Property has a lot of potential. The kitchen was well-equipped.

The outdoor garbage can is inadequate for bear country and was full of previous guest’s garbage for 2 days. There is no way to reach the property manager if there is any problem. This cabin was infested with Asian beetles and we had to leave on our 2nd of 5 days. My child had a reaction to the bug bites. No one was available to speak with regarding the bugs for almost 24 hours, they are only there certain hours and you are on your own until someone gets to the call center. The bugs were everywhere, in the beds and once we started a fire in the fireplace, they literally came out of the woodwork due to the heat. It was a nightmare. The hot tub water was beyond filthy and had never been changed. There was a chalky grey brown foam floating on top that also included dead insects. Insect legs lined the edge of the tub. The driveway light did not work and the hot tub is on the basement level and the outdoor light did not work there either. There is no way to reach the hot tub without a steep walk all the way around the house. The photos shown online are years old. There is no longer a large yard in front of the deck. It also doesn’t show how steep the yard is. There is only the one small 32” tv in the living room. There are no other TVs in the cabin. The shower head leaked so you had very little water pressure. There is no dishwasher, even though it says there is one on the stay information poster in the kitchen. There are no longer any curtains, only the roll up shades. The bedding is the same as shown in the original photos from years ago. I didn’t receive an apology or a refund. This is a 3rd party called Cabins For You and booking.com was no help getting us a new reservation or refund. I’ve stayed in hundreds of cabins in the area and I’ve never once had an issue that made us leave. I never dreamed they would refuse a refund or substitute.
