About this villa rental

Is Rodeo Ridge the most quintessential Jackson Hole home? Perched on the side of Snow King Mountain at the valley’s southern end, this light-filled log cabin looks out over the Town of Jackson and southern Tetons and the 3.4 million acre Bridger-Teton National Forest, including Greater Snow King Trail System, is literally in the backyard. The amenities of Jackson—restaurants, galleries, shops, bars, and live entertainment—are no more than 5 minutes away, yet your immediate surroundings are wild lands, which sometimes are visited by wildlife like moose. Rodeo Ridge, which has four bedrooms, is the perfect Jackson Hole basecamp for families and groups of friends that want easy (and immediate) access to both the outdoors and the Town of Jackson. Hikers can get to one of the valley’s most popular trail networks, the Greater Snow King Trail System, right from Rodeo Ridge. Remodeled to be open and airy without losing the cozy vibes you want from a log cabin, of course Rodeo Ridge has a wood-burning fireplace in the living room that you can curl up in front of with a book or glass of wine. And of course its primary suite has a private deck from which you can watch the sun set over the southern Tetons. In the Summer, step onto Rodeo Ridge's inviting patio, nestled along the edge of the lush forest, where tranquility meets comfort. To the left of the kitchen door awaits a cozy ensemble of a sofa and chairs, beckoning you to unwind amidst nature's embrace. Positioned strategically before the door is a charming table surrounded by chairs, offering an idyllic spot for al fresco dining or morning coffee rituals. Across, two lounge chairs flank a gentle water fountain, their plush cushions inviting you to recline and immerse yourself in the soothing ambiance, all while gazing out at the majestic forest canopy above. The home’s public areas are on the main level. Also on this floor is the primary suite and a bedroom with a bunk bed with one full-size bed (lower) and a twin bed (upper). The combined living-dining-kitchen area has a west-facing deck and doors that open to the backyard, which enjoys privacy from neighboring homes thanks to mature aspen and pine trees. The kitchen is open with a dining table that seats six and an island with stools for five. Appliances are Thermador and JennAir; there’s ample counter space for prep work (whether by you or a private chef); and the kitchen sink sits beneath windows looking into the backyard and the national forest. In front of the stacked stone wood burning fireplace here there are chairs and a sofa, but, to bask in the warmth of afternoon sunlight, you might find yourself gravitating instead to two shearling armchairs tucked beneath south-facing windows by the dining table. In the primary suite, you can wake up in the king size bed to watch the Tetons glow increasingly pink as the sun rises on the opposite side of the valley. Recover from the day’s adventures with a bath in a deep soaking tub beneath a window that looks out onto an aspen grove and the national forest. Later, enjoy an evening cocktail on the private wrap-around deck overlooking the National Elk Refuge and the Gros Ventre and Teton Mountains. To give its occupants privacy, the primary suite is at the opposite end of the home as the kitchen-dining-living area. The bunk room on this floor looks out onto the backyard. A bathroom with a walk-in shower with multiple shower-heads is immediately across the hallway. The home’s lower level has a laundry room, media room (which has a gas burning fireplace), and two bedrooms. One bedroom has a king bed and the other has two twins which can be converted into a king. The bedrooms are off of the media room and share a bathroom with a walk-in shower. Grand Teton National Park’s main entrance, at Moose, is about a 25-minute drive from Rodeo Ridge. The Jackson Hole Airport is about 20 minutes away. Teton Village and the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort are about 25 minutes away. Once your lodging is secured, a member of The Clear Creek Group concierge team will work with you to build the ultimate itinerary for your visit to Jackson Hole.
