Friendly staff, great location, clean

Very friendly staff, spacious room, clean, good coffee and great cookies! Easy to find, great location, especially if you have a car.

Lots of noise from people next door and upstairs. Cold room, couldn't get the loud air-conditioner to warm it.

Comfortable property in a great location, walkable to many good restaurants and close to many of our favorite places.

The location is great, responsive staff and comfortable stay. Our “go to” place to stay in Portland!

Great place wonderful staff!!

The room was nice and there was plenty of room for me and my 5 grandchildren.

There is hardly no parking especially if there is an event. I had to drive the neighborhood to park at 11:00pm and the neighborhood is spooky. I will stay there again but i will take an Uber to the Moda Center.

Central location but light sleepers beware!

Central location and parking on site.

This was the worst soundproofed property I’ve ever stayed in. You could hear neighbours either side and above you - walking, talking, coughing, turning on their aircon etc. Led to awful sleep quality the entire trip sadly. Also a screaming fight from either guests or randomers outside the property at 3am on the final night - that’s not the Inn’s fault but beware. Quite concerning. Also strange pillows, more like squares than rectangles!

Perfect

A wonderful 2 night stay at this quiet motel just outside the city centre. Huge room, warm shower, comfy bed and cable TV. Nothing overly fancy - for anyone from the UK it’s like staying at a Premier Inn. Would stay again!

Definitely worth recommending

The front counter staff were great, friendly and very personable. I arrived earlier than expected but they were kind enough to let me check-in. The room (at the Inn) was fairly basic but spotless and the bed was comfortable.

The heater was really noisy when it kicked in (I felt as if I was very close to a runway) but it didn't run for long each time. The metal bedframe made some alarming noises but the mattress and bedding were very nice and the overall soundproofing between levels is minimal (I could hear every footstep the guests in the room above took). Maybe if they'd worn the complimentary slippers instead of heavy boots it wouldn't have been noticeable.

Good location isn’t enough to have me recommend this place.

It is a great location with easy walking to lots of great areas of Portland. Some staff were kind and fantastic to deal with.

We had to move from our original room as the room above us was extremely loud. Both music and through the floorboards. The toilet in our room continually ran and caused condensation to build in around it and leave water on the floor around it. We had a person clearly on drugs knock at our door at 4am asking to be let in and our 11 year old has yet to stop being in fear as a result. Parking for larger cars can be difficult, so make sure you are in early.

Efficient and affordable stay for a single traveler. Met all my needs and will be back for sure.

Great morning coffee and lobby snacks. Staff very accommodating. I stayed across the street at the "Inn" and I found it to be all I needed. Clean and safe. Good water pressure and temp and lotsa cable channels!

Ice machine was nonfunctioning at the Inn so I had to go across to the one in the basement of the Suites, but not a huge deal.

Great location. Good value.

So close tot he city. Grest location. Nice simple clean room. Parking is available just opposite the building which also belongs to the hotel.

Breakfast is very basic. So be prepared for just coffee and cup cake and some oats basically.

This place was casual and comfortable for our breif stay, thanks!

We definitely appreciated the parking and the location near a big park, grocery, coffee shop and restaurants! We felt welcome and our dogs, who love to travel with us, liked the easy clean floor! The oatmeal and tea were a nice perk, too!

(There isn't much to say here except that the bathroom will need a remodel soon as the ceiling showed moisture damage)

Comfortable place in a great location

Rooms are nice, a good size and comfortable. The location is great - lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Parking was easy. In general, a very nice stay.

Park lane Hotel is the best of the affordable Hotels left in Portland.

Nice part of Portland. Near the amazing parks and downtown area. City view. Complementary coffee and a assortment of teas are available 24/7. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies every morning.

The main hotel had a very tight and compact parking lot and I drive a Prius too. The rates could be a little lower and the weekend rates are too high.

Front desk staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The suite had enough room to move around. It was like home away from home.

Great area!

Every night between 2-3:30 there was loud noises (thumping and scraping)coming from somewhere and it woke us up all 3 nights. It was coming from outside of the hotel.

Nice location at a nice price

The property was located in a safe area with top, local attractions such as the International Rose Test Garden, Portland Japanese Garden and Hoyt Arboretum all within walking distance. The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking was available.

Please note that the “Suites” and the “Inn” are separate buildings. The hotel reception is located in the “suites” building with the “inn” located right across the street.

Good location, but cramped parking (advise driving a small car).

Good value for the location, would stay again.

Bathroom was clean, surfaces dusted, clean bedding, ice machine was in a convenient location.

Some garbage left under beds from previous occupants, bathroom floors remained wet for almost the entire stay after shower was used for the first time.

IN 2 WORDS. NOT GOOD. ROOMS WERE WAY OVERPRICED FOR QUALITY AND THE TOILET DID NOT WORK!!!!

FIRST THE REMOTE CONTROL DID NOT WORK. THEN THE TOILET DID NOT WORK. WHEN I CALLED AND ADVISED THE TOILET WOULD NOT FLUSH, I WAS TOLD THERE WOULD BE NO ONE WHO COULD LOOK AT IT UNTIL LATER IN THE DAY, AFTER WE CHECKED OUT. The rooms smelled musty and old.

Location was great and free parking availability. Stuff was lovely.

The room was not clean. There was a used towel hanging on the shower curtain, hair on the floor. Water was not refilled, and some receipt from previous visitors was on the floor.

Convenient location. The one bedroom suite was good value for money. Friendly staff. Cheryl was particularly helpful in accommodating my requests when I needed to extend my stay.

Good location. Fairly clean room. Free parking

Smell moldy. Small room. Black mold in bathroom. Had to walk over go get towels. Request cleaning service but did not get one 2 days in a row.

The price was right with included parking for being near enough to downtown Portland.

Parking included. Room was clean. We had a large suite with big screened windows that we could open. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was ok. I left my kindle and glasses and the housekeeper came running out to the parking lot, catching us as we were about to pull out. She really saved me so much angst as we were on our way to the airport and wouldn’t have realized our loss until we were on the plane. Thank you to that wonderful housekeeper.

We arrived at the checkin time of 3:00. Room not ready. They said about 45 minutes and they took our cell # and said they would call when room was ready. We took a walk and came back around 5:00. It was ready. We would have liked to come back sooner, but they never called. The lobby has a sick scent throughout. Hotel is very dated.

Good location for the visit

Good location. Only 5 minutes drive to International Rose Garden and main attractions. 8 minutes drive to downtown.

Room didn’t get cleaned everyday. Wi-Fi not working for iPads so we had to use hotspot.

Erik & Cheryl on the desk staff gave us service FAR above what was required! Exceptional!

Too bad the parking is limited and on a steep slope with narrow parking slots but Erik and Cheryl on desk staff had good advice on parking.
