location and size of deck were the only pluses

the house was absolutely filthy and falling apart. it was by far the worst property I have ever rented in Sunriver. I have been coming here for over 30 years and this experience was the most disappointing. we paid way too much for what we got. in fact I feel like we were scammed and ripped off. I have attached photos to show the condition of the home because I am not sure anyone has recently inspected the property. there were dirt splatters on the window and chew marks on the blinds. the bedroom was atrocious and the closet was filled with unwashed bedding. also you may want to update your photos to show that the dryer has been removed from the home. since the deck is the only attraction someone might want to spend a little time fixing the siding that is coming off in large pieces. I was embarrassed to even have family come over to visit. as a result of this ruined vacation and paying 1800 for only 4 nights I would like to request some financial compensation. we will be following up on this request by phone call as well. please do not let another family experience what we experienced. charge way less or take it off the rental list.

the condo is very conveniently located near Sunriver Village

The property was much more worn/less well-kept than other properties we’ve stayed. The property could use some basic maintenance. Also, it was the first property that I’ve had issues communicating with using booking.com, possibly because it’s a Vacasa rental. not sure, but I messaged them during our stay and never received a response even though. received messages from them since.

Bring your own Saran Wrap, foil, coffee filters, most condiments, and ziplock bags. The place is also very drafty, which may not be an issue in the summer but was in April. Also, while the place states free cancellation, PlEASE read the fine print. We weren’t able to cancel last year when originally booked. we were able to reschedule and pay the added difference.

The property was clean, easy to find and close to amenities.

The property is run down. It was like staying at your great aunts little place. Except it wasn’t free. Everything is old and in need of repair. There’s no insulation, so you’ll hear everything from every part of the house. The mattresses are terrible, there’s not adequate external lighting, the property doesn’t look like it’s regularly cared for, the staircase is wobbly. The bathrooms are and in need of maintenance There’s a lot of unusable space, including all the closets, which has stuff thrown on the floor instead of properly stored. A one star house in a four star location doesn’t make it five stars.

Everything. Especially the hot tub
