We had a very enjoyable stay.
Wonderful ocean view . A nice yard that the deer visited frequently. Very comfortable home with a fully stocked kitchen. Loved having 2 full bathrooms.
The bed pillows should be replaced. They were very flat and extremely yellow stained from lots of use. The fan in the bathroom downstairs did not sound like it was working properly. We notified the rental company and we did not use it while we were there.

Good
The view is spectacular! You can see the whole shoreline from the deck, which is the main draw of this place. The sunset was to die for. The neighborhood is quiet but still in town so everything you need is close-ish. The king and queen size beds are appreciated, and were comfortable. All dishes, pots/pans and utensils were provided. There are also some condiments and spices in the cabinet. There is an Ice maker in the freezer and the tap water tastes good. There is a washer/dryer and detergent provided. The TV has an extra HDMI port and a power strip nearby, so you can connect a laptop for Netflix or whatever streaming service you have. The TV was still in store mode so I gave it a quick adjustment and rough calibration - You're Welcome. The Internet connection / wifi has enough bandwidth for multiple devices to stream HD content at the same time. Overall, this place provided a good value for the view, size of the home, and a place that accepts pets.
This place is 100% "Grandma's house". Some of the appliances are 40-50 years old, but they work fine. Not a big deal, and some elderly folks may even appreciate it, however it is not exactly kid friendly. There are delicate things and glass everywhere. The side tables in the living room are top heavy and made of marble. I bumped into one and it fell over, making a dent in the wall. There was an identical dent right near it so it has happened before. I had to move the tables out of the way to prevent any further accidents. There is a narrow, rod-iron spiral staircase leading to the 2nd floor (where the master bedroom is). Queen room is downstairs. Our dog would not dare climb it, and I wouldn't want her to anyway. She is 55lbs, and carrying her up and down the stairs was very cumbersome and not really safe, but we couldn't leave her downstairs by herself. Big consideration here if you have a large dog, unless you stay in the queen room. The yard is nice to have for pets, but the back porch and yard are not closed off, so pets have to remain on leash. Most of the backyard is at a steep grade. One of the railings on the porch is not fastened to the house on one end, so when I went to lean on it, I nearly broke it and fell into the yard. This is a serious safety issue that needs to be fixed immediately. The front door must be shut firmly or it will open itself again. Had a couple close calls with our dog almost sneaking out. There is no air conditioning, which is the norm for most homes at the coast. However most of the windows here can't be opened, so in the summer, you need to be mindful of opening the ones that you can in the afternoon to get the house cool enough for the evening. The agreement states no more than 2 cars can be parked here, but there is only enough room for one car. The garage is not for guest use and you only get a car-width space between the garage and the road.

Great place if you're not too old.
We liked the view and the spaciousness--except for the small bedroom-- of the home. The kitchen was well-equipped. We were very lucky with the weather. If it had been foggy as the day we left, it would have been less enjoyable.
The downstairs bedroom was difficult to maneuver--too much furniture in the way. Also, the mattress pad slid off the bed causing a person to fall out. We would have liked safety bars in the showers. We are two elderly couples; thankfully, one couple was agile enough to climb the stairs. The ad did not make clear that one bedroom and bathroom were upstairs and accessed by the spiral staircase.

Perfect view with extra surprise amenities.
I liked that even though it was someone's house, they still provided towels, bedding, and even a puppy welcome basket.
Nothing that I can think of that impacted our stay.

It was good for a short time as we were gone showing out of state guests from the east coast the Or.
No breakfast and the location was good for the view, but access to the beach was not good.
The furniture could be updated and the shrubs could be cut back.

Beautiful and spacious house
Lots of room, very clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Recliners are comfy too. I love the history of the house and the furniture that they have posted on the wall. Lots of cooking supplies like pots and pans and baking equipment too. We loved the view, bbq, beds, and kitchen the most. Love the short walk to the beach and how close we are to Safeway and the Casino.
The only negative thing I can really say is the water pressure in both bathrooms showers is low so showering was a little weird. Upstairs bedroom had a heater on wheels, because the other heating was out of service upstairs, and the little heater was missing a wheel so it couldn’t stand up for use. But honestly we are going to be planning our annual beach trip around the availability of this place from now on 😀
