Clean, comfortable beds, Great value.

Clean, comfortable beds, close to our destination, friendly staff. We left behind an item I. The room and they called us and held it I. The front office to pick up before we left town. Super customer service.

Exceptional

The beds were super comfortable! The room was clean and the staff was friendly and very personable. The parking lot was well lit and we all slept well. I would book here again.

The hotel is obviously older and could use some updates, but it is also a smaller town. Still a great stay!

A nice ,clean, place to stay.

The room was clean & the bed was comfortable, clean bathroom, Continental breakfast was satisfactory. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I will stay here again.

A hot breakfast would have been better than cereal, coffee, fruit juice, & pastry. But that wouldn't stop me from staying here again.

Clean, Comfortable, Friendly Place To Stay

This is an older property that has been updated. The husband and wife that own/manage this property are very friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure that you have everything you need. My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower has great water pressure!! There were enough outlets to accommodate my CPAP machine. When I inquired about the pet policy I found out that they do allow pets in some rooms for a small fee, so I can bring my 2 small dogs next time. This property is close to downtown, restaurants, gas stations, Walmart and is under 4 miles from the Kansas Veterans Home.

My stay was very enjoyable. The only thing I can suggest is that they update their in room and online information,(that says pets in smoking rooms only.) They no longer have smoking rooms, but they have some rooms for travelers with pets. The only ice machine is on the 2nd floor, and the in room info says there is ice on the first floor. When I asked for the location of the ice machine, the owner/manager insisted on getting it for me since it's on the 2nd floor. He not only brought me ice, but also brought me a Coke. (The local McDonald's was out of Coke and Dr. Pepper...now THAT'S another story! I should mention that there is an active rail line nearby. I only heard trains before 10 pm.

Exceptional

Staff was greatly helpful and ready for special requests. This was our second time this year and we'll definitely be back.

Only challenge was ice machine being on 2nd floor and having to walk upstairs. This could be a problem for elderly or physically challenged guests.

Very good small town lodging in convenient location with helpful staff.

Convenient location with near-by restaurants and fast-food outlets. Very courteous staff and good clean room. Parking seemed ample and night-time noise wasn't heard.

The photos show a large (red) arm chair or recliner in the single-king-bed rooms but our room (#114) didn't have one. That made it uncomfortable to simply sit and read or watch TV. (Not everyone wants to lie down on a bed to read.)

Great place can't say enough good things

We have stayed twice the beds are like a dream the room was clean this is a non-smoking facility they set up chairs for us to set in outside they are very customer oriented as this was something they did not have to do for us thank you for taking great care of us. we will be staying each time we come to Winfield.

Great place. Highly recommended. Price was very reasonable and a great value.

This was a very clean and nice room. The price was a great value. The guy at the front desk was very helpful and even gave us some extra coffee packets.

When booking and on receipt when paying it said “breakfast”. When I asked they said not now! It would be helpful if it was stated when making the reservation. Owner did make fresh coffee for us!

Facilities ran down. Carpet dirty, room worn out. in need of over all attention for future custome

We were expecting breakfast as advertised,we were informed after checking in that they no longer offered breakfast. We were so disappointed & upset. False advertising.

False advertising. No breakfast. For the price, without breakfast, that was a poor deal. We would never stay there again. Front desk lady was nice but informed she was there helping out.
