Perfekte ruhige Lage, großes Bad, toller Zimmerservice.

Nichts….

Posizione molto buona vicina al WTC e Memorial 9/11 e con parziale vista baia&NewJersey ma solo per alcune camere. Stanza pulita ed ampia, abbiamo preso quella con doppi letti Queen, molto comodi e confortevoli, ma che hanno una vista sui grattacieli anziché sulla baia come per le stanze King De Luxe (che ha un costo superiore di circa 50 Usd a notte). Arredamento camera un po’ datato ma con ingresso hotel molto ampio e bella distribuzione degli spazi della Hall. Non abbiamo scelto la prima colazione perché troppo cara (40 Usd px) e vi sono parecchi locali in zona aperti sia la mattina che la sera, dove al tramonto si possono prendere cocktails guardando il tramonto con vista sulla Baia e sulla Statua della Libertà. Anche la posizione per i mezzi e’ buona, ovviamente abbiamo fatto la tessera settimanale su tutta la rete Metro+Bus, che per il costo della vita di NY e’ indubbiamente conveniente (35 Usd px). Con le linee rosse 1-2-3 che passano al Wtc e’ stato tutto abbastanza agevole, soprattutto per Time Square, Central Park, Harlem e West Side. Non abbiamo sperimentato terrazza al 12 piano (apre a fine maggio), palestra e ristoranti interni ma l’impressione dall’esterno era comunque gradevole.

Le amenità per i bagni sono completamente mancanti, con tre grandi contenitori per doccia/Shampo/conditioner; e’ vero che e’ una politica praticata oramai da quasi tutti i grandi alberghi ma quello di fare avere piccoli omaggi su profumi e bagni schiuma rimane secondo me un tratto distintivo per il branding di un Hotel a 5 stelle. Ma questo e’ un aspetto secondario, il bagno era sempre ben pulito e in ordine.

E um hotel excelente. Quartos e banheiros amplos com ótimo funcionamento. Para mim a localização é ótima pois está numa área residencial e moderna, longe das multidões do restante da ilha. A 01 quarteirão do marco zero é de um shopping em frente ao hotel

This hotel was a complete surprise! We did not expect it to be so wonderful! The rooms are so modern and well equipped! We simply loved that everything is touch screen. Loved the Nespresso coffee machine and the Water filter machine. We are so glad that we decided to book a rate that included breakfast! Breakfast was delicious! The staff were all excellent.

I would like to suggest that when clients have to check out long before breakfast time, that a contingency plan with proper food is available. We paid for breakfast for 3 mornings and only able to enjoy 2 because on the last day, we had to check out early because our flight was early. We were able to get some pastries and coffee and two bananas from the Barista station but that is not a proper, healthy breakfast - specially not for children. We did not consume the pastries until we had a proper breakfast at the airport which was a duplicate cost. Perhaps, for clients who have to miss breakfast, room service can put together some sandwiches, juice, yoghurt and fruit which can then be packed into a brown paper bag or box for easy transportation?
