This is a beautiful home situated out in the woods. Our multiple families (5 teenagers, 1 grandpa, 2 sets of parents) really enjoyed having the spaces both indoors and outside. We mostly cooked at the house which has a jenn-air indoor grill, large refrigerator, double-wall ovens, and an island with a second sink. There is table seating for 8 and the rest of our group used chairs to sit at the island for meals. Two really thoughtfully designed parts of the house were the large windows that let in light everywhere, and the multiple zoned lights with dimmers and multiple options for lighting in each room. There are two AC units for upstairs and downstairs, so we were able to keep everyone comfortable. If you come - be prepared to drive up a long, narrow, compacted gravel road (about 3/4 of a mile) off the main road. We were about 15 minutes from a variety of activities including Blackwater Falls State Park, the towns of Thomas and Davis, Fish and Wildlife Preserves, and more.

Wonderful getaway. Peaceful and beautiful place to stay that was close to everything we wanted to see and do.
