The property backs up to the Kaibab National Forest and is located in Northern Arizona offering the ultimate respite for family & friends with plenty of room to spread out and take in the beauty of the Forest. With a one hour drive to the Grand Canyon, 25' to Flagstaff, and 15' to Williams and many other incredible sites, the Cajun Cottage is centrally located to allow family and friends to create their own memories and adventures. The Cajun Cottage is near the Grand Canyon, hiking, skiing, snow play areas, fishing, biking, and a variety of family activities. This cozy 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom cabin has room for family and friends with easy access to The Grand Canyon, Williams, Sedona & Flagstaff. This privately owned cabin is 15 minutes from Williams and Route 66, 25 minutes from Flagstaff and just one hour away from The Grand Canyons' South Entrance! One hour south is the epic outdoor playground, Sedona. Upstairs the cabin has a master bedroom with a king bed and flat screen TV, a loft area with a queen bed and flat screen TV, and a full bathroom. Also upstairs are two twin mattresses stacked on top of each other. They can be used as one bed or separated to offer another sleeping option. Downstairs is a futon pull out comfotable for two, and in a separate bedroom there is a daybed with two twins. We have a queen size air mattress if needed at no additional charge. The fully equipped kitchen includes a breakfast bar, an electric stove with a smooth cooktop, microwave, fridge, coffee pot, and all the cooking necessities you will need. The living room has a large sectional couch, a 65" flatscreen TV with a sound-bar, and an electric fireplace. In addition the cabin has an oversized front deck with a firepit and seating for five. Also on the front deck is a gas grill for use by our guests with complementary propane. You can stay connected using our upgraded Starlink WiFi & dish satellite TV and we have books and games, extra pillows & blankets and a fully fenced in yard where you can roam. The Grand Canyon Railway offers day-trip train excursions to The Grand Canyon South Rim, and, during the Christmas season, enjoy a ride on the Polar Express. Thank you! Josh & Nanette Miller Unfortunately prior guests have posed challenges so please respect our rules listed below. This is a home for us so please treat it as we do. Please note pets are not permitted. Open fires outside of any kind are not allowed with the exception of the propane fire pit and/or grill. Please do not be tempted to start a campfire anywhere on the property. In the past fire services were called and the clients incurred a penalty. If evidence shows an outside fire was attempted or existed, guests will incur a $250 penalty. We do not expect the cabin to be immaculate upon your check-out; but we do expect the exit rules to be followed such as dishes cleaned and put away, linens removed and in a pillow case, etc. in accordance with the exit email sent the day prior to your departure. If additional cleaning is needed clients will be billed what our cleaning service charges us. If repairs are required due to guest negligence guests will be billed what we are charged. No smoking or vaping on the property. Quiet hours are 10pm - 6am. Please be respectful of your neighbors.
