seemed like the room I was in underwent repairs that were not finished and the mini fridge had busted and was defrosting the whole stay.

No towel racks, coffee horrible, bathroom totally inadequate with no sink. Very shabby, decor horrible. Didn’t want to touch the bedspreads. Very depressing place.

Close to niece's wedding at the Smithville Inn.
The air freshener spray was very strong.

the heat wasn’t on in the room and it was freezing took an hour to get warm and they over charged me when he said he would fix it and never did bed was not comfortable

The location was close to an event I was attending.
The policy of nonrefundable reservations at the reservation stage is ridiculous. The wording is misleading. I thought I was leaving my credit card just to hold the room while I verified something on my end. But that was to pay for the room!
Don’t do anything here unless you’re 1000% sure you’re staying because you won’t get a refund!

Location was nice. All restaurants and stores we visited were close and everyone was super friendly. The spa tub was amazing and I soaked in it 3 times in our 2 night stay.
We had a king suite with a spa tub. The room smelled like extremely strong mildew, and was dated, but we got some air freshener and it sufficed for our stay.

Not as close to where I wanted to go but just bad planning on my part. Good thing is I enjoy taking the road less traveled

Non smoking room was excessively smoked it. Walk in and right back out. Had to request another room. This was musty, but better than sleeping in my car. Room needs attention due to age.
I will most likely look elsewhere on future trips to this area.

The person upstairs literally walked across the floor all day moving and slamming things it was a nuisance sit down some where..

Location was perfect for our reason to be in Smithville. Front desk was very nice. Beds were pretty comfortable. Could park right out front.
Room smaller than I expected. Bathroom had shower stall only-no tub. Floor was very uneven...don't know why?
