Saturday mornings during the summer, you can find local grown items at the farmers market on the courthouse green located at Matthews Courthouse. While there, be sure to visit some of the quaint shops to find that unique gift or get a bite to eat at one of the many local restaurants throughout the courthouse area. If this is your first visit stop by the Information Center located next to the library. Also, go to our points of interest in this special town. Historic Yorktown, Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg are about an hour away.
