Day use of the lake trails, fishing, swimming etc. are subject to a $10 per person charge from the ALA Association as Lake Arrowhead is otherwise a private lake. You may be responsible for clearing space in the driveway to park your car(s) & for clearing the steps down to the studio entrance - especially if there is recent snow. There are snow shovels on the small deck to the left of the garage where the trash cans are stored. Please use extreme caution on the driveway and steps down to the studio as the temperatures can get very cold & ice & snow may be present. If you are heading up with snow in the forecast or right after snowfall, please be prepared. NOTE: We can’t be responsible for the weather, road conditions, power outages on the mountain etc. during your stay. It is VERY rare and there are no refunds. SNOW PLAY: The closest ski and tubing areas are in Running Springs (15 to 20 minutes away). • Snow Drift Snow Tubing Park is very fun & low commitment. • Snow Valley ski resort is just 20 minutes away. • Big Bear is about 35 minutes away and has several snow play areas. • Snow play closer to the house is also possible if snow is present & conditions are right.
