Junior met us when we got there and was really nice. Two blocks from Publix and close to the riverwalk/restaurants. Wasn’t quiet for light sleepers as construction was going on and it’s near the train. Pool was freezing so it’s not heated and even the jacuzzi was cool, but the gym is really nice.

The location is perfect! You can walk almost anywhere. The unit is just as it's described. Unfortunately there was an issue with the front door not locking and we spent two days and nights with a door that wouldn’t lock. With it being a holiday (New Years) the tech wasn’t able to repair/replace lockset so we had to leave and stay somewhere else. We are still working with VRBO about a refund!?!? We will update when everything is settled

A Fabulous 18 day Christmas Holiday 2023 in Fort Lauderdale. The location was excellent for everything from Publix Grocery Store to the beautiful Las Olas Blvd., and all within walking distance. And imagine all that and the Restaurants/Yachts with Holiday Lights! The condo was perfect for us, nicely decorated and very clean. Comfortable beds, really nice bathrooms with supplies and the Kitchen stocked with everything we needed. The host Heather even added the Holiday touches for us. :) While the weather was inconsistent, we were able to use the gorgeous pool 3x's. Probably wouldn't rent a car next time, but the Parking Garage with assigned parking made it very easy for us to get in/out and explore other parts of Florida. Junior was our primary contact while there. He met us upon arrival and helped us navigate the Apartment Building, grocery/restaurant suggestions and overall questions we had. Response time was excellent when we reached out to him. This was our first time to Fort Lauderdale and we'll be back hopefully staying in the same VRBO!

Property was great as was the location

I do feel obliged to mention some issues that came up during our stay. In the second week an unaddressed letter arrived containing a seven day eviction notice to vacate the apartment. This was directed to the tenants of the apartment for breaking the sub-contracting regulations. This somewhat accounted for the hostile behaviour of some of the residents in the building, who had told us we had no entitlement to the pool or other facilities in the building due to the subcontracting restrictions. I would also mention that the picture at the pool posted in the advert on Vrbo it’s different to the pool at the site. Secondly, the advert is misleading on how it lists all the local places. It implies the beach is five minutes walk away. It is not. The beach is an hours walk away and 30 minutes in an Uber with no structured transport system within walking distance. It was not the beach holiday we had planned. We cannot fault the lovely welcome we received or the standard of the apartment and the facilities, it was just spoiled by the other issues.

We hated to leave. It was beautiful. The building, the town, the weather, the facilities. The communication was excellent. The only complaint I have is that I thought it was within 5 min of the beach. I may have misread the description. However, the beach is a good 15-20 min drive. After going to the beach for one day I was happy we were that far away. lol there were so many college kids there on spring break! The restaurants in the area are some of the best I have ever been to.
