Very friendly service, clean rooms, and convenient location, but feels more like a motel than a B&B.
The innkeeper was exceptionaly friendly, but not too intrusive. The room was clean, breakfasts were tasty, especially the homemade bread! It was conveniently located.
The heat in the room was turned off prior to our arrival. Even though we asked that it be turned back on, it never worked. It was unseasonably cool and rainy for early June and we were freezing! Also, even though the room was clean and comfortable and the rates were competitive for other B&B's in the area, this felt more like a converted old motel than other B&B's I've stayed at in Taos. My friend who came with me, stated she would defintely stay here again. I would not..

The room was comfortable and the innkeeper was very pleasant and seemed like he really cares about his guests. Homemade breakfast was also very good.

I loved this place for its inspiring decor and friendly staff.
it’s a hidden treasure with a funky, artistic vibe. My king room was delightful, bright and vibrantly decorated. Breakfast was simple yet elegant, a fire in the kiva fireplace and beautiful pottery.
I am mobility limited and the walkways were broken in places.

All in all it was a welcoming and comfortable stay with a very generous host.
I traveled to Taos in October when cottonwoods and aspens were golden and the weather was crisp and gorgeous. Robert was a lovely host and the breakfasts were quite good, with quiches of various kinds and homemade breads (wonderful zuccini bread!). I really enjoyed the Native American furnishings in my room and some of the quirky, creative, decorating touches on the grounds--eg. painted flowers and figures on the adobe. Since the pool was closed for the season, I was able to take some time to write under the ancient cottonwoods on the property and relished the quiet at the time I was there.
I was surprised not to have some attention to safety bars or holds in the bathrooms. I thought those were required by law. I injured my knee on the trip and felt less stable, so really could have used one. Also, the steep grade of the usual exit from the property did scrape the bottom of my car--and it called for having to navigate around it. As a coffee addict, I would like to have had access to an early cup of coffee--either by in room coffee or being able to get coffee before breakfast was served at 8. There was a coffee shop within a quick drive, so I could avail myself of that.

Good location, only a mile and a half from the main part of Taos. Robert was very accommodating and friendly. He answered all our questions we had about the area and beyond! We left the Inn after a couple days and enjoyed a delicious breakfast that morning! Thank again Robert!
