of a Christmas card. The kitchen is fully equipped. We had no trouble finding everything we needed. My only small complaint is the beds could be more comfortable, but everyone’s preference is different so that may just be a me and my chronic pain thing. Otherwise, 5 out of 5, would recommend!!

Felt at home from the moment we opened the door. Very clean, open spacious and still had the historical feel of a historical home. We loved the closeness of the coffee shop next door and the general store where we brought dinner back after long days of shopping and roaming the beautiful country side.

We cannot say enough good things about this property and experience! The host should be rated SUPER, SUPER, SUPER! Extremely clean, beds were so comfortable, the kitchen had everything, plenty of room to move around, the gas log fireplace was so inviting, great location, beautiful historic home, and the list goes on. The little town has everything too. Could only get one TV to work and didn't have much luck with Wi-Fi; however, the whole area is spotty for service AND we aren't very tech savvy. We were able to use the Wi-Fi from the Beacon Cafe next door. We chose not to reach out for assistance on the TV; however, they were very quick to get back to us for something minor for which we did reach out. We were there for 9 nights and can't wait to return next fall! LOVE IT!

The Stone Cottage was above and beyond expectations! Every detail has been covered here including a gate for the stairs, booster seat and a doggy bowl! We were all very impressed by how clean and organized the cottage was. We will definitely be staying here again!
