Disappointed and won’t stay there again or recommend

Location

Parking fee $10 per day per car is STUPID. You don’t need to charge people to park if they are staying at a hotel. Or just charge a flat $20 per car for however long the stay if you absolutely must…but it is not necessary. There isnt security anyway. Front desk refused to give us towels unless we came down with all dirty ones, which housekeeping already picked up. Another stupid policy. Front desk people were most unhelpful, especially with towels. Elevators are dicey at best and hallways have no air. It’s super hot and humid in halls, and room A/c was hit or miss at night. Bathroom door lock was broken and a few outlets worked. Tv was barely in the wall with two screws. Water pressure was a joke in showers and one of our tubs couldn’t even be used because the stopper area was stripped.

Great location but not the most comfortable place to stay.

It was very hot in the hallways. The sheets were dirty in one of our rooms and there was hair all on the shower in our room.

It was good though. We liked the hotel location and room.

Property is very nice.. you get ocean view by side and it’s just infront of beach. Great for kids to enjoy and clean them selves quickly

Breakfast arrangement. Place to have breakfast is small and becomes crowded and options to eat are limited especially for vegetarians.

It’s fine. It serves it purpose.

Close to what I needed.

Stain on the bed skirt. I told the front desk and was told they would talk to the GM about a discount. I’ve never heard anything after that. Disappointed no follow up. Even had picture for them

Not much

Well to start with they did not have power , so no Ac no elevators no lights in the rooms and while I was waiting to check in I was walking around the lobby I saw water coming out of the the interior light fixtures r From the ceiling. We didn’t even stay there and when I called booking to let them know how unacceptable the place was they said they would have to get back to me. Two days later they said they could only refund me 14.00 . Dont trust booking!!!!!!!!!!!

Ansprechendes Hotel mit schlechtem Frühstück

Lage direkt am Strand und in der Nähe von Restaurants und dem Vergnügungspier. Sauberkeit ok, Zimmer optisch renoviert und recht ansprechend. Recht groß. Preis ist gut.

Frühstück war chaotisch, da viel zu wenig Plätze. Qualität war am Wochenende gerade noch ok, am Montag um 07:00 (Start) gab es kaum etwas Vernünftiges außer Waffeln. Betten waren nicht gut, da plastikartiger Bezug, bei dem man viel schwitzte. Unangenehm. Personal an der Rezeption könnte freundlicher sein. 10$ pro Nacht für den Parkplatz

The beach was right across the street. Pool was small but ok. Beds very comfortable.

There’s only one way in and out of the pool and you need room key to get in and out. Breakfast was ok, very crowded every time we went

Had I had no plans to attend during the day and had to stay in the room I would have been miserable.

Location was good, Breakfast was good. beach was across the street.

My refrigerator door was broken and wouldn't stay closed, the floor in front of the refrigerator was wet, requested housekeeping to come by room for clean sheets and toilet paper never arrived, the phone didn't work, TV had no service Saturday night and Sunday morning, the A/C needs some service work the room would get cool but wouldn't get cool, and the pool was foggy white color.

Location is the only thing this hotel has going for it.

Location was great!

Pool was closed on the only full day we were there. Bar was closed. No ice in any of the 3 machines. Breakfast lines were ridiculous. Check-in staff less than friendly.

Free parking and good location for us

Booked MONTHS in advance. Requested an ocean view room. Instead we got a solid cement wall and a sliver of parking lot view. I asked to switch and was told because we are booked for multiple nights they can not move us or it would over book those ocean view rooms… of people not even there yet. The mattress cover sheet was not changed. Looked like a drink/coffee was spilled on it. No water pressure and the water temp doesn’t go above lukewarm.

Never again

The staff was very friendly.

The first room they gave us had not been cleaned so we had to go back and get a new room. This room was clean but there were patch jobs in the walls and mold in the bathtub.

Follow up when guests make a noise complaint. Make sure NA is comfortable addressing issues alone.

Room was obviously not inspected. Hsk left the door ajar with security latch for inspection. When we checked in door was ajar and had to call down to ensure room was ready for us. Had to call down at 3am to get fd to quiet down the kids running amok and he acted like it was a chore to address issue. Even after he did, there was not a follow up to ensure the kids quieted down.

We went to Galveston for spring break with our two grandsons and the stay was very good.

Breakfast was excellent. Location was great. The room was good, but the shower needed more water pressure or adjustable shower head.

Shower was weak.
