Historic brick cottage has its own granite monument on Main Street. Private gated parking, huge fenced front yard. A history buff’s dream! So many restaurants and shops, Frontier Park, parades, festivals and fun! Very comfortable sleeping - queen bed in the bedroom and gel foam mattress on the sofa bed in the living room. Parking is at a premium on Main Street, but you leave the car and walk everywhere, knowing your car is inside the gated area waiting for your return. There is room for four cars, or even an RV! The holidays are especially fun with special events like ice carving contests, costumed characters, singing on the street corners, and Santa parades. Festival of the Little Hills, OktoberFest, and Fourth of July fireworks on the river are just a few of the things unique to the Historic District. Some favorite restaurants on Main Street are Old Millstream, Magpie’s, Salt and Smoke, Llewelyn’s, and Novellus - and there are many, many more!
