About this house rental

The historic brothel in downtown Custer, South Dakota, stands as a testament to a bygone era, offering a unique glimpse into the region's colorful past. This intriguing establishment, with its five bedrooms, is an emblem of the town's history and is conveniently situated walking distance to various amenities such as restaurants, bars, shopping and wine tasting and a short car ride to Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Jewel Cave, Wind Cave, Mount Rushmore and more. Built during the late 19th century, the brothel, that was relocated from Keystone to Custer, has retained much of its original charm and character. Its architecture, a fusion of Victorian and Wild West influences, captures the essence of the era, with intricate wooden detailing and ornate ironwork adorning the exterior. The brothel's façade stands in stark contrast to the more modest buildings surrounding it, highlighting its historical significance. The interior of the brothel is equally fascinating. Each of the five bedrooms is a time capsule of the past, exuding a sense of luxury and indulgence. Richly decorated with Pendleton fabrics, the rooms reflect the opulent tastes of the clientele that once frequented this establishment. There's a large kitchen, spacious dining room, two living room areas, an office area if you have to plug in. Situated in the heart of downtown Custer, this historic brothel's location adds to its allure. The proximity to amenities such as restaurants, saloons, and shops make it a central hub for the town's visitors, providing an immersive experience of the Old West. Patrons could easily explore the town's vibrant cultural scene, then return to the brothel for an evening of entertainment and relaxation. There's plenty of parking, tables for dining al fresco in the summertime, a solo stove for those cool night and plenty of parking in the back. The covered front porch is perfect for people watching, reading, your morning cup of coffee and your wind-down wine. Come check out my home....and you don't even have to call me Madam! Oh...for the summer...there is not air conditioning....we rarely need it as we cool off in the evenings and the home is shaded by wonderful trees...but if it does get unseasonably warm, we have fans to help....it would only be the upstairs bedrooms that would need that. The main level stays nice and cool. There's a full size washer and dryer for your use as well and I do keep detergent handy for you. I love dogs....but we do have limited grass area so please be sure to pick up after your pooch. FAQ's: IS THIS RENTAL AVAILABLE YEAR-ROUND? YES! Custer is high elevation.
