The hotel is very nice, the restaurant was closed. We arrived around 6 pm only to discover we had to get back into the car to drive back to town for dinner. It was a lengthy drive to get to the hotel and get back in the car was disappointing.

Closed restaurant as mentioned above. It’s to expensive for the value for me, but perhaps not for others.

Food was excellent-- both breakfast & dinner. The bartender was great & created a version of a strawberry mojito for us that was wonderful. All food is locally sourced & high quality. The massage therapist (Debra) was excellent. Views on the property are stunning. Our room had a mountain view that was lovely & if you open the balcony doors you can hear the fountain & frogs at night. Room was spacious & beds comfortable. The 24 hour access to the pantry is great. It's well stocked with water, soda, wine, (coffee in the morning & fruit)...and there are salty snacks & chocolate available as well. It's nice to take a stroll around the property & take photos--- there's a fire pit & helicopter pad.

1. Check in was very awkward. The two women behind the computer seemed distracted or just aloof-- didn't welcome us, didn't introduce themselves, didn't give any details about the hotel (like where the restaurant, pool or massage room were located). We had to ask different staff members at different times the first day to show us where to go. Another guest the second day approached me to ask how my check in was because she and her husband had a poor experience as well. We were surprised that a hotel of this caliber would have such a lack of hospitality at the front desk. As my stay continued, I talked to other guests who were disappointed as well. 2. Shower curtain was hanging crooked & not on all hooks (see pic). Bathroom hook on the ground with hole in wall exposed & debris on floor. How did this go unnoticed by housekeeping? 3. Sign at breakfast says "please be seated & we'll be right with you". We waited more than 5 minutes & when nobody came, I had to approach the kitchen to wave to get the someone's attention. 4. No towels at pool, so I had to call front desk to get someone to supply them. I was approached by 2 other guests at the pool who were disappointed with service too. One had to call to get the heat turned on for the jacuzzi! Why doesn't staff have a daily checklist to make sure things like replenishing towels or turning on jacuzzi are done? 5. Our last day while we were having breakfast a party planning company arrived & started putting up a tent for a wedding that took up one entire side of pool area. It was loud & distracting for those of us eating & I felt bad for guests who now wouldn't have access to the pool area. Guests went to front desk to complain since they paid for pool access & it was now limited & not really safe.

My husband and I were looking for a unique experience to celebrate our 15 year anniversary. I had stumbled upon Hotel Domestique and it was an amazing experience! Breakfast was awesome, nice guest pantry and ability to drive their complimentary BMW was over the top. The room was spacious and very clean! Can't wait to visit again.

Love the location, the style of the property. The staff is great! Very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was included and and very good...was more like a brunch and every day changed on the special. The pool is so nice...it’s very quiet and so many place you can enjoy outside/inside. Complementary BMW sport cars!!! My husband had a blast trying 2 of them. Drove in Greenville for dinner one night with one! Jacuzzi too was nice and a complementary pantry for drinks...

We came on week so it was very quiet and almost alone on the property. The bad thing was they are having some construction so it kind bother but only if you want to stay all day on the property. The restaurant also was close so we had to go in Greenville or traveler rest! But at the end it worked out. The beds are not the best comfortably you can sleep in. Finally the breakfast was great and staff very nice but the service was okay! (Cleaning the tables, having sugar or spoons, towel available...)
