The rooms are nasty I don't feel safe there it's a lot of people hanging out on the property and and someone went in the room they gave me and I went and told them they didn't want to give me another room until I got the police involved I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

My stay was horrible the hotels was extremely dirty and stink. I would never recommend Tampa Inn and it should be shut down.

Checkin was smooth.. asked for a non smoking room but first thing I smelled was smoke when I walked into the room. Dirty exterior and very seedy. People were outside my door all night due to the proximity of the washers and dryers. No soap or shampoos or other amenities were available.

Around hotel to many homeless .one homeless was sleeping on in the stair .Inside room clean ,carpet clean ,shower towels to small and cheap.Bed sheet clean ,bathroom neat .Hot water good.Air unit functioning adequately. Only one cup and one individual coffee bag supplied .My husband and me split the cup of coffe,no sugar ,no cream .

It was so bad they had roaches everywhere, in sink,on the bed and on the floors. I tried to get a refund I could not stay with my grand kids we left and got a different hotel

This is a low budget low tier motel. They did not provide soap in the bathroom sink or tub area. The room and bed were clean and comfortable enough for a one man one night stand. The facility is old and the grounds are not kept clean. It was the lowest price I could find; you get what you pay for. It met my expectations.

There were cockroaches in the bathroom when i turned on the lights. And the room smelled weird.

Was terrible, roaches everywhere. Drug adddicts walking up and down does not feel safe to go outside. No secondary lock on doors. Bugs everywhere. Loud noise. Smells bad. Seriously think I left there sick. Dangerous surroundings and people there. Lots of drug users . Do not recommend

This was the WORST hotel I've ever been offered. There was what looked like blood on the side of the bed sheet, the comforter in a non-smoking room had a cigarette burn in it, the carpeting was pulled up in the corner, the sheets were dirty looking and had brown specs on them, the mirror looked like it had oil smeared on it, There was NO PHONE in the room, the digital clock did not work (yes it was plugged in) there was rocks or something in the toilet, the curtain rod was pulled out of the ceiling, there was so much dust on the furniture, that I did swirling motions in the dust so you could easily see it, the room had such a smell of weed (in a non-smoking room) that it was burning our nose, the chair was so stained that I refused to sit in it....as a matter of fact - we refused to sit on anything or touch anything...we were in the room 5 minutes when my wife started looking for someplace else and I was walking out the door. Went to the front desk and showed all the pictures that I just took...he apologized. We left & went to a Holiday Inn Express. I contacted Hotels.com when I returned home, and they only refunded 1 of the 2 nights!! WTH! We never stayed and told Mr Patel that we would not be staying the night when leaving. Why Hotels.com would ever have a place like this on their site is beyond me. And then to not refund my $ completely makes me reconsider ever using them Hotels.com ever again. Beware! Stay away.

This place is disgusting and Expedia should reconsider who they choose to offer on their site. The floor and bedding had cigarette butt holes burnt into them. The carpet was stained and had an offensive odor. The TV stand had so much filth on it and the bathroom was worse than the dirtiest porta potty bathroom I’ve ever seen. We couldn’t even stay there it smelled so bad, and the hotel refused to give us our money back. SHAME ON YOU EXPEDIA!

The hotel is very ran down and isn’t clean. The room looked like it doesn’t get cleaned either during a stay or between bookings. Dirt. dust, grime looked like it was part of the decoration attempt. The bed had stained bedding. The floor had holes under the carpet that would sink in when you walked in the room. The AC was disgusting and didn’t work. The tub drain didn’t have a protective cap or seal. It was full of hair that floated out when the shower was going. The room had no phone to call the office, no alarm clock and no hairdryer. The no smoking room was that only because we don’t smoke. It’s obvious the room had routinely been smoked in. It was a competition between the smell of cigarettes and marijuana. All night the same people could be heard arguing in and out of their room. If it wasn’t that couple it was someone else yelling back and forth to someone in the parking lot. I don’t recommend this property at all under any conditions. Saving a few dollars isn’t worth the trade off of basic cleanliness, lack of any attempts at noise control or the ridiculously repugnant odors of the rooms.

Dirty towels, roaches in room, ac unit was not functioning properly.

Every single thing in that room was disgusting, there were insect live and dead. The toilet was all stained. RUN away from it. Do not stay there, I did stayed the first night because I did have another place to go, but I did not stay the second night paid for.

These people have always been wonderful to me, and the price can't be matched at this location across from Busch Gardens. The Tampa Inn has been a fantastic value and friendly place for me always. I am grateful to them.

The please was in a horrible condition, the guy in the front desk almost didn’t talk to me, when we got to the room the floor was full of dead cucarachas and I can swear that no one ever in there whole life of that nasty Hotel clean the floor or the curtains, there where dead bug in the walls and the ceilings and live bugs coming out of the bathtub, sink and bathroom door. Do your self a favor and save your money and health from this stinky nasty and dirty hotel.

Areas seems unsafe for people who are visiting out of state and doesn’t give off a pleasant a atmosphere especially being located across the street from Busch Gardens

As soon as my daughter turned on the light in the room roaches were seen scampering off the dresser. There was a dead bug stuck to the mirror. Hair in the sink. It was disgusting! We never put our bags down and left the room. I was afraid to check the beds. I am shocked that Expedia would have this in their site. I do expect a refund for having paid for a room that wasn’t habitable!!
