Good location. Reasonable price
Room was above bar and noisy but got quiet at 10 pm and 2pm Friday. Limited parking. Bed very uncomfortable

The one women, whom I've met before, waited for me to arrive before she left. Five stars for her.
I've had pleasurable experiences with staff and accommodations in the past.
This visit I was a single female occupant alone. I've spent years in OC who had the chance to just relax after a year and a half of taking care of 81yr. Dad 24/7.
Selling point for me was wifi and the beautiful view/atmosphere.
The ocean side was blustery but the bay was calm. The wifi they promised had to be reset every 2 to 10 minutes.
I called the next day with hopes of someone being around to do something about it and was greeted with a bad attitude.
Him and I were the only people there. I was left feeling vulnerable, staying my first and second night alone with no one around. If needed anything was told there was an emergency number on the lobby door.
I should've just gone camping and saved $500.
I went home more stressed than when I left.

Leslie at the desk was wonderful! My room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
No elevator so if you can't manage steps, you should request a unit on the bottom level

Fantastic location and very walkable to boardwalk. MR Ducks never disappoints for drinks and food. Great rooms with kitchenette.
Could have done without waking up Saturday morning to see piles of vomit on Talbot street in front of hotel, but kind of goes with territory when the hotel is attached to popular night spot.

I love the location. The room has everything you need while your on vacation. Real comfortable stay. My family will definitely stay again.

The location and cleanliness was excellent.
We asked for extra towels and received attitude because we didn't do room service. I didn't think room service was a requirement for extra towels. I do not need room service until I leave.

I really liked the Talbot Inn. My band was playing the weekend in OC and I just needed a clean affordable room. The bonus was the kitchenette, which made it more like a suite or an apartment. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Friendly staff. No complaints!

Almost everything about this stay was amazing. Check in was a breeze. Staff was super nice! The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The surrounding are was quiet, even on New Years Eve.

Great view of the bay from the balcony.
Was mildly annoyed to be awakened at dawn by fishermen but had an excuse to see the sunrise on the ocean.

Enjoy the clean rooms the location and the lookout at the Bay Side.
What I didn't like is it the end of time that you have to leave and go back home. I love the Talbot Inn. I stayed there many of times and never have had an issue.

Location was very good. In walking distance to boardwalk. Plenty of local stores and restaurants.
Room had a very strong musty odor, which didn’t dissipate until the morning we were leaving. Towels looked old and worn, bed was very uncomfortable. We arrived on Thursday afternoon, the house cleaner did not show up until Saturday at around noon. All these issues are extremely concerning during this time of COVID-19.

We stayed on the 3rd floor....A bit of a hike but the view was worth it...

Location was good, facilities were clean.
Parking lot was a little crammed. Neighbors sat out on porch smoking all night.

The front desk person was wonderful. Very friendly, very helpful both times I went in. I was directed to an out of the way family style restaurant for breakfast, and an awesome beer and steak joint for dinner. It was COVID time, so the pool was open, but didn't seem too inviting. Don't know why, it was probably me. Others were swimming.
I was blown away that it was so quiet at Virginia Beach! After Ocean City, this was truly a vacation destination. You MUST stay at the beach, and only at the beach. Go here. Nice people, a 3 star hotel, but you won't be inside all that much.

The rooms are clean, staff is friendly and the location is close to the boardwalk. About 3 blocks away. You also get a beautiful view of the bay.
Parking could be a little difficult at times .

Clean room!!! At least 4 waterfront restaurants and bars within walking distance. Boardwalk within walking distance. Was the cheapest room rate we found online.
